I am a Christian, and would like to post the best thing I read since the legislation went through on gay marriages.
Carson’s comments came after the Court ruled to legalize gay marriage across all 50 states.
“While I strongly disagree with the Supreme Court’s decision, their ruling is now the law of the land,” Carson said.
Carson said the religious rights of Americans must not be affected by the ruling.
“I call on Congress to make sure deeply held religious views are respected and protected," he said. "The government must never force Christians to violate their religious beliefs.”
Carson also gave an opinion on marriage.
“I support same sex civil unions but to me, and millions like me, marriage is a religious service not a government form,” he said.
This to me means that though it is a law now in all 50 states, that religious beliefs, may still be recognized as well.
