This is out of left field, but wouldn't it be neat to be able to become a landlord? I made a bunch of efficiencies on a lot once, but each unit wasn't separate in the game..it was like one sprawling house, so Sims didn't keep to their own unit. It would be neat to be able to buy a lot and add units, and rent them out as one's livelihood. But who knows..that may be too hairy to consider.

We must be playing a completely different game I play Sims 4 where every Sim reacts exactly the same to everything no matter what you pick as their traits.

i had to play for a while .but they definetly have their own ideas. i thinki played for a full year. now if my generation 2 heir doesn't get his way. even after i say no. he throws up. or he did the first time i played him. i'm a little nervous cause i'm playing his family. just found them again.and his sister .their triplets yelled at her poor boyfriend just cause he oredered coffee.
I am hoping Sims stop putting food they cook from the outdoor barbeque in their inventory. Not sure why this was changed to them doing this instead of putting it on the table so others can eat.

just a theory but if your off the grid sometimes you don't have actually shelter more like a tent.

Yes, but this is quite a big new thing, and usually packs contain variants of more normal things. So for facial piercings it would be one thing to have specific rings in a pack but the BG to also have some so that the ability for more piercings is open to all. E.g., all Sims can have hair, but some styles are in the basegame and some are in packs.
I hope they open up swimming in all of the seas. Only because they didn't do it with Sulani and it was said somewhere it would be coming. I'm a bit annoyed it wasn't done at that time.

I think it will be tied to university as it is directly mention in the pack description but we will get cars in the base game.

I don't know why they'd hold piercings back to an EP. It should be released to the base game but yeah it's been confirmed it's locked to Uni.
