Where is this spreadsheet, please? I downloaded the one for my timezone, but it's only got dates through October 31 and I've been struggling all day with trying to figure out how to continue the dates.

Okay, thanks. I'd found that one, but I liked the downloadable one for my timezone because I can enter into it which sets I own, and what my CYS is and it calculates some things for you. I was hoping you guys were referring to a more complete version of the timezone-specfic one because mine ends on 10/31/18, and I can't get it to recalculate the dates after that. Thanks though. Appreciate the help greatly. :)
I also have one other question - sorry! When I'm calculating SPV for the purposes of figuring out my CYS, do I use individual item SPV or do I include the SPV of any sets I've finished? If I include sets, do I NOT include the individual items, or does it stack? Sorry, I'm finding all the math confusing, lol.
For clarity, here's an example:
Bayside Bathroom is included in the 2010 Compilation. Bayside Bathroom is currently on sale for 162 sp, which is cheaper than the DD value of 214. There are two items from Bayside Bathroom on the DD rotation at DD 888 and 944 - Hydrocombo Spa (23sp, SPV: 42) and Palm in Vase (7sp, SPV:13). Bayside Bathroom has a normal SPV of 246. If I understand correctly, Purchasing the Hydrocombo Spa and Palm in Vase, would give me an SPV of 55 towards Bayside Bathrooms 246, dropping it roughly into the under 200sp range, which with the sale price, would be a considerable discount.
When I apply the SPVs to the Best of Compilation, do I add the SPV for the Hydrocombo Spa, Palm in Vase AND Bayside Bathroom? Or just the individual items? Or the highest SPV only (which would be Bayside Bathroom).
I also ask this, because I've completed the Animals Abound cascade, and I'm trying to figure out how things you got for free calculate into the SPV, if at all.

As for your question, the CYS is calculated based on the value of the individual items, regardless of how meany subsets are involved, or what "price" you paid for them. If you own it, it counts.
For Animals Abound, if I'm not mistaken, there are several glitches in our favor there. So reviewing those sets as examples won't help you. The numbers just don't make sense. Likewise, you will occasionally get a green button you didn't expect and that doesn't seem to add up either. Just hit the button and move forward.
This happened for me twice, with both the Hipster Coffee Bean set and the Surf's Up Sun and Fun Collection. I did not own enough items to unlock the sets according to normal CYS calculations, but the download button is there for both sets anyways. The difference is, the items I hadn't purchased still don't show as owned and can't be downloaded individually. I can only download them as part of the entire set. But I've got the sets, so I'm a happy camper.
However, the numbers always work when they are supposed to. I haven't heard of any glitches where the calculations say the set should be free and it doesn't happen. Well, sometimes there is a minor fudge factor of a point or two, so if it is very close you may need one more item.
In your example, it doesn't matter if the Bayside Bathroom is on sale or not, because the CYS is calculated on the full SPV of each item. So the set price doesn't factor in, whether that price is the full price, a sale price or a DD price. Tally up the value of all 12 items. Multiply by .9, and you'll have your CYS value for the items in that set toward any larger set they are part of.
Oh, and don't apologize for questions. It's the main purpose of this thread.

Okay, so in order to determine the actual value I might have towards a set, then I add up the SPV of the individual items I already own which are a part of that set, and ignore any combo or bundled SPV?

OHhh that's good to know. I might've been confused and repurchased things I'd already gotten as part of sets, if you hadn't mentioned it. I'll have to keep an eye out, and mark them in ownership list as owned when I complete sets. I've been marking them item by item already. *eyeroll*

I don't recommend trying to merge data from the main sheet to your local sheet. There are formulae and formatting that can get really messed up. To be honest, I was updating the Central sheet just now and had to back out the changes because there is a step I've forgotten how to do and I will need to touch base with Jodi (@me1620) before moving forward. It isn't too bad if you know spreadsheets and know which items to handle, but once we've got them updated, you'll be good for a while anyway.
Actually, I used to create custom aspects of my personal copy of the sheet ALL the time. Especially tracking my CYS for sets I specifically wanted. Unfortunately, that was a long time ago, and I don't think I could remember enough to share the details with you.
If you get one of these "glitchy" download buttons, any items that do not show up as owned probably will not count toward CYS. With the Surf's Up Sun and Fun Collection, I only owned the Surf’s Up Sun & Fun Wave Station. The price is 342 SP (I got it with Sandy Shoals.) This means a SPV of only 307.8. No where near the 1,386 CYS for the entire set. I just got lucky.
But neither this nor the Coffee Bean Hipster Loft are part of larger sets, so I never found out for sure.

Once I updated the Eastern spreadsheet, I can give you assistance on merging it with your existing one. I would not want you to have to have to re-enter your ownership notes.
Also as stated on page 1
Rather than downloading the updated spreadsheet or copying the Current and Next Rotations tab, you can easily update the deal start times by using the Find and Replace function.
In Google Sheets, a quick way to change the starting times is to:
Select the Current & Next Rotations tab
Click on the header of Column L to highlight the entire column
Select CTRL-H to open the Find and replace dialog box
In "Find" field, enter ":43" (or whatever minutes are showing for your start times)
In "Replace with" field enter ":52" (or whatever minutes for the current start times)
Select "Replace All" button
After the changes have been saved, Select Done
However, for the 19th and 20th rotations, there are two time changes to worry about.

Oh is that what you meant? I remember reading that, but at the time I was still trying to deal with the overload of information, so it never connected. Thanks for this. I've been looking at the google docs version of the list to determine upcoming dates for rotations, but I really like the local file better so that I can track all my data. It's a wonderful tool and thanks everyone who contributed to it! I don't know what I'd do without it. I've already managed to finish the Animals Abound cascade for about 450sp, because of it. =D

Yeah, I read these directions, but I didn't know what you mean by "minutes showing for start time". I tried to follow the directions on the first tab of the spreadsheet itself, but whenever I did it, I kept getting an error code. :/
However, for the 19th and 20th rotations, there are two time changes to worry about.
I was curious about it... With all the server clock issues there's been this Spring and this Summer, will the server make it through the next time change without a sizable incident(e.g.: the website going offline until next businessday) ???

@Netjera - The Eastern spreadsheet has been updated. I would suggest making a backup copy of your spreadsheet, download the updated Eastern sheet. Then:
If you have already using a copy of the spreadsheet, you can update yours by downloading the new spreadsheet and copying the "Welcome", "Current & Next Rotation", and Useful Links sheets from the new version to the one you are using. You will have to delete the old sheets and then rename the new ones to remove "Copy of" in the tab name. Alternatively, you can download the new spreadsheet and copy and replace the "Items-Owned" and "Set_Tracking" tabs.

Okay, thanks. I'd found that one, but I liked the downloadable one for my timezone because I can enter into it which sets I own, and what my CYS is and it calculates some things for you. I was hoping you guys were referring to a more complete version of the timezone-specfic one because mine ends on 10/31/18, and I can't get it to recalculate the dates after that. Thanks though. Appreciate the help greatly. :)

For clarity, here's an example:
Bayside Bathroom is included in the 2010 Compilation. Bayside Bathroom is currently on sale for 162 sp, which is cheaper than the DD value of 214. There are two items from Bayside Bathroom on the DD rotation at DD 888 and 944 - Hydrocombo Spa (23sp, SPV: 42) and Palm in Vase (7sp, SPV:13). Bayside Bathroom has a normal SPV of 246. If I understand correctly, Purchasing the Hydrocombo Spa and Palm in Vase, would give me an SPV of 55 towards Bayside Bathrooms 246, dropping it roughly into the under 200sp range, which with the sale price, would be a considerable discount.
When I apply the SPVs to the Best of Compilation, do I add the SPV for the Hydrocombo Spa, Palm in Vase AND Bayside Bathroom? Or just the individual items? Or the highest SPV only (which would be Bayside Bathroom).
I also ask this, because I've completed the Animals Abound cascade, and I'm trying to figure out how things you got for free calculate into the SPV, if at all.

As for your question, the CYS is calculated based on the value of the individual items, regardless of how meany subsets are involved, or what "price" you paid for them. If you own it, it counts.
For Animals Abound, if I'm not mistaken, there are several glitches in our favor there. So reviewing those sets as examples won't help you. The numbers just don't make sense. Likewise, you will occasionally get a green button you didn't expect and that doesn't seem to add up either. Just hit the button and move forward.
This happened for me twice, with both the Hipster Coffee Bean set and the Surf's Up Sun and Fun Collection. I did not own enough items to unlock the sets according to normal CYS calculations, but the download button is there for both sets anyways. The difference is, the items I hadn't purchased still don't show as owned and can't be downloaded individually. I can only download them as part of the entire set. But I've got the sets, so I'm a happy camper.
However, the numbers always work when they are supposed to. I haven't heard of any glitches where the calculations say the set should be free and it doesn't happen. Well, sometimes there is a minor fudge factor of a point or two, so if it is very close you may need one more item.
In your example, it doesn't matter if the Bayside Bathroom is on sale or not, because the CYS is calculated on the full SPV of each item. So the set price doesn't factor in, whether that price is the full price, a sale price or a DD price. Tally up the value of all 12 items. Multiply by .9, and you'll have your CYS value for the items in that set toward any larger set they are part of.

Okay, so in order to determine the actual value I might have towards a set, then I add up the SPV of the individual items I already own which are a part of that set, and ignore any combo or bundled SPV?

Actually, I used to create custom aspects of my personal copy of the sheet ALL the time. Especially tracking my CYS for sets I specifically wanted. Unfortunately, that was a long time ago, and I don't think I could remember enough to share the details with you.
If you get one of these "glitchy" download buttons, any items that do not show up as owned probably will not count toward CYS. With the Surf's Up Sun and Fun Collection, I only owned the Surf’s Up Sun & Fun Wave Station. The price is 342 SP (I got it with Sandy Shoals.) This means a SPV of only 307.8. No where near the 1,386 CYS for the entire set. I just got lucky.
But neither this nor the Coffee Bean Hipster Loft are part of larger sets, so I never found out for sure.

In the Personalized/Time Zone Specific DD Trackers Spreadsheet section on page 1 of this thread, I posted that, as of July 2018, the time zone specific spreadsheets will only be updated upon request which is why you only see deals to October 2018. I am so happy that you would like to update your spreadsheet.
Once I updated the Eastern spreadsheet, I can give you assistance on merging it with your existing one. I would not want you to have to have to re-enter your ownership notes.

Oh is that what you meant? I remember reading that, but at the time I was still trying to deal with the overload of information, so it never connected. Thanks for this. I've been looking at the google docs version of the list to determine upcoming dates for rotations, but I really like the local file better so that I can track all my data. It's a wonderful tool and thanks everyone who contributed to it! I don't know what I'd do without it. I've already managed to finish the Animals Abound cascade for about 450sp, because of it. =D

Yeah, I read these directions, but I didn't know what you mean by "minutes showing for start time". I tried to follow the directions on the first tab of the spreadsheet itself, but whenever I did it, I kept getting an error code. :/

@Netjera - The Eastern spreadsheet has been updated. I would suggest making a backup copy of your spreadsheet, download the updated Eastern sheet. Then:
If you have already using a copy of the spreadsheet, you can update yours by downloading the new spreadsheet and copying the "Welcome", "Current & Next Rotation", and Useful Links sheets from the new version to the one you are using. You will have to delete the old sheets and then rename the new ones to remove "Copy of" in the tab name. Alternatively, you can download the new spreadsheet and copy and replace the "Items-Owned" and "Set_Tracking" tabs.
