Suggest a Baby Name for a chance to win 100 point prize. - Closed Winners Announced

Bel008Bel008 Posts: 2,370 Member
My Sim Niamh has just became engaged and soon will be married. So it won't be long before I am looking for a name for a baby. I am thinking of trying to make it a girl. So suggest a name and if I use it I will gift a 100 point item.

Please note if I decide not to use any names suggested I will still gift 100 points. I will then use the random generator to decide.

I have mostly used English, Scottish, Irish and French names for my Sims before. If you want an idea of names I have used there are Sims Family Trees on my sim blog. The address is http://bel008.blogspot.com

Closing date 5am Monday 25th June GMT.

Please let me know if you have any questions but given my time zone (WST Australia) there might be some delay in answering.

Well, here is my list of suggested names :)

    Aamour - French
Caoimhe “kee + va” - Irish
Kerris - Irish {This is not the Irish spelling, I couldn't find it. My RL niece is called Kerris)
    Aifric (Africa) - Scottish
Eilish "eye + lish" - Irish
Alannah "ah + lan + ah" - Irish
Nuala "noo + la" - Irish
    Juno - Latin
    Ariana - Greek

I thought that Ariana + Rhea sort of fitted into your style of names :)

Yes, I went a bit crazy with the Irish names

Been some interesting suggestions so far.

Emiie10 you can suggest as many names as you like.

Jojo777 Niamh is a lovely name I have been playing her about 18 months. She is the first born of the third generation of one of my Sims families. I thought if I waited till she was expecting to do this then I couldn't play till I had decided on a name. I also think there are more people around on a weekend.

    Thanks VamPanda sweetie. :D

I like the name Margot (mar-go) for a girl. Greek in origin, (Margaret) the name margot is a shortened form of the french name Marguerite.
