      I personally am not too bothered by the changing times of the deals. It’s a bit annoying and means I need to keep checking where we’re at with timings when a deal I’m after is getting near. But it’s not a great problem, and I’m happy just to live with it rather than raise it as an actual issue, which *might* precipitate its closure. But I guess it’s quite a big hassle for you trying to keep the lists up to date and accurate?

      I’m glad you nominated this thread — it was actually the first thread that came to my mind as being one I’d really miss, but I didn’t want to nominate it as it’s basically asking you to keep providing a free service for us simmers :) Thank you for being willing to keep going. I don’t know how many others are using it. I’ve dipped in and out in the past, and I guess others may do the same. I don’t know that we need all 494+ pages though. The first page is really important and has so much useful info, and obviously the current listings are important too. I see that page 1 has a history section about previous versions of the thread before it migrated here. Maybe something similar could be done for this move?

      @FreddyFox @rnramey - I have seen other threads, in fact I created one, that mentioned the store being down lately. I agree the store is probably very old and based on very old website technology. A decade ago, when it was announced that no new Sims 3 content was being created and released, the Sims guru of the day advised we would be given "plenty of notice" before the store shutdown.

      I already had a backup of page 1 of the thread. Sadly, many of the links will not likely work as they point to other threads. That was a problem when the other forum shut down and we moved to this one. I had figured out how to access the old forums. However, from what I have read, I think this forum will be inaccessible. There is always the Wayback Machine. So much information will be lost. I am thinking of all the other threads that have been linked. I cannot possibly copy all that information. There are so many websites and threads with valuable Sims 3 information and content that have already been abandoned.

      Wait until they shut down the Exchange and all the builds are lost.

      @goodFeel93 - I think the majority of us feel the same way. So much content will be lost. But I think the majority of us understand that EA has done their best to keep this 10 year old forum going for as long as possible.

      So i think the biggest reasons are the costs :neutral: They should keep at least a lite version of the store :cry: Everytime a error because there's no store anymore...

      @goodFeel93 - Hopefully, the store will stay up for a long time. I still use version 1.67 and the disc version. I do not play Sims 3 through the EA app. I worry one day that I will have to move to the EA app and then I will have to download all my store purchases because I have read that using the items downloaded for disc version won't work with EA app.
