It looks lovely! I like all the flowers in the corner, they are a nice cute touch. The wood is very nice too, and makes a nice contrast against the neutral walls.
I didn't think of any names but I was snooping around on websites and forums earlier this evening and found a nice little name that might work, Mulberry House / Mulberry Cottage. That sounds nice, but I honestly don't mind if you would like to name it yourself
@Storietime, I quite like the name Mulberry House! The original part could have probably been considered a cottage size but with the editions I think House is more appropriate.
I trend to jump from landscaping to interior but I like how it's turning out. I really love this style of home!
@Storietime, Just so you know I am working on it! You wanted a flower garden. I have a garden style path started on the side with seating and several other seating areas around the lot. I have room in the front corner for a more formal flower garden? Would you like an outdoor play area?
Have a WIP of the garden path and need to know if you have the fairy statue.
Thanks @Jessabeans! I wanted some type of folly to put across from the seating but most would be too large for this lot so a fairy house. Not sure if it's finished. Guess it depends on if Storietime has the statue.
That looks so cute! I love the fairy theme (I'm a huge fairy lover) so I love it. I do indeed have the statue, but I never thought to use it in the garden before. I usually put it near the main door haha.
A play area would be nice, but I will leave it completely up to you how to fill the space at the front. It already has everything I really wanted on the lot, so use the space however you think will look good
@Storietime, Awesome! I'll get that area finished up and work on a play area. I've room, so there is a small pool in the back corner also, not sure how I'm going to do it but I have room! LOL
@Storietime, I'm getting down to the end. Still need a bit of landscaping, play testing and taking pics (which I always find something I missed). The home has been added onto at least twice but the interior hasn't changed alot except for some new paint, furnishing and updated appliances. In the kitchen I have the old arch still there but an updated stove. Do you like or would you prefer that I used an older style stove or took the arch out and added a second stove like the dessert stove or the pizza oven?
Oh I love the arch! What a cool idea to put it there with a stove in it, I love that idea!
I have to admit, I'm not really liking that stove. Sorry I think a different one would look better (to me at least), I do like the pizza stove actually.
@Storietime, I was in a dilemma on which way to go which is why I posted! LOL
So, you would like me to leave the arch and fit 2 stoves in there? The pizza oven and an older style stove? What about the frig, leave or an older style with it also? Like one of the ice box style wood ones or the SN older style?
It looks great with the two stoves inside the archway, I like both the stoves you used
I like the first fridge, the older style one. It looks really nice and more fits in more with the style of the rest of the kitchen
Thanks Paula! Can't wait to see the one you are working on!
@Storietime, I'm planning on getting to the pics tonight so you should have it sometime this weekend! I'll leave you with a pic of the fireflies until then!
You'll immediately feel a sense of "home" when you arrive at this 4 bd + nursery restored stone farmhouse. Four fireplaces, eat-in kitchen, formal dining, parlor, great room, 4.5 b, library, conservatory and storage cellar. Enchanting country gardens with a pond and stone bridge to a relaxing gazebo. Enjoy a balcony off the master, cozy enclosed porch off the library and secluded seating in the gardens or go for a swim in the pool. DNA request for storietime ~ by romagi ~ Enjoy!
Edit: I've got hooked on hiding laundry baskets in the main living areas so they are there and useable. Also, it is best played from the back pool corner.
