China Town is a very nice bedroom! @Nadiabeeee It reflects the Chinese oriental theme so very well! Very nice furnishing of the room! The red and brown colour scheme looks very nice. Very nice corner sitting nook! Sims will enjoy sitting resting on the armchairs having a chat. The teapot is a nice touch on the table there. Very nice bed area in the room! It looks nice how the screenshade separates off the bed area. The type of bed look Asian and nice. The shield banner looks nice placed on the bedhead wall, with the wall lights either sides of it. The wall textures and colour gives a very nice Asian look and feel to the room. The two sizes of globes in the corner nook of the room looks great! They will remind the sims of their happy times they spent travelling the world. The plants are a nice touch on the table at the foot of the bed. The blinds used in the room complement with the theme of the room well. The blossom looks pretty in the room.

The theme for the 116th week : A Cluedo room
For this week, you can only do ONE room for the challenge.
Mary enjoys playing Cluedo very much! Her family and herself spend many fun hours playing the game together, After playing the game recently, she had an idea. She decided that it would be nice if her home contained rooms that reflected the colours, characters and rooms of Cluedo! Could you please help her design these rooms? Choose one of the rooms then choose one of the characters, and then use the colour scheme of that character for the room. The room doesn't need to suit the character that you choose. It just needs to reflect their associated colour. You can though if you would like to design it suit their character too!

The theme for the 117th week was : A surgery rehabilitation gym room in a nature setting.
Joanna has just opened a Rehabilitation Centre in a countryside area in the Sims world. It is surrounded by trees , plants, flowers and a Iake with a waterfall. It is a very calming and natural setting ! Sims are referred there for rehabilitation after surgery. There are a variety of types of rooms in the venue, with different facilities to help with the rehabilitation of the sims. One of the rooms is a gym. Joanna would like help in setting the gym room up to reflect the natural location setting of the Rehabilitation Centre. Could you please help her design and furnish the room?

The theme for the 118th week : a national holiday themed room
Annabelle enjoys reading about the various national holiday celebration days that countries celebrate around the world. She enjoys reading about the festivities and what is done on those days in the countries. She has decided to refurnish a room in her home to celebrate on those days too! She would like you to join her, and design and furnish a room based on a national holiday! It may contain items that relate to things done on that day, or you may like to use the colour scheme of the national flag for the room and tell us what the National holiday is. Any type of room can be used, and it doesn't need to be the national holiday of the country where you live. It can be from any country in the world.

The theme for the 119th week : a Fairy Bedroom
Felicity is a fairy who is moving to Willow Creek! Before she moves into her new home, she needs to set up her bedroom. Moving is quite stressful and tiring, so she wants to first make sure that she has a bedroom, that she can get sone restful sleep in. Every night before going to bed, she plays her musical instrument, Doing this calms her before sleeping, so she needs to have a musical instrument in the room. She doesn't want an ensuite bathroom in the room. She heard that she can magically add a fairy bathroom already to her home! ( There has already been a fairy themed bathroom challenge earlier! ) Could you please help design the bedroom for her?

Sally has just found out she is being hired for the job that she applied for! She is so excited! It will her be her first full time job! She is being given her own office to do her work in. She is looking forward to setting up her office! Could you please help her? Her studies were in accountancy, finance, ,banking and business. It is the 121st room challenge, and so it is also time to celebrate and throw a 21st birthday party !
James and Jessica are sims who are turning 21 this week! They are good friends and each are having separate birthday parties. Choose ONE of them and design a 21st birthday dining room for them!
Jessica likes very colourful rooms, and she likes soft toys such as teddy bears..
James plays sport all year round! His favourite colours are blue, brown, and green. But it doesn't mean that all of these colours need to be in the room. These are just colours that he likes.
They would be delighted if you designed a 21st birthday dining room for them!

A new outdoors Drive - in Movie theatre is soon to be opened in Simsville! Peter has been employed to design and build the venue. He will need to make sure that there is a large screen to watch the movies on , and places to park the vehicles and watch the movies! The theme for the 123rd week : a room for Freezer Bunny
I received a very different type of email this week! The Freezer Bunny requested a room suited especially for him ! He had been looking at the room challenge thread and saw the very creative rooms that simmers create, and because he is moving into a new home, he was wondering if you could design a room for him too! He reminded me that he enjoys playing his Freezer Bunny guitar, so that needs to be in the room. He is coloured pink, so at least a part of the room needs to have some pink furnishing or coloured wall. All the room can be pink though if you would like ! . It can be any type of room! It can be a bedroom, dining room, bathroom, living room, study…any room. But there can only be ONE room entered for this week’s challenge,

The theme for the 124th week : a kitchen for a fisherman
Philip is a fisherman . He enjoys spending the day outdoors just restfully doing some fishing. When he gets home, he then enjoys a delicious meal using the fish has caught. Fishing is his favourite activity to do, and he is looking to redesign his kitchen to reflect that he is a fisherman. He enjoys spending time in the sea, river and lakes settings. The theme for the 125th week : a bathroom for a busy Mother
Miriam is a very busy Mother. She is kept busy caringly looking after her three young children. After the kids go to bed, it is her special time when she can relax in the bathroom and either have a shower or a bath. It is sad, that she is now a widow. Her husband recently passed away from an illness. Could you please help to redesign her bathroom to make it a restful room for her? She doesn't have a large bathroom, can't expand it and can't afford to spend too much money, but flowers are encouraging for her to see in the room.

Theme of the 126th week: a bedroom for a child who is about to begin grade school
Elizabeth Arden is an only child, and she is very excited about beginning grade school soon! Her mother, Coco Chanel, has just taken her daughter school shopping for this very special first day of school. Besides a bed and a dresser, the room needs to have a clothes closet that doesn't have to be walk-in, a homework space, school supplies and toys.

Little Grace is a very excited little toddler ! Her Mother and Father are taking her to a special outdoors play area to celebrate Toddlers Day! It is a very special day of the year when toddlers and their friends all come together outdoors and have fun playing together! She is looking forward to both playing and eating outdoors in the sunshine! She really enjoys listening to music also, and her Mother has promised that the play area will contain music too.

The theme for the 128th week : a painting classes room
Millie is an artist. She enjoys painting, and tutoring other people about art design and painting. Each week she holds art classes in her home. She is thinking of redesigning the room, to reflect her art classes. Could you please help her in the redesigning of her room to suit her holding art classes? She is very creative, and so the wall features need to reflect her artistic talents. There is also an option that you could do a room based on a theme, such as all beach /tropical pictures, or all abstract designs, or pictures that are all a particular colour scheme, or all landscapes or all floral ? You don't need to do that though. It is just an option.
If you decide to use any pictures done by other simmers, they need to be cc free and also could you please credit them with your entry. Your room entry needs to be able to be seen on the website version of the Gallery.

Christine is a simmer who enjoys playing The Sims a lot! She was very pleased when she installed the recent game patch update and saw the new cas and build/buy mode items! She likes the new wooden duck ! She has decided that she would like a room based on the “ hungry like the duck” and the “ I ran so far away” chair ! Could you please help her? It can be any type of room that you would like to create. It just needs to be based around these two items. I will look forward to seeing how you use these two items in your room!

The theme for the 131st week : a dorm room for twins who have different interests
I received a pm from @lsnishi recently with a great idea for a room challenge! She suggested having simmers design a dorm room for two sims that have very different interests. I thought that the idea sounded great, and it would encourage many creative design ideas!
I have used her idea and have designed a room challenge based on it. For this week's challenge, Bella and Lilian are twins that are just about to start College studies, and are quite excited about moving in to a dorm room on campus! They are going to share the dorm room. But although they are twins, their interests and the type of sims that they are very different! They both enjoy studying though.
Bella spends a lot of time going to parties, listening to music,and keeping up with fashions, She is quite neat, and likes bright colours.
Lilian is more quieter. She enjoys spending time reading a book, using the computer, enjoys watching sports both outdoors and on the tv , and is a little bit messy! She just likes more subdued , light colours.
It is a dorm room on a campus so it can’t be too large.
Could you please design a dorm room that will suit them both? They would be very pleased if you would!

Diana enjoys playing Sims 4 so much! She enjoys all aspects of simming, from creating sims, to building homes for them to enjoy living in, and then enjoys watching them live their lives in her game! She and her family have just moved to a new home, and she is now setting up a gaming room where she can enjoy playing the Sims. The theme for the 133rd week: an underwater bathroom OR a seaside themed bathroom.
From when she was a little girl, to now as an elderly lady, Rachel has always lived near the sea . Walking on the beach, swimming in the water, watching fisherman fishing, and breathing in the sea air was a natural part of her daily life. And a big part of her life was visiting the local aquarium.. But now she has needed to move to live to another location, far away from the sea, and she misses the seaside. It would be very special if you could design either an underwater bathroom OR a seaside themed bathroom for her. It would help her to feel more at home, and help her to not miss being near the sea.
Could you please help Rachel?
P.s. It doesn’t need to be designed to suit an elderly lady. She has grandchildren, and also feels “ young at heart”

The theme for the 134th week : an Indian style bedroom
With the addition to the Holiday Celebration pack of the Diwali items that came with the game update today, I have decided to change what I had planned to be the challenge for this week. I have designed a new challenge to suit the new items
Micheal and Janet have invited an Indian friend to stay at their home whilst their friend is visiting from India, They would like their guest to feel at home in their guest bedroom. Could you please use the new build /buy mode items that came in today’s game patch, in the room to design an Indian style themed bedroom ? They would appreciate it!

The theme of the 135th week : a white themed and light filled room for Angelina
With this being Halloween time, there has been many dark, scary and spooky builds, rooms and sims being created. This room challenge is the total opposite! Angelina is an angel. She wears white clothing , has white hair, spreads light wherever she goes, and plays a musical instrument. Her favourite colour is white! She would really like it if you could design a white themed room for her! You can only use the colour white in the room and one other colour. The main colour needs to be white though. Also she would like it to be light filled. This can either be that there are a lot of windows in the room or instead it may be a room with a lot of types of lights on the walls, ceiling and floors! It can be any type of room that you design. It also needs to have a musical instrument in it or a music player.
She would be delighted if you could do that for her!

The theme for the 136th week is : a book club room.
Willow Creek Booklovers group is a book club that meets each week at a library , to discuss books. They enjoy talking about books, and at the same borrow some books from the library also. Due to the popularity of the book club, the library wants to now set up a particular room for them to meet in. Could you please help them to, design it? They enjoy having a drink of coffee or tea during the club meeting, so there needs to a drinks area.
There also needs to be a small play pen in the room or a corner nook where toddlers can play.

The theme for the 137th week : a cat or dog’s bedroom OR a bedroom that contains items that begin with either the letters “C A T” or “ D O G”
The challenge this week is to either design a bedroom for your sim’s cat or dog to sleep in or design a room that contains items that have build/buy mode catalogue names that begin with either the letters “C A T” or “ D O G” . With the release of the new Cats and Dogs pack this week, I wasn’t quite sure how many simmers would be buying it right now or if they would be waiting until later on. I also am not sure if simmers will be busy enjoying playing with the pets and the Vet career, and be too busy to make rooms! I have made this week’s challenge a little bit flexible. If you are buying the pack when it is released, you can design a special cat or dog themed bedroom which is just for your sim’s new pet to sleep in. Or if you are not yet buying the pack or would prefer to design this room instead , you can make a normal bedroom that contains items from the catalogue that have names that begin with these letters.
Could you also please list the items in the room that you have chosen because they start with these letters? You don’t have to name them all, just at least one for each letter. If you play using a different language to English, you can post the name in your language or English, whichever you prefer .

The theme for the 138th week : a McDonalds themed room
Jenny and Justin are married and enjoy eating at McDonalds! They often decide to have a meal there. They like eating hamburgers and French fries! They have decided to give their home a McDonalds theme and use the red and yellow colour scheme for one of the rooms! Could you please help them? You can choose any type of room, but the colour scheme needs to be red and yellow. There also needs to be a hamburger cake somewhere in the room if you own the Digital Deluxe pack ! Food is unable to uploaded in rooms, but you can post a picture in this thread that shows the hamburger cake in the room.

The theme for the 139th week : a guest bedroom for Thanksgiving
Aaron and Elizabeth are young adults and are siblings that live away from home. They each live in different US states. They and their parents are all very excited! It is the USA Thanksgiving time this week and they are coming home to spend time with their parents! Their parents are setting up separate guest bedrooms for them to sleep in whilst at home. Their mother wants to also include a favourite childhood item in the guest bedrooms to remind them of when they were a child.
Could you please design a guest bedroom either for Aaron OR for Elizabeth . You can only design one guest bedroom. The room is not normally a guest bedroom, so it can’t be a large bedroom. It is a room that has been converted into a bedroom for the Thanksgiving time. The family would be very appreciative if you could design a guest bedroom for them!

The theme for the 140th week : a music room for the Willow Creek Choir
It is very sad. There was a huge fire and the Music room where the Willow Creek Choir practise each week got completely burned to the ground! The Choir is very busy practising for their Christmas Carols Concert also! They need to have a new music room to practise in. They would be very appreciative if you could design a music room for them! Often they have a few people who come to the practice and enjoy listening to them singing so there to be some seating the room for their audience. Also they would like some Christmas decorations for the room also.

The theme for the 141st week : a break up tea party room for young children
Christine is very excited! Her kids club is having a break for the Holidays and her mother has said that she can have a celebration tea party at their home! She can invite her young friends to it! Her mother has said that Christine can organise the room, and she has asked if you can please help her? Her mother doesn’t want a bar or coffee maker /tea brewer in the room though. ( a tea set or a drinks tray can be used instead if you would like to. The room can be festively decorated or it can be decorated a different way.

Mexican Flavour is such a very nice kitchen! @emere The Mexican themed furnishing of the room looks so nice! Very nice red, green and white colour scheme of the room to reflect the national flag! It looks very nice the way that you have used green colored cabinets, red coloured counters, and combined them with white coloured wall tiling for the flag colours. The floor patterning looks nice. Very nice island bar stool and sink counter! The combined red, green and white colours of the counter looks great! The alternating green and red bar stools look nice. Very nice placement of the kitchen cabinets over the windows, and it looks great how they create the dishwasher nook. Very nice stove area! The chilli pictures look nice on the wall there, either sides of the tiling splash back. The wall shelves look nice placed on top of the cabinets. The fruit bowl, condiments, hanging pots and cake display items are nice kitchen touches in the room. The red and green colour of the appliances looks great! The microwave looks great angled into the corner. The Mexican cactus looks great in the room. The avocado, larger chillis poster and fruit pictures on the walls add to the nice look of the room. Very nice corner nook alcove with the shelves in it! The red colour of the alcove walls looks great and the kitchen items look very nice on the shelves. The mounted fish is a great touch on the wall.
The furnishing and colour scheme of the room looks so very nice! You have captured the Mexican theme very well! Sims will enjoy cooking and dining in the room. Thankyou very much for entering this week's challenge

Tina and Timothy loved all the countries they visited equally but decided they would like to have their kitchen designed to remind them of their time spent visiting Japan.
Asian Inspired is a very nice Japanese themed kitchen! @WrathofCath The red and black colour scheme to refiect the Asian theme of the room looks very nice! The ceiling lantern lights look pretty in the room and suit well the room theme. Very nice dining area. The red colour of the seating and the black colour of the dining table look great together, and the red candles are a nice touch on top of the table for sims to see when eating their meals. The island stove and bar stool counter is great! The type of stool used reflects well the Asian theme. It looks very nice how the kitchen cabinets are placed in the room! It looks great the way that they create the shelves nooks and the fish tank nook! . The fish in the tank are restful for sims to look at whilst cooking and dining there. It looks great that the display shelves are placed on the wall above the fridge. The wall spice set , dish rack, salt /pepper, utensils , wall cutlery and cookbooks are nice kitchen touches in the room. The red pot plants look nice. The bookcase nook is great! Sims will enjoy reading a book whilst dining. The microwave looks great angled into the corner of the room. The red wall texture looks nice. Nice coffee counter nook beside the fish tank. The nook with the wall of candles looks very creatively nice! The plants along the bottom of the wall and the leafy pictures at the top looks nice. The mooing work in the room is very great!

Tibetan Meditation Room is so very nice! It looks so very calming and restful! Very nice design of the room! The lighting gives a very nice look and feel to the room. The floor tiling looks very nice. The lotus flower print is a nice touch on the floor in the room. The water feature window looks nice in the room. Nice fish tank nook. The fish are restful for sims to see whilst enjoying doing yoga on the yoga mat. The sims will enjoy sitting on the meditation stool and quietly meditating in the room. Very nice seat bench sitting area in the room for sims to sit and rest, with the calming wall of candles behind the seating. The eclipse patterns look nice on the room wall. Very nice texture of the walls. The bamboo plants look nice placed either sides of the door.
The meditation room is so very nice! It reflects Tibet so very well! Thankyou again for entering this week's challenge

Hello @applefeather2 Please don't be nervous about doing the room! I send a hug to you We all enjoy looking at each other's rooms. You have uploaded it as a lot instead of a room, but that is okay. If you continue to post in future challenges, you can upload the entries as rooms not lots. There is a video link on the first page of this thread that explains about saving builds as rooms.

The "country themed room" challenge has now finished. The rooms reflect the countries that they have been based on so very well! The colour schemes of them are so very nice! Tina and Timothy will have very happy memories of their holidays when they are in the different rooms! Thankyou so very much for designing these very nice rooms!

The theme for the week is: a Nursing Home bedroom.
Elizabeth is moving into a Nursing Home. Her health is not too good, and now has come to the stage that she needs to remain in bed for most of the day. Her family are helping her to move into the Nursing Home. The nursing staff will be helping her to get out of bed and sit in an armchair in her room for a short time each day, but that is tiring for her, so the rest of the day will be spent in bed. Could you please create a special Nursing Home bedroom for her ? She will be spending all of her days there, so it would be nice for her to have nice surroundings.
Elizabeth and her family would be delighted if you created this bedroom for her.

Retired my Nursing license a"few" years ago. My area of expertise was Elder Care and I worked in a lot of Nursing Homes. Home Care also became big part of my Nursing experience. A bright cheerful room should fit the bill nicely.

So, I have this thing about nursing homes. I really really really despise them and their closed off nature. I wanted to offer Elizabeth an open room that offered her the option of escaping for some fresh air, so this is what I came up with. :crosses fingers that Elizabeth isn't afraid of heights: lol
You enter this room from that left alcove, (near the old ventillation ductwork) which provides the occupant with a little bit of privacy. The closet area on the right, is also recessed, so Elizabeth gets to keep her dignity if a nurse barges in for whatever reason... gives her a few seconds to snag the robe on the wall! lol
There is a little balcony with a very comfortable chair for her to read or just enjoy the fresh air.

The theme for the 116th week : A Cluedo room
For this week, you can only do ONE room for the challenge.
Mary enjoys playing Cluedo very much! Her family and herself spend many fun hours playing the game together, After playing the game recently, she had an idea. She decided that it would be nice if her home contained rooms that reflected the colours, characters and rooms of Cluedo! Could you please help her design these rooms? Choose one of the rooms then choose one of the characters, and then use the colour scheme of that character for the room. The room doesn't need to suit the character that you choose. It just needs to reflect their associated colour. You can though if you would like to design it suit their character too!

The theme for the 117th week was : A surgery rehabilitation gym room in a nature setting.
Joanna has just opened a Rehabilitation Centre in a countryside area in the Sims world. It is surrounded by trees , plants, flowers and a Iake with a waterfall. It is a very calming and natural setting ! Sims are referred there for rehabilitation after surgery. There are a variety of types of rooms in the venue, with different facilities to help with the rehabilitation of the sims. One of the rooms is a gym. Joanna would like help in setting the gym room up to reflect the natural location setting of the Rehabilitation Centre. Could you please help her design and furnish the room?

The theme for the 118th week : a national holiday themed room
Annabelle enjoys reading about the various national holiday celebration days that countries celebrate around the world. She enjoys reading about the festivities and what is done on those days in the countries. She has decided to refurnish a room in her home to celebrate on those days too! She would like you to join her, and design and furnish a room based on a national holiday! It may contain items that relate to things done on that day, or you may like to use the colour scheme of the national flag for the room and tell us what the National holiday is. Any type of room can be used, and it doesn't need to be the national holiday of the country where you live. It can be from any country in the world.

The theme for the 119th week : a Fairy Bedroom
Felicity is a fairy who is moving to Willow Creek! Before she moves into her new home, she needs to set up her bedroom. Moving is quite stressful and tiring, so she wants to first make sure that she has a bedroom, that she can get sone restful sleep in. Every night before going to bed, she plays her musical instrument, Doing this calms her before sleeping, so she needs to have a musical instrument in the room. She doesn't want an ensuite bathroom in the room. She heard that she can magically add a fairy bathroom already to her home! ( There has already been a fairy themed bathroom challenge earlier! ) Could you please help design the bedroom for her?

The theme for the 120th week : an office for a first time worker
Sally has just found out she is being hired for the job that she applied for! She is so excited! It will her be her first full time job! She is being given her own office to do her work in. She is looking forward to setting up her office! Could you please help her? Her studies were in accountancy, finance, ,banking and business. Her new job reflects some of her studies, so her office needs to reflect that also.

It is the 121st room challenge, and so it is also time to celebrate and throw a 21st birthday party !
James and Jessica are sims who are turning 21 this week! They are good friends and each are having separate birthday parties. Choose ONE of them and design a 21st birthday dining room for them!
Jessica likes very colourful rooms, and she likes soft toys such as teddy bears..
James plays sport all year round! His favourite colours are blue, brown, and green. But it doesn't mean that all of these colours need to be in the room. These are just colours that he likes.
They would be delighted if you designed a 21st birthday dining room for them!

A new outdoors Drive - in Movie theatre is soon to be opened in Simsville! Peter has been employed to design and build the venue. He will need to make sure that there is a large screen to watch the movies on , and places to park the vehicles and watch the movies! The theme for the 123rd week : a room for Freezer Bunny
I received a very different type of email this week! The Freezer Bunny requested a room suited especially for him ! He had been looking at the room challenge thread and saw the very creative rooms that simmers create, and because he is moving into a new home, he was wondering if you could design a room for him too! He reminded me that he enjoys playing his Freezer Bunny guitar, so that needs to be in the room. He is coloured pink, so at least a part of the room needs to have some pink furnishing or coloured wall. All the room can be pink though if you would like ! . It can be any type of room! It can be a bedroom, dining room, bathroom, living room, study…any room. But there can only be ONE room entered for this week’s challenge,

The theme for the 124th week : a kitchen for a fisherman
Philip is a fisherman . He enjoys spending the day outdoors just restfully doing some fishing. When he gets home, he then enjoys a delicious meal using the fish has caught. Fishing is his favourite activity to do, and he is looking to redesign his kitchen to reflect that he is a fisherman. He enjoys spending time in the sea, river and lakes settings. The theme for the 125th week : a bathroom for a busy Mother
Miriam is a very busy Mother. She is kept busy caringly looking after her three young children. After the kids go to bed, it is her special time when she can relax in the bathroom and either have a shower or a bath. It is sad, that she is now a widow. Her husband recently passed away from an illness. Could you please help to redesign her bathroom to make it a restful room for her? She doesn't have a large bathroom, can't expand it and can't afford to spend too much money, but flowers are encouraging for her to see in the room.

Theme of the 126th week: a bedroom for a child who is about to begin grade school
Elizabeth Arden is an only child, and she is very excited about beginning grade school soon! Her mother, Coco Chanel, has just taken her daughter school shopping for this very special first day of school. Besides a bed and a dresser, the room needs to have a clothes closet that doesn't have to be walk-in, a homework space, school supplies and toys.
It will be great to see the creative rooms that simmers create for this room challenge designed by @coolsim9999999 !

The theme for the 127th week : an outdoors play area to celebrate Toddlers Day
Little Grace is a very excited little toddler ! Her Mother and Father are taking her to a special outdoors play area to celebrate Toddlers Day! It is a very special day of the year when toddlers and their friends all come together outdoors and have fun playing together! She is looking forward to both playing and eating outdoors in the sunshine! She really enjoys listening to music also, and her Mother has promised that the play area will contain music too.

The theme for the 128th week : a painting classes room
Millie is an artist. She enjoys painting, and tutoring other people about art design and painting. Each week she holds art classes in her home. She is thinking of redesigning the room, to reflect her art classes. Could you please help her in the redesigning of her room to suit her holding art classes? She is very creative, and so the wall features need to reflect her artistic talents. There is also an option that you could do a room based on a theme, such as all beach /tropical pictures, or all abstract designs, or pictures that are all a particular colour scheme, or all landscapes or all floral ? You don't need to do that though. It is just an option.
If you decide to use any pictures done by other simmers, they need to be cc free and also could you please credit them with your entry. Your room entry needs to be able to be seen on the website version of the Gallery.

Lance and Jodie are hosting an Asian student who is on a student exchange program. They are wanting to set up an Asian style study to make her feel at home. Christine is a simmer who enjoys playing The Sims a lot! She was very pleased when she installed the recent game patch update and saw the new cas and build/buy mode items! She likes the new wooden duck ! She has decided that she would like a room based on the “ hungry like the duck” and the “ I ran so far away” chair ! Could you please help her? The theme for the 131st week : a dorm room for twins who have different interests
I received a pm from @lsnishi recently with a great idea for a room challenge! She suggested having simmers design a dorm room for two sims that have very different interests. I thought that the idea sounded great, and it would encourage many creative design ideas!
I have used her idea and have designed a room challenge based on it. For this week's challenge, Bella and Lilian are twins that are just about to start College studies, and are quite excited about moving in to a dorm room on campus! They are going to share the dorm room. But although they are twins, their interests and the type of sims that they are very different! They both enjoy studying though.
Bella spends a lot of time going to parties, listening to music,and keeping up with fashions, She is quite neat, and likes bright colours.
Lilian is more quieter. She enjoys spending time reading a book, using the computer, enjoys watching sports both outdoors and on the tv , and is a little bit messy! She just likes more subdued , light colours.
It is a dorm room on a campus so it can’t be too large.
Could you please design a dorm room that will suit them both? They would be very pleased if you would!

Diana enjoys playing Sims 4 so much! She enjoys all aspects of simming, from creating sims, to building homes for them to enjoy living in, and then enjoys watching them live their lives in her game! She and her family have just moved to a new home, and she is now setting up a gaming room where she can enjoy playing the Sims. The theme for the 133rd week: an underwater bathroom OR a seaside themed bathroom.
From when she was a little girl, to now as an elderly lady, Rachel has always lived near the sea . Walking on the beach, swimming in the water, watching fisherman fishing, and breathing in the sea air was a natural part of her daily life. And a big part of her life was visiting the local aquarium.. But now she has needed to move to live to another location, far away from the sea, and she misses the seaside. It would be very special if you could design either an underwater bathroom OR a seaside themed bathroom for her. It would help her to feel more at home, and help her to not miss being near the sea.
Could you please help Rachel?
P.s. It doesn’t need to be designed to suit an elderly lady. She has grandchildren, and also feels “ young at heart”

With the addition to the Holiday Celebration pack of the Diwali items that came with the game update today, I have decided to change what I had planned to be the challenge for this week. I have designed a new challenge to suit the new items
Micheal and Janet have invited an Indian friend to stay at their home whilst their friend is visiting from India, They would like their guest to feel at home in their guest bedroom. Could you please use the new build /buy mode items that came in today’s game patch, in the room to design an Indian style themed bedroom ? They would appreciate it!

The theme of the 135th week : a white themed and light filled room for Angelina
With this being Halloween time, there has been many dark, scary and spooky builds, rooms and sims being created. This room challenge is the total opposite! Angelina is an angel. She wears white clothing , has white hair, spreads light wherever she goes, and plays a musical instrument. Her favourite colour is white! She would really like it if you could design a white themed room for her! You can only use the colour white in the room and one other colour. The main colour needs to be white though. Also she would like it to be light filled. This can either be that there are a lot of windows in the room or instead it may be a room with a lot of types of lights on the walls, ceiling and floors! It can be any type of room that you design. It also needs to have a musical instrument in it or a music player.
She would be delighted if you could do that for her!

The theme for the 136th week is : a book club room.
Willow Creek Booklovers group is a book club that meets each week at a library , to discuss books. They enjoy talking about books, and at the same borrow some books from the library also. Due to the popularity of the book club, the library wants to now set up a particular room for them to meet in. Could you please help them to, design it? They enjoy having a drink of coffee or tea during the club meeting, so there needs to a drinks area.
There also needs to be a small play pen in the room or a corner nook where toddlers can play.

The theme for the 137th week : a cat or dog’s bedroom OR a bedroom that contains items that begin with either the letters “C A T” or “ D O G”
The challenge this week is to either design a bedroom for your sim’s cat or dog to sleep in or design a room that contains items that have build/buy mode catalogue names that begin with either the letters “C A T” or “ D O G” . With the release of the new Cats and Dogs pack this week, I wasn’t quite sure how many simmers would be buying it right now or if they would be waiting until later on. I also am not sure if simmers will be busy enjoying playing with the pets and the Vet career, and be too busy to make rooms! I have made this week’s challenge a little bit flexible. If you are buying the pack when it is released, you can design a special cat or dog themed bedroom which is just for your sim’s new pet to sleep in. Or if you are not yet buying the pack or would prefer to design this room instead , you can make a normal bedroom that contains items from the catalogue that have names that begin with these letters.
Could you also please list the items in the room that you have chosen because they start with these letters? You don’t have to name them all, just at least one for each letter. If you play using a different language to English, you can post the name in your language or English, whichever you prefer .

The theme for the 138th week : a McDonalds themed room
Jenny and Justin are married and enjoy eating at McDonalds! They often decide to have a meal there. They like eating hamburgers and French fries! They have decided to give their home a McDonalds theme and use the red and yellow colour scheme for one of the rooms! Could you please help them? You can choose any type of room, but the colour scheme needs to be red and yellow. There also needs to be a hamburger cake somewhere in the room if you own the Digital Deluxe pack ! Food is unable to uploaded in rooms, but you can post a picture in this thread that shows the hamburger cake in the room.

The theme for the 139th week : a guest bedroom for Thanksgiving
Aaron and Elizabeth are young adults and are siblings that live away from home. They each live in different US states. They and their parents are all very excited! It is the USA Thanksgiving time this week and they are coming home to spend time with their parents! Their parents are setting up separate guest bedrooms for them to sleep in whilst at home. Their mother wants to also include a favourite childhood item in the guest bedrooms to remind them of when they were a child.
Could you please design a guest bedroom either for Aaron OR for Elizabeth . You can only design one guest bedroom. The room is not normally a guest bedroom, so it can’t be a large bedroom. It is a room that has been converted into a bedroom for the Thanksgiving time. The family would be very appreciative if you could design a guest bedroom for them!

The theme for the 140th week : a music room for the Willow Creek Choir
It is very sad. There was a huge fire and the Music room where the Willow Creek Choir practise each week got completely burned to the ground! The Choir is very busy practising for their Christmas Carols Concert also! They need to have a new music room to practise in. They would be very appreciative if you could design a music room for them! Often they have a few people who come to the practice and enjoy listening to them singing so there to be some seating the room for their audience. Also they would like some Christmas decorations for the room also.
It would be great if you could create this room!

The theme for the 141st week : a break up tea party room for young children
Christine is very excited! Her kids club is having a break for the Holidays and her mother has said that she can have a celebration tea party at their home! She can invite her young friends to it! Her mother has said that Christine can organise the room, and she has asked if you can please help her? Her mother doesn’t want a bar or coffee maker /tea brewer in the room though. ( a tea set or a drinks tray can be used instead if you would like to. The room can be festively decorated or it can be decorated a different way.
Just a little reminder, it needs to be uploaded as a room not a lot.

I went back and fixed it, so it's better now. I had known how to do it, but I went in and changed something so then I forgot to do it right when I went back to the upload box, but it should be okay now.

The theme for the week is: a Nursing Home bedroom.
Elizabeth is moving into a Nursing Home. Her health is not too good, and now has come to the stage that she needs to remain in bed for most of the day. Her family are helping her to move into the Nursing Home. The nursing staff will be helping her to get out of bed and sit in an armchair in her room for a short time each day, but that is tiring for her, so the rest of the day will be spent in bed. Could you please create a special Nursing Home bedroom for her ? She will be spending all of her days there, so it would be nice for her to have nice surroundings.
Elizabeth and her family would be delighted if you created this bedroom for her.

Retired my Nursing license a"few" years ago. My area of expertise was Elder Care and I worked in a lot of Nursing Homes. Home Care also became big part of my Nursing experience. A bright cheerful room should fit the bill nicely.

You enter this room from that left alcove, (near the old ventillation ductwork) which provides the occupant with a little bit of privacy. The closet area on the right, is also recessed, so Elizabeth gets to keep her dignity if a nurse barges in for whatever reason... gives her a few seconds to snag the robe on the wall! lol
There is a little balcony with a very comfortable chair for her to read or just enjoy the fresh air.
Totally relaxing.
