    Hello everyone! :)
    I've been in the middle of moving *sigh* and it's really stressing me out! :( I'm a teensy bit obsessive compulsive about having everything organized and looking nice - which is clearly impossible right now. Not to mention the fact that I can only put my computer in the bar room in the basement (it's a nice house, but it's old and doesn't have many grounded outlets). So currently I'm surrounded by random things and boxes and can't play The Sims!

    On that note, I have a few extra points from the ads I've been saving...and I want to hold a small lottery to maybe brighten someone's day and cheer me up a little! :D

    So here's the details:
    Lottery will end on Jan. 3rd 2014 at 10PM.
    You may nominate yourself and one other person.
    No begging, being rude, etc.
    The prizes are: 100sp for 1st, 75sp for 2nd, 50sp for 3rd and 25sp for 4th.
    Winners will be chosen using random.org, the first four numbers on the list.
    Please post a link to your wishlist, but the prizes will be chosen by me :) (make sure you have appropriately priced items on it, please)

    To enter, you can either tell me how you plan on celebrating the new year, or what New Years resolution(s) you will be making :D
    *maximum of two entries per person, if you were nominated you may still nominate yourself and vice versa, but you can't be nominated again after that.*

      Yeah moving can be very stressful. I hope you get everything done soon so that you don't have to celebrate the new year surrounded by boxes!

      I'm going to celebrate the new year at a friend's house. We will eat Raclette, play some games and set up fireworks at midnight of course. I think this will be fun :)

      Ugh, I seriously hate moving! But you'll feel so much better when you're all done! I'm not sure what I'll be doing for new years yet, but I'd like to spend it low key with my boyfriend and our puppies!

      I plan on hanging out with my husband, trying to stay awake because my body seems to want 8pm to be bedtime lately, and sipping on something fizzy, which will surely put me to sleep. I expect to be down for the night 15 minutes into 2014. :lol:

      My new years resolution I think is to try and let go of past hurts.
      I've been working on that one for years, but it's a gradual process.
      I need to move on and let bygones be bygones.

      We won't be celebrating on New Year's days, but New Year's Eve we'll be having our usual NYE foods. Cheese, Summer Sausage, Party Bread, chips & dip. And I'll probably turn on the D ick Clark NYE special too.

      For news years I will be spending it in the cold around a bonfire with my parents friends! As for my new years resolution, I plan to up the anti on my workout routine and clean up my diet a bit!       Hello, there! I'm sorry about your current situation and hope the stress goes away soon. I'm thankful you're doing this thread to cheer yourself up, which just happens to relate to my new years resolution. It should be pretty simple to complete, but I'll have to save up some simpoints from the ads first.

      Basically, I'd like to start a thread in the gifting forum. I've written out all my plans for that thread and hope that everyone can have some fun with it. However, it's going to take a few weeks before I post it. :-)

      On a more personal level, I'd like to eat healthier this year, hang out with my friends more, and just get out there! Oh, I'd also like to start reading the books I bought months ago. :oops:

      I have no idea what I'd like to do on New Year Eve or day. Usually, I just sit around the house and watch the ball drop. Then, I'll probably call up all my friends to wish them a happy new year.

      Thank you to the host, AimForTheHead! I'm horrible with resolutions, so I probably won't make one. :lol: I'm going to a hockey game with my parents and boyfriend for New Years eve (tomorrow). Mom got 4 tickets for free from her rich co-worker! We will be sitting in the first row, right behind the goalie! It should be a good time. :)

      Hi! I hope you settle into your new home soon! You can always get a space heater to help keep you warm and there are extenders that you can use to plug in a power-strip into the 2 prong plugs (that way your computer would still be safe from surges). I can always some up with ideas to make things work! :) But thank you for holding this lotto it is very nice for you to share your points!
