So I wanted to give a little something back since I was so fortunate to win a lottery last week, and have been feeling like I needed to do something. So I bought this 1000sps and thought why not hold a CAS/makeover contest! We need more of these around here.

Welcome to the Spring Formal
Rules(Please read)
1. No CC
2. All EPs SPs and store allowed.
3. CAP is allowed but only one pattern per entry.
4. You may enter 2 times. You have the option to switch out one outfit, if you want, but only ONCE.
5. Your entry can include all the items you have used in making the outfit.(top, bottom,shoes...etc..) But just the dress is fine. I will also accept Sim form.
6. Please don't quote images.
7. You do not have to download the sim I made to enter. But some styles may not look good on her figure.
8. Read the next post to find some hints in helping you create.
9. Please share 1 or 2 pictures of each entry.

Hello, My name is Rose. I have been invited to go to the spring formal, it's a dance. I was invited by my high school crush, he just moved back into town. I haven't seen him since we both graduated 5 years ago. He is still just as dreamy. I am so excited. The only problem is I need help picking out something to wear. I need it to be something amazing, something that will make him have eyes only for me. The only dress I have now is one my mom gave me, she got it from her mom, so it's a bit....old. I am enclosing a picture of it so you know what not to pick. I want something stylish. I love the color blue. But want to keep it springy. I also could use a new hair-do. Thanks for your help, I can't wait to try on what you pick out for me!

It was hard to decided on the one dress that would fill all of Rose's wants in this, they were all really pretty. I had my 13-year-old help me judge. We looked at if it fit spring, what would be great for dancing, what fit Rose's body well and then how well the hair and makeup you picked out suited her.So......

1- I really liked the dress you chose. I thought it was very flattering to her figure and the black belt made he waste line slimmer. The hair choice was soft and flirty.
2- This was my favorite of the 2. I thought it was very springy. Again I thought the belt helped define the waste and give her an hourglass shape. The hair and makeup look really good too.
Angel_Zarr- I wanted to thank you for entering my contest. The sim had a CC counter stuck to it so I did not DL. The dress choice was cute though.

1- Beautiful dress! It did help in making her look slimmer. I think her date would defiantly have eyes only for her in this one. I liked the idea behind the hair choice.
2- This was a fun dress and it looks even better in game. The whole outfit was put together very well and I think she could have a fun time dancing in this.

1- I think this dress fits her very well. Great choice for dancing.I tried recoloring it myself and found the black trim can't be colored, shame because I think it would of looked awesome in lighter colors.
2- She looked very foxy in this one! The blue and orange shades you chose go well together. I loved her pose in both.

1- I really liked this. I thought the use and recolor of that pattern was really cool. I would of never thought to use it for this. I thought the color choice complimented Rose nicely too.
2- I think the dress choice here was great for dancing.

1- This dress says dancing all over it. I liked the fun hairstyle too. The make up really compliments her skin tone and hair color too.

1- I loved this one.It screamed spring at me. She looks so pretty. The belt help define her waste and the full skirt looks like a great dancing dress.
2- Again, this dress style really looks well on her. And the coloring is very pretty. Great use of the pattern. The hair choice is very nice too, love the soft side swept look.

1- Love the color on this one.The jewelry is very pretty too. Love the hair!
2- I like the different colors on the dress. I find this dress can be a pain to make look good, but you have it done nicely.

1- This dress was very daring, it shows off her 'assets' nicely. She has a lot of attitude in this gown. The makeup was very pretty too.
2- I loved this, It was a fun flirty outfit, and I thought the pony tail gave it a girlish charm.

1- This soft pink was very pretty on her! The pattern was recolored very nicely. Great work on her.
2- The sunny yellow looks great on her too. I hope that dress stays in place while on the dance floor. lol :P It's very lovely.

2- Loved this! The pattern recolor was so beautiful in game it really made the gown. It shows her curves without showing to much. (It is the first date after all :P ) Loved the hair and the makeup is very dramatic and pretty.

1- This dress was very pretty, I think the faint pattern on it gives it a slimming effect. It looks like a fun formal for those wild nights.
2- The darker blue looks great on Rose. Again, I like the belted look on her here as well.

1- The was a cute springy dress! The yellow and blue reminded me of daffodils reaching up to the blue sky. That hair choice looks great on her too. I like it more and more every time I see it.
2- Your number 2 entry showed up in custard as CC. So I didn't consider it to be fair. I really liked it though.
