@PurpleM00n I don't know if this will work because I don't have the pack yet, but does the robotic vacuum cleaner that came with the pack work outside? Maybe it can clean up the mess for you, and it could stay outside and monitor in case of any more messes.

I traveled to another lot and when I came back it all disappeared. I took off the lot trait that attract stray dogs so it should help.

You might have to go out of your way for this, but I noticed that NPCs will sometimes bring strays to the vet (even though I don't think you can). Maybe if you hang out there for a while the dog will be brought in and cured?

You can also get a wellness treat from the vet (or your sim can make one if a vet or has the lab machine and enough vet skill) and if the stray will interact with you - ask whats wrong - message will pop up saying it is ill - then if you have the wellness treat in your inventory - can give that to the dog and will cure it (at least temporarily - not sure how long that lasts or if maybe strays are programed to do this). My Sim cured a bunch of pets at the park with wellness treats though so should work.

What lvel should I be so I can make these wellness treats? I have a sim who is a dog lover and I have set the lot to dog hangout. I laid down a couple of food bowls outside my house so they can just eat anytime. Some of them are really sick and I dont want my dog getting anything nasty from them.

@PurpleM00n I think that stray dog is pregnant. I adopted a stray cat and she kept doing something similar....took her to the vet and there was nothing wrong with her....tried to get her to mate and it wouldn't work and said "fixed" pets can't mate....opened up CAS and couldn't adjust her age due to being pregnant....sure enough, 2 days after I adopted her, she gave birth. (The fixed pets message was probably a mistake and should have said pregnant pets can't mate).

Hi, due to my rank status I can't post my own thred.

I do have a bug problem (I think) with Cats and Dogs. Apart from my pets constantly getting sick, they throw up EVERYWHERE!! It's really annoying. When I go to lots in the different cities, there's puke and pee everywhere. Is there a mod or something that can prevent this or quickly clean up? It takes a million years for my simmers to clean up and they get very uncomftorble. Pleeeeease help :(

I'm also having the same problem with a dog on of my sims owns. It got sick so I took it to the vet, cured it, and then took it back home. As soon as we get home, the dog is collapsing and vomiting everywhere. Not really wanting to play the new content till that is fixed.

I am sorry that you are having this issue. Try seeing if having your sim using the equipment themself at home may help the issue with this dog.

If the issue remains try doing this

1. Enable testing cheats by opening the console (Control+Shift+C and typing in testingcheats on)
2. Get the SimID by the pet affected by the bug by typing in the command sims.get_sim_id_by_name FirstNameofPet LastNameofPet
3. Write down the sim ID written in the console, it'll be a 19 character long string
4. Remove all moodlets from your pet by typing in sims.remove_all_buffs SimID, e.g. sims.remove_all_buffs 1052442116385935975

What you can do is open up notepad or something in a small window above the game and then type down the SimID there, provided you play in windowed full-screen or windowed mode, and not actual full-screen. You can then copy-paste (Control-C, Control V) the SimID once into the console

The animals of my sims do it as well. I cant bring them to the Veteran. Ist so UGLY.

I found a fridgerator that if you buy pet treats from your pet clinic there was one treat that would help heal sickness, one called ambrosia treat bring back the animal, one to age up, one to age down, if this helps.

When your sim reaches certain levels in the vet skill, you can also craft the pet treat items at home using the crafting station.
