Wow, never thought this thread would reach so many replies and views O.o

AS FAR AS UPDATES ARE CONCERNED:

I am in the process of taking pics to update the front page that some of you may have noticed. Shouldn't take me too long...

Recently I had another and closer look at the screenshots and I recognized that almost every (elsewise) free space is covered by bushes, flowers or trees. Now I'm concerned about the performance. It looks as if we need a quad core CPU and 8GB RAM at least in order to play this. Do you have any information for us regarding this?
    This space is for rent.

    I doubt that.
as long as you have a decent graphics card and 2 gigs of ram you should be good.
Triplecore AMD here running at 3.4 GHZ and nvidia GTX 460 1gb
Also 4 gigs of ram here.
    Not worried.

With 4 GB of RAM I could not play. Now I have put 8 GB and I even lost 12 error in other worlds. I have duo core computer. Quad core do not. Sims also plays only one core. Others share the work with other programs.

I was editing the world a little today. I didn't like 30x35 lots I had placed, and changed one into a 40x30 lot.

    That's a little extreme.

The reason why it was lagging like crazy last time is because I had routing paint under bridges and foolishness like that :? In fact, I think the one I uploaded didn't have any routing data at all  Only I could do that...

I think if you have a decent 500mb-1gb graphics card and 3gb of ram you'll be fine.

here is a link to a web site where you just enter the game you want to play.. and pres the buttong that says "Can I run it" and it will scan your pc and give you the answer... No download necessary.. Hope it helps. http://www.systemrequirementslab.com/cyri/

To check your graphics card right click on computer and hit properties, then hit device manager, and then display adapters and tell us that also.

Cool, I never met someone who had the same laptop, a lot of people on the forums have alienware (well, I think I only asked twice).
