Just bought the Sims 4 and decided to try a build.I'm not sure how to hide the gridlines without going into live mode.If anyone knows, please let me know.It makes things easier lol.

Also if anyone knows if there's a way to get the default upload image to look good, that would be great.The dumb gallery made default image a sideview.:/

To Download: Open the game, go to the gallery and search "Springfairy556" or "Grandma's House" No 3rd party content used.
It may have used items from Up all Night.

It is great that you have set up a showcase thread for your builds. Grandma's House is very nice

It looks nice how you have the placed the plants on the corner edges of the gated front patio. The flower cart is a nice touch there. Great side patio for sims to enjoy cooking on the bbq and sitting outdoors in the sunshine eating their meal. Very nice furnishing of the interior of the home. Nice colour and pattern that you have used for the walls of the dining room. The pictures on the wall there are nice for sims to enjoy seeing whilst eating their meal. Very nice living room for sims to enjoy sitting resting on the sofa and armchairs and have a chat. It looks great how you have positioned the pictures on the wall and angled the armchairs. The master bedroom is nice. Sims will enjoy seeing the flowers on the bedside table when waking up in the mornings, It looks great that you have placed blinds on the bedhead wall. The clock is a nice homely touch on the other bedside table.
It is a very nice home.

Hi there! For grids, hit the G and they will go away.

As for tips for a better pic, you may need to save it to your library, then move it do a couple different lots. The reason it is showing the side is because the "Front of the house" is set to that side. You can also rotate the entire home, by clicking on the Move House button while in build (or hit U). Maybe rotate it to the left?

Nice to see your first sims 4 build!

Cute cottage Springfairy! I like the living room and the bedroom very much. I wish we had a gallery pic changer too! Like we used to have for sims 3! The gallery pics never does justice to anyone's build!

Moore Homestead

The Moore Homestead was built in 1835, by Mr.James B. Moore, he lived there his entire life until, 1863 when he enlisted with the Union Army.
Mr. Moore died less than 2 miles from his home, in Gettysburg.The Home has 2 bedrooms, and 2 bathrooms.

The Moore Homestead is very nice

It looks nice how you have used the open shutter windows in the build. Nice sofa sitting area in the entrance hall. The musician picture on the wall is nice for sims to see when they sitting there, and the plants look nice how you have placed them either side of the sofa. Very nice living room! It looks great how you have placed and angled the bookcases either side of the fireplace. The flowers look nice on the stands each side of the fire for sims to enjoy seeing whilst they are sitting resting on the sofa and arm chairs having a chat or a read of a book. The wooden flooring in the rooms of the home looks nice. The large floor rug in the living room adds a nice look to the room. The type of seats that you have used in the dining room look nice. It looks nice how you have placed pictures on the walls there for sims to enjoy seeing whilst eating their meals. Very nice design and furnishing of the kitchen! The island counter looks great, and the hanging pots, teapot and fruit bowl on the counters are great kitchen touches. The yellow and white flowers on the counters are sunny and nice for sims to see when they are cooking meals in the kitchen. Nice upstairs sitting and reading nook area. The clocks on the bedside tables in the bedroom are great home touches there. The floor rug looks nice there.

The extra pictures of your build look great

It looks very nice how you have done the archway bath alcove in the bathroom. The flowers on the tables are nice touches in the bathroom. The big toys look very cute in the kids room! The large floral picture on the side wall and the pictures on the end wall are very nice for sims to see when they wake and get up in the mornings.
Your home is very nice.

Your Civil War Kitchen room looks very nice!

Great layout and furnishing of it! The texture of the counters suits the theme of the room. The island counter looks great! It looks great how you have done the pots and pans alcove. The display cabinets look nice how you have placed them either side of it. The fruit bowl and teapot on the counter are nice kitchen touches. The family picture on the wall looks homely. The flowers in the room will be nice for sims to see whilst cooking there.
