    [rules of Nov 2016]

    OVERVIEW
The purpose of this challenge is two-fold: fandom and variety. For fans, this is a great opportunity to roleplay as a Time Lord sans the actual adventuring (hope for WA-type expansion soon!). For non-fans, this is a challenge that forces you to use all 36 traits on one Sim that will change appearance yet still keep their skills, reward traits, relationships and aspiration points.

Time Lords are a time-traveling race in the universe of Doctor Who (click here to learn more). To travel through time, they use a TARDIS, which stands for Time And Relative Dimension In Space. It is a box that’s smaller outside but bigger in the inside (click here to learn more).

When they are mortally wounded or in the brink of death, a Time Lord can “regenerate” to cheat death. In Sims 4, you will regenerate at the moment of aging rather than death. There is a limit to this regeneration. In the Doctor Who universe, the limit is twelve. For this challenge, the limit is eleven regenerations, totaling twelve Time Lords with differing personalities each.

    SETUP
Create a new game, then design your Time Lord. They can be any gender, color, voice and walk.

Their age must be set to Adult. You cannot choose any other age other than that. If you want to roleplay as an Elder, change their hair to gray and add wrinkles in “Skin Details”.

Next, choose their traits. Choose wisely as these traits cannot be used again in the future. Next, choose any aspiration except for Fabulously Wealthy. During the course of the challenge, you cannot change a chosen aspiration. The only time you can change aspiration is when you are regenerating (more on that later).

To name your Time Lord, think of a profession, a title, an object or anything. Whatever you choose will be their Last Name. For example, if you chose engineer, then their last name is “Engineer”. If you are having a hard time thinking of a Last Name, go to http://timelord.namegeneratorfun.com

Now that you have your Time Lord’s Last Name, set the first name as “First”. With the example above, your Time Lord’s name should be “First Engineer".

Click the Game Settings, and modify the settings as follows:
    • Auto Age (Played Sims): Yes
    • Auto Age (Unplayed Sims): Checked
    • Sim Lifespan: Normal
Once done, save your First Time Lord in your Gallery and click Play.

    CHOOSING A LOT
You must choose an empty lot for your Time Lord to settle in. Once you’ve chosen your lot, you can either create a TARDIS, a regular home or a combination of both.

Since your Time Lord is using their knowledge of Transdimensional Engineering, you are allowed to use money cheats (kaching, rosebud and motherlode) and lot modifications (bb.moveobjects on and bb.ignoregameplayunlocksentitlement). You can opt out on these cheats if you want a harder challenge.

During the course of the challenge, you are allowed to move out of your lot and settle in a different lot.

To create a TARDIS, you must simply build their home underground and only have one access point from the surface. You can download an “Abandoned TARDIS” in The Gallery to start.

With their mastery of time travel, your Time Lord can borrow rooms and lots from The Gallery. However, you cannot use rooms or lots that have completed collections in them. If there are any collections present, you must delete them.

    OBJECTIVES
You have three objectives to complete: skills, collections and aspirations.

Your Time Lord must master 19 skills and complete 6 types of collections. You must keep the collectibles on your lot or household inventory. Any duplicate or extra collectibles should be sold to avoid clutter.

Your Time Lord must complete Level 3 or Level 4 of their chosen Aspiration. During the course of the challenge, you cannot change aspiration. The only time you can change aspiration is when your Time Lord is regenerating (more on that on the following section).

At the end of the challenge, you will be scored on your completion of these objectives.

    REWARD STORE RESTRICTIONS
During the course of the challenge, you will gain a lot of aspiration points. However, you are limited at what you can buy and when you can buy.

Youth potions and reward traits are strictly limited to the regeneration process. You cannot buy these except when regenerating.

All other potions are purchasable at any time.

    REGENERATION
In the Doctor Who universe, a Time Lord regenerates when they are mortally wounded or in the brink of death. (click here to learn more)

When you have three to zero days remaining as an Adult, you must begin the regeneration process. There will be a notification for your birthday to remind you so don't forget!

If an expansion/game/stuff pack has an item or activity that resets your Time Lord’s age, you cannot use that item or activity. Only youth potions are allowed to reset their age.

If you do not have enough points to purchase a Youth Potion, open the cheat console by pressing and holding CTRL-SHIFT-C. In the console, type in testingcheats on and then type sims.give_satisfaction_points 1500.

Once done, follow these steps for the regeneration process:
    1. Buy and drink the Youth potion from the Rewards Store.
    2. Open the cheat console. To do this, press and hold CTRL-SHIFT-C.
    3. Type in testingcheats on
    4. Type in cas.fulleditmode
    5. Hold SHIFT, LEFT-CLICK your Time Lord and then CLICK "Modify in CAS"
    6. WARNING! If you changed your Time Lord’s age in CAS, all reward traits and purchased traits will be deleted. If you accidentally switched their age in CAS, cancel the edit and return to Step 2.
    7. In Create-A-Sim, randomize the look of your Time Lord. You are allowed to tweak their appearance, voice, gender and walk. They should not look like previous Time Lords.
    8. Change their first name to the next number. For example, if you are changing the “First”, then you must change their name to “Second”.
    9. Pick three new traits and a new aspiration for your Time Lord. You cannot reuse previously picked traits and aspirations from past Time Lords. To keep track of what you had picked, download this sheet https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1bqdZr10NQN5TLwD1HoL9_XprrwM6qcRE3_RNQpy4Kfg/edit?usp=sharing or this text file: https://docs.google.com/document/d/1-Uml7LDhHL9kobP9nT7p7rcp6xA9X_p_61zdivlLmpI/edit?usp=sharing
    10. NOTE: At the Twelfth Time Lord, if the remaining traits are conflicting, such as having Good and Evil traits remaining, then you are allowed to choose one trait from the First or Second Time Lord.
    11. Save the Time Lord in your Gallery. If you want to share, add the hashtag #timelordchallenge.
    12. Press Done
    13. Finally, buy one Reward Store Trait. If you cannot afford a Reward Trait, you can skip and save for the next regeneration.

    COMPANIONS
Having a companion is not a requirement, but they enliven the challenge and keep your Time Lord company. They can be your Time Lord’s lover, spouse, friend, but they can never be your enemy. If a relationship diminishes to negative, you must move that companion out.

They can contribute towards your income or help around the TARDIS. They can also purchase and give your Time Lord reward potions except for youth potions--only the Time Lord can purchase youth potions.

There are two ways to gain a companion: you can befriend them and ask them to move in, or you can add them in your household via “Manage Household.” If that sim has family or roommates, you have the option to bring them in or leave them out.

Children can be born or adopted in the household. The parents can either be your Time Lord or companions. The children are considered companions and therefore cannot regenerate.

You can age companions prematurely with birthday cakes, but you cannot use youth potions on them.

Should you interact and befriend a past Time Lord, you cannot move them in your household and claim them as a companion.

You can move companions out from your TARDIS any time you wish. You are allowed to use the cheat freerealestate on to place them in a lot.

When companion/s moves out, you are allowed to play them as an active household. However, when you play other households that are not your Time Lord, you must change the Aging to Off. This prevents your Time Lord from accidentally aging up to Elder while playing a different household. If that happens, you will lose all of your Reward Traits. When you return to your Time Lord, you must change the Aging back On to continue the challenge.

    SCORING
Total maximum score for the whole challenge is 36 points. The scoring revolves around Aspirations, Skills and Collections.

    Collections (12 Points)
    • 2 Points for each completed Collection. Limit to 12 points.
    • Seasonal Collections (e.g. Easter Eggs) do not qualify and will not be scored.
    Aspirations (12 Points)
    • 1 point for each Aspiration with Level 3 or Level 4 complete. Since you will go through 12 Time Lords, the limit for this score is 12.
    Skills (12 Points)
    • 1 Point for 8 Skills maxed
    • 2 Points for 9 Skills maxed
    • 3 Points for 10 Skills maxed
    • 4 Points for 11 Skills maxed
    • 5 Points for 12 Skills maxed
    • 6 Points for 13 Skills maxed
    • 7 Points for 14 Skills maxed
    • 8 Points for 15 Skills maxed
    • 9 Points for 16 Skills maxed
    • 10 Points for 17 Skills maxed
    • 11 Points for 18 Skills maxed
    • 12 Points for 19 or more Skills maxed
    • Skills that has 10 levels qualify for points. Anything less are not counted.
    Bonus Points
    • 1 Bonus Point for reaching Level 10 in three careers
    • 1 Bonus Point for having a painting of each of your Time Lords
    • 1 Bonus Point for completing 650 whims
    • 1 Bonus Point for maintaining a lot value of 500,000 simoleons
    • These points are supplementary. Bonus points cannot be used if your score is already at maximum.
    Penalty
    • Minus 1 Point for each Potion of Youth purchased with sims.give_satisfaction_points cheat.

    TIME’S UP… OR IS IT?
When you finish the challenge, you still might be attached to your Time Lord and may want to continue beyond the Twelfth.

If you decide to extend your play, all traits will be open for use again. However, you should still adhere to the rule of using traits only once, or you could randomize the traits every regeneration.

The extended play will not be scored, but it is an opportunity for roleplaying further and completing all aspirations, collections, skills and achievements available in the game.

In the extended play, you can change the aging speed to anything you want. You could speed it up, slow it down or freeze time.

You can also shelve your Time Lord until the next expansion. Who knows what waits for your Time Lord with their next adventure.

    ROLEPLAY
Now that the rules are laid out, there are a lot of opportunities to roleplay as a Time Lord.

Make use of our creative community by going to The Gallery and download historical sites and futuristic lots. You can bulldoze some of the available lots in place for these epochs that your Time Lord will be exploring. Once you have downloaded a lot that you like, place them in your neighborhood and make sure to assign a lot type. Don't forget to credit the Sim Architect! To start, here are some useful hashtags: #alien #future #wildwest #desert #gothic #medieval #asian #greek.

You can also change hidden areas with the cheat bb.enablefreebuild. Alter Hidden Grotto or Sylvan Glades for your roleplaying and storytelling needs.

Also, why not interact with historical people, future folks or terrifying villains? Place them in available lots and act out a scene. You can download them in The Gallery as well, and be sure to credit the creator. Once you have a household, you are allowed to use the cheat freerealestate on to move them on their lot. Here are some useful hashtags: #alien #weird #history #historic.

A great way to roleplay time travel is to have one specific neighborhood designated for one specific theme or era. This way, when you're taking screenshots, you won't have a modern home sneaking into your medieval screenshot--unless something or someone messed up the timeline!

    FAQ
Q: Do I need to be a Doctor Who fan to do this challenge?
A: Nope! You can play this challenge even if you don’t know Doctor Who. I’ve set the challenge to be inviting for non-fans. Even if your story or gameplay is not canon, it is really interesting how non-fans interpret the mythos of the Time Lords.

Q: Do I have to keep score?
A: You don’t have to. You can play the challenge without worrying about collections and skills. But you should still adhere to the regeneration rule since it’s the heart of this challenge.

Q: Can I play other households apart from my Time Lord?
A: Yes you can as stated in the Companion section. But you must turn Aging Off when you do. This prevents your Time Lord from accidentally aging up to Elder while playing a different household. If that happens, you will lose all of your Reward Traits. When you return to your Time Lord, you must turn Aging On to continue the challenge.

    Q: Can I use mods?
A: Yes you can, so long as it does not give you an advantage if you are keeping score. If you are not keeping score, you can use any mods so long as you still follow the regeneration rules.

    Q: Can I use cheats?
A: The only cheats allowed are the ones stated in the rules. However, if you are not keeping score, you can use any cheats available in the game so long as you still follow the regeneration rules.

Q: Why is my Time Lord getting tense from a trait he/she doesn’t have?
A: The game still recognizes the trait your past Time Lord had used. To remedy this, purchase the reward trait “Carefree” for 3,000 reward points.

Q: Can I put stuff above ground that can't be placed underground?
A: You must use “bb.moveobjects on” to place stuff underground. However, you can put stuff above ground as you wish. This rule is not strict; it is merely a suggestion.

Q: Do I have to finish my TARDIS at the start of the challenge?
A: Nope. You can expand it as you go on.

Q: My collections suddenly vanished! What happened?!
A: This occurs when you move out a companion that had contributed to the collection. Not to worry. As the rules state, you should have your collections in your TARDIS so you can drag and drop them in your inventory to reclaim them.

Q: What is the meaning of life?
    A: Forty-two.

Rules have been updated on the frontpage!

    Changes:

    - Aging has been changed. Only Active Household will be aging. Any other households will not age.
    - Scenarios have been added. Currently there are two, but will expand eventually.

That's about it. Expect the rules to change once again after I playtest Vampires Game Pack.

    Allonsy!

    VINCENT AND THE TIME LORD

    PREPARATION
    • Download “Van Gogh House” by arkroogs from The Gallery and place in Newcrest. Use hashtag #vangogh
    • Download “Cafe Terrace at Night” by nastyjman from The Gallery and place near Van Gogh’s house. Use hashtag #vangogh
    • Download Vincent Van Gogh household from The Gallery. Only by himself. No other Sims.
    • Move-In Vincent to the Van Gogh House. Use “freerealestate on” cheat.

    SCENE 1
    • GOAL:
    • Have a “Good Friend” relationship level with Vincent

You open up the TARDIS to a lush greenery and untainted air, far from the metallic spires and dangerous smog of Barakesh-7. You tell your TARDIS that you’re getting tired of her detours. The TARDIS shudders, which was its way of snickering at you.

The console tells your location: Terra-Earth, the year 1890. You take in the scenery, somehow forgetting that you had tickets to Barakesh-7’s Grand Conflagration. As you stroll through the soft grass and rolling foothills, you sight a house by a creek.

There, you see a man, painting on a canvas, a harried expression in his eyes. Before you could introduce yourself, he takes the canvas, rips it up and throws it on the ground.

“Who are you? And what do you want?” the man asks.

    You tell him your name.

“That’s an odd name, friend. I’m Vincent. Vincent Van Gogh.”

The master himself. You contain your excitement, aware that you need to feign ignorance. As you shake hands, you notice some artwork behind him that were breathtaking. You compliment his work, but he sighs.

“I don’t know. I have to meet with my patron soon, and all I have are these rubbish!”

You tell him that it’s far from rubbish; they are masterpieces.

“Hah! Then why won’t anyone buy them?”

You open your mouth, about to tell him how much they are worth in present time. But you close your mouth and nod.

“Want to help me carry my rubbish, friend?”

    SCENE 2
    • GOAL:
    • Invite to Hangout with Vincent at Cafe Terrace
    • Make Bar Drink for Vincent
    • At night, Ask Vincent to Stargaze

You take a stroll with Vincent, holding a painting on each hand. You feel proud for having helped a legend and also having a fingerprint on two of his works.

You see the cafe as you take a turn. People are sitting outside, sipping their espresso in little demitasse cups. Vincent waves at one of them, and the person raises his hand at him.

They exchange formalities, and then the patron began looking through his works.

“An assistant?” asked the patron as you hand him the next painting.

You tell him that you are just a fan of Vincent’s work. Moments later, the patron pays Vincent for the paintings.

“So, friend, do you fancy a drink?” Vincent asks you.

You tell him that you can have a drink or two. Vincent heads inside the cafe. Instead of an espresso, he comes out with a bottle of wine. You nurse a glass of wine whereas Vincent finishes the bottle.

Soon, the skies turn red, and stars begin to twinkle. Vincent pays for another bottle, and he drags you by the hand, away from the cafe. You both climb a nearby hill and then lay down on the soft grass.

The stars seem to breathe life high above the dark canopy. You’re in awe at how the skies paint the galaxies that are light-years away from where you’re laying.

“Amazing, isn’t it? It’s been a while since I had someone enjoy this very moment,” said Vincent, then taking a drink from his bottle.

    You ask why that is.

“It doesn’t matter.” He hands you the bottle, but you kindly refuse.

After he finishes the bottle, you both head back to his home. As you approach, you see something move inside his house. You ask Vincent to stay outside so you can check if there’s anyone inside.

“Prowlers? Hic! Why would- why would they- hic!”

You open the door and investigate.

    SCENE 3
    • GOAL:
    • Return to Vincent’s house
    • View a Painting inside the living room

You sweep the room with your sonic screwdriver. It picks up an entity of alien origin. While the sonic screwdriver analyzes the data, a painting at the end of the room catches your eye.

It doesn’t look like Vincent’s painting. There is something emanating from it, like steam or fumes. Standing close to it makes you feel conflicted. Angry. You analyze the painting with your sonic screwdriver. Upon analysis, it had identified the painting as the alien entity.

The painting turns into an amorphous blob and jumps off the wall. It scurries to the corner and transforms into a vase.

You check your sonic screwdriver and learn that the alien entity is a Hook, a parasitic blob that feeds off sentient emotions and thoughts. They are harmless, and some civilizations use them for medical purposes, especially in the field of psychiatry.

You talk to the hook, asking if there were others like it around. The vase trembles, telling you that it’s by itself. It arrived in Terra-Earth after a transport ship was attacked two galaxies away. It was the lone survivor.

Upon checking your sonic screwdriver, the hook is near death of old age. The front door opens, and Vincent steps in, wavering as the alcohol swirls inside his head. He collapses on a nearby chair and sleeps.

    SCENE 4
    • GOAL:
    • Cook a meal for Vincent in your TARDIS
    • Invite to Hangout with Vincent at a museum. Must be a “present day” museum.

You commend the hook for helping Vincent. Without it, you know that Vincent’s condition would have been worse. You stay around until dawn. Vincent wakes up with a groan, a hangover plaguing his mind. You sense the hook tingle with satisfaction, feeding off the thoughts and emotions from a cranky artist. Eventually, the hook becomes full and sleeps.

Vincent stands up and searches for a bottle that wasn’t empty.

You go to the kitchen and look in his pantry, searching for ingredients for a hangover cure. You sigh as you only find more liquor.

You tell Vincent to follow you, promising him a breakfast that’s out of this world.

You trek towards the TARDIS, and Vincent gawks at the exterior. As you open the door, his jaw becomes slack. You gesture at Vincent to step inside.

“Am I losing my mind again?”

    You tell him no.

Inside the TARDIS, you cook him breakfast that cures his hangover after the last bite. You give him a tour of the TARDIS, and he marvels at the grandness of it.

You pull the dematerialization lever on the console, and the TARDIS travels through time, moving forward into Vincent’s relative future. It is an illegal act based on Time Law. But among others, including yourself, Vincent is immune to paradoxes because of his condition.

You fling the doors open to the steps of a museum. Today’s event is dedicated to Vincent Van Gogh.

Vincent watches the crowd as they appreciate his work.

“They like it?” he asks you.

You tell him that they adore it.

After touring the museum, you return to his timeline. His smile is bright as ever, and he prances through the dale as if breathing in the joys of life. He thanks you for the trip, and he tells you that he’s inspired to do better.

“I’ll even give up drinking so I can make more!”

He shakes your hand, says good-bye and asks that you come over in two week so he can show you his new works. This gives you hope, believing that you may have gifted the world with more of Vincent’s works, believing that you had averted his inevitable death.

You close the door and hop two weeks forward. As you approach Vincent’s house, you frown as he’s not at his easel. You look inside his house, but it’s empty. You scan the house with your sonic screwdriver. No life, not even the hook was registering.

“Can I help you, friend?” a voice asks behind you.

You turn around, expecting to see Vincent. But it’s the patron, a glum expression on his face. At that, you immediately know what happened.

“We have lost a genius,” said the patron. “And not one soul cares, except for you and me.”

You tell the patron that he’s mistaken because the name Vincent Van Gogh will persevere.

(Thank you for playing and reading this scenario. You can keep Vincent Van Gogh in your universe and play him as an active household. If you choose to, you can also have him as a companion.)

    ARGH! I have OCD.

I will be changing the section "Choosing a Lot" and reverting it back to "The TARDIS."

When City Living was released, I wanted to try out the new aspiration for my Time Lord. To make that work, I needed to move my Time Lord out of my TARDIS, which breaks the earlier rule. Because of that, I changed the rule to accommodate the City Living EP.

But now that I've allowed rotational play and Scenarios in the current rules, any simmers can now experience the unique gamplay of a pack. Our Time Lords will be contained in their TARDIS (as they should) to keep with the lore. Moving them out of their TARDIS would go against their character. The Time Lord and their TARDIS have a symbiotic relationship that is very unique. I will be making the changes soon and will post on this thread once it's done. Of course, you can always ignore this rule since they are merely suggestions.

With the coming Vampire Pack, I feel that the rules will not drastically change. I had added a rule where you can only choose a regular sim for your Time Lord (they can't be vampires or ghosts). But when the pack releases, I am planning on creating a Scenario for my Time Lord, one that involves the undead. ;)

Happy Simming Time Lords and Ladies!

Since I'm playtesting multiple households and rotational gameplay, I found some funny moments with regards to timelines.

I have a prehistoric family and a Victorian family. A child in the prehistoric era showed up in the public library, and the Victorian family popped in as well. The clashing costumes was funny.

In my head, I'm imagining that my Time Lord has traveled so much through time that she's accidentally opening wormholes on different eras. And since these wormholes are open, some of them jump inside them and appear in a different era.

This is so what First Librarian did - he accidentally killed a few sims because he was incompetent and took their kid (I guess that was nice of him?) but then lost said kid on another planet (OMG First, always a jerk) and now that kid is grown up and married into my history challenge family in another LP
(Of course this is all just the back story I gave that Sim because he had weird clothes and someone suggested he was a Time Lord himself... nope, just a unfortunate Sim that ran into First Librarian....)

@Spacey72659 I love your TARDIS and I can't watit for your Time Lady :)

@nastyjman I love the idea with different eras and timelines. Looking forward to the update of the rules, but please don't rush yourself and take your time :) I also like the idea of scenarios. Where do you get all this inspiration from?
Glad you did some testing with the aging of the neighborhood - I haven't had the time to check the game and the patch. I haven't even tested the new teeth or the toddlers.

    Thank you!

I'm wondering now if I should have waited and made her a vampire... maybe she'll just have to become one later.. LOL

Yes! I love these type of stories. At least the First Librarian did some good in raising a child, except for abandoning them. :D And hopefully they're not traumatized by the event.

I also have a backstory that I'm creating for my current Time Lord whose name is Redux. When Toddlers came out, I made her adopt one so she can raise him and find out what the fuss is all about ("Everyone is gaga over toddlers. Fine. Let me order one and see what's up.")

She thought it won't be anything special, but after a few days, she fell in love. She raised him right, made sure he had good grades and good skills.

But she fears the moment when he will move out because children need to spread their wings and fly. When she regenerated, she had the Gloomy trait, and she's been moping ever since.

(and yes, this is a story I made up as I went along. But I do dread the day when my Redux's son will be old enough to have a family of his own. I will have to move him out so he will be safe in his own timeline.)

OCD#2 (hoping this is the last time).

I'm happy with the change I made on the aging rules. My Time Lord's child is now raising a family with his cross-dressing husband in Windenburg. They are now raising a toddler that my Time Lord constantly visits and teaches basic transdimensional engineering.

They are safely tucked in the time freeze that'd called "Age Only Active Household."

That said, I feel that "Aging Unplayed Household" must be reverted back to "Checked."
After days spent with the new rules, I feel that the world became too static. It doesn't feel like my Time Lord is immortal because literally everyone doesn't age.

I think setting Active Household and Unplayed Household to age is a rational compromise. The moved out companions, scenarios and hand-picked friends will be safe from the ticks of time if you nark them as a Played Household. The only moment they age is when you play them.

I also think this would be good for roleplay as well. If you set your eyes on a sim you want to be your companion, then you can mark them as Played if they're in a lot or move them in your TARDIS if they don't.

With that said, rules changed again for only one aspect.
    • Auto Age (Played Sims): Active Household Only
    • Auto Age (Unplayed Sims): Checked
    • Sim Lifespan: Normal

    THE BLOOD COUNTESS

    Household Setup:
    - Create a female vampire. (Inspired by the historical figure, The Blood Countess, https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Elizabeth_Báthory)
    - Move her in Forgotten Hollow
    - Must have a pool with minimum dimension of 3x3.

    Scenario Goal:
    - Feed on 5 Young Adults and then drown them in your pool.
    - Be enemies with your Time Lord

    Restrictions:
    - Cannot kill your Time Lord

You see, Time Lord, you and I are the same. We feed off from these Sims. I drink their plasma; you drink what time they have left.

Immortals we are. We have witnessed the withering and decay of our friends and family. Such heartaches are unnecessary, so we flee and hide inside our coffins.

So tell me, Time Lord, why do you care so much of these Sims?

Just thought I'd pop in and say I'm loving how you've evolved the challenge to have scenarios @nastyjman.
I've created a new Time Lord and I'm doing the challenge again :D I couldn't help myself after you posted The Blood Countess scenario ;)

I do have a question for The Cybermen Next door scenario... What happens if you're rotating around in your save and when you get to your Timelord and he/she has met the Bercy family? Do you fail the challenge even though you weren't playing with either households?

Hi @Pebblycat ! So I changed that condition with the Cybermen Next Door scenario. The "meeting your Time Lord" condition has been taken out. I had that condition very early on, and I think I forgot to revise that. Hope you enjoy the Scenarios!

I'm currently undergoing a beta test on another challenge, which was coincidentally inspired by the Blood Countess scenario. :D

However, I do have another scenario in mind that also requires Vampires. This scenario would involve putting your companion at "risk." ;)

Great! I didn't think it was possible to have them not meet so it would've made it very hard ;)

Awesome! I read Elizabeth Báthory's Story and I plan to continue my Countess' wrath to match Behtany's evilness after the first 5 are killed >:)>:)

I forgot to say that I had my third victim trapped in the pool and I traveled out of Forgotten Hollow with Bethany (had to give her the same name!) and when I came back my victim was gone :o:rage:
I didn't get the chance to invite her back over to stick her in the pool again, but will definitely be doing so when I rotate back to Behtany.

Ha! Could be your Time Lord's doing. ;)

I think I may have made a mistake with Vincent... Is he allowed to travel seeing as he can't have electronics?
I only realised he may not be allowed to use his phone after I traveled to my Time Lord's lot to meet her :#

They can. My head-canon tells me that your Time Lord gave him a piece of Time Lord Technology. ;)

It's goofy at first. I also have a primitive household that occasionally shows up in parks, nightclubs and lounges. :D I just pretend that a wormhole opens in their timeline, and they get sucked in, thus showing up in the far future.

It would be funny if your primitive household rocked up at your Sirens' door :D
I was playing the Bercy's and Vincent rocked up, like dude you totally don't want to walk in that house ;) Little did he know Bella was trapped in the basement >:)

And the clashing timelines reminds me of this episode http://tardis.wikia.com/wiki/The_Wedding_of_River_Song

    Synopsis

Something is wrong, in the fullest sense of the word. At first glance, the world seems fine, but upon closer inspection, dinosaurs, Romans, and other things throughout time have appeared. Oddly, nobody seems to be bothered by it, like was it part of every day life.

Another oddity has occurred. Despite the sun rising and setting like normal, the time is always the same. Only the Doctor has the answer, and boy oh boy, it's gonna be a whopper!

I'm liking the new scenarios to help people keep game play interesting...

May keep them in mind during my Time Lady's reign. I think for now I'm going to have he bouncing around through all my game files - might not work because she'll 'forget' everyone she meets, but it could be fun. Lots of work, saving her and the lot all the time and moving it into other game saves so she can dip her toes into all my other stories and meet all my other sims. LOL!
I really gotta plan this one out - I'm starting next week! (Ok, well that was the plan, I may push it back a week to make sure I have the kinks worked out. I guess we'll see when I go to record next week if I feel like she's ready or not. LOL).

*Edit - but I'm excited to get back to this, since she's been planned since The Librarian ended.
I'll be rotating games after each 'season' so this one will last forever (since The Librarian lasted over a year and I played that one weekly! LOL)

    OMG. Can't wait! :)

I like the idea of bouncing around. One way to do it is by saving your Time Lady in your Library through The Gallery. Whenever you save your household through The Gallery, they retain their skills and traits, but they do lose their relationships.

Yep! That's how I plan to do it - Her and the lot... will be a chore every time, but... worth it. Just have to remember to clear out her inventory and place it on the home lot before I save, or else she'll lose anything in her inventory but... I'm not opposed to cheating stuff back in. Hehehee
