Lol maybe they did that to appease all the "twilighters" who were angry Sims 3 didn't have vampires and so they couldn't create their beloved Edward Cullen.

Tell that to the 50 million Cullen reincarnations in the exchange, lol.
I personally dig sparkles in real life...but not on my Sims. It used to drive me crazy when Infallibly Good Witches had sparkles on the Sims 2. IT NEVER STOPPED. Jeez, whenever I look at a nonstop sparkly Sim I feel like I need to take epilepsy meds.
Its not that bad. Kinda cool looking. How do the other sims react to her now?
I wouldn't know, she's too ashamed to leave the house. I caught her standing on the balcony precariously looking at the ground. I think we may have a jumper...

I would comment on this further but I may have hit my head during my seizure.
Haha speaking of Twilight, it seems that EA did a spoof on the new movie New Moon... too bad they didn't add the little sparkles to Edward, would've made it more funny than it was.
I like how my male Sim sparkles, I also like the attention he gets when he's in town etc. It bothered me a little in the beginning but I'm used to it now.
Finally I am finding vampires mentioned in threads. "Why do we want vampires?" someone asked - Because the Sims3 is a lovely but...boring game. I have a Sim in France at the Celtic Ruins and got him down to a level with some sinister looking, squat statues with pointed ears. I am encouraged, but he has to go there again with a companion to continue.

I agree. It's a little hard to take your sim seriously when they glitter...
