Question for all you awesome Daily Dealers - If I purchase the Serenity Retreat when it's on DD (#690), and then purchase Sunlit Tides when it's on DD (#972) will the store recognize that as the complete set (so that it counts towards me owning the whole store) or will it only count it as the whole thing if I buy the Sunlit Tides Gold?
I would like to propose that we begin a new "Current DD" thread and I would like to offer to host it. This thread is very lengthy. Excellent information is getting lost within the 1000 plus pages or is repeated many times.
When Ximph, who has done a wonderful job hosting this and previous DD threads, set up this thread she reserved 7 posts on the first page. Based on past lists, we all thought she had enough room to include the list of deals and other helpful information that had been included on the first page of previous DD threads. None of us could have predicted the list would far surpass the length of any of the lists before. Poor Ximph hit character limits in the posts she had reserved. To be able to post the full list of 977 deals, helpful tips that used to be on the first pages of the previous DD threads had to be moved to an off-site DD thread forum.
With the benefit of knowing the length of the deal list, the first page of a new thread could be set up to not only have a list of the deals, but to replace all the information that used to be available on the previous threads. The first post would be a contents list with hyperlinks to important posts and threads within the Sims 3 forum making it easier for everyone to find information included in the over 1000 pages of this thread, in our bookmarks and in our signatures. I propose an FAQ post and posts on tips, guides and informative threads. You may have seen I have presented a new spreadsheet and I would like to see a post with links to the current DD spreadsheet and all the versions of the new personalized DD tracker.
So people will find the new thread, we will provide a link in the last pages of this thread. If people keep posting in this thread, we keep posting a link to the new thread until this one becomes dormant.
If no one objects to having a new thread or me hosting, I would like to start the new thread in a few days.
@Me1620 — That sounds like an excellent plan, Jodi! I'm sure it would be very helpful to add the extra information and links to the first few posts, and to be able to customise those posts as we get new information and tools for the DD community. I definitely think your new spreadsheets should be there. I hope you know how much your efforts are always appreciated.

@Me1620 — That's so great to hear! I feel like I'm bragging whenever I mention it, but I do think it's a useful thing to include. We might have to start collecting extra resources for you to include in the posts. ciane's post about reinstalling content would be a good one for the DD Simmers, since so many of us end up with far too much Store content! But, there are so many resources out there like that. I'll have to start going through my bookmarks again!

@kellycot1 - Yesterday, I was using the simdex in a new way. I quickly copied and pasted the entries you made for a particular set into a spreadsheet. With the set items quickly added to the spreadsheet, I then added the store prices and some formulas so I could help a fellow simmer figure out the CYS and best way to get the green download for a particular set.
We might have to start collecting extra resources for you to include in the posts.

If I get the nod to start the new thread, I value everyone's input, whether the posts will be here or in the new thread.
