    Hey there! I'm starting up Sims 4, I last played a couple years ago when Get To Work released.


    Thank goodness we don't need a gardner mod anymore :)
    So far I've seen the Food Delivery mod , Turning Off Vampires, Faster Showering, etc that are popular.

    What gameplay mods are your must haves, you can't play vanilla without?

      MC_Command Center.

      I love the auto-controls. Very easy to navigate. Gets rid of bad clothes via a filter. Has settings to manage populations, move sims into empty houses, marry, have babies ... it allows the neighborhood to grow.

      I have to have mc command center, UI extension cheats, cinderelli auto npc's. the no vampires in neighborhoods didn't work for me.. I haven't tried the other two you mentioned.

      #1 MC Command Center, https://deaderpoolmc.tumblr.com/ it adds story progression, it's a big mod and may look scary at first but it is easy to use and is updated all the time, a must have IMO #2 UI extension cheats http://modthesims.info/download.php?t=558548 I admit I do cheat at times and instead of feeding my sims, I just fill up their hunger bar :-) Since you mentioned turning off vampires, I won't link you to the vampire mods I use. If you are interested in MCCC and need any help EG has a help thread here and we are also at discord where you will get any help you need right away.

      The top most have mods for me would be MCC and UI extension cheat...my simming life has been made easier with these two mods

      Graycurse's Ingredients Overhaul
      Custom Food Interactions by TheFoodGroup
      Custom foods and garden plants- mostly by modders Icemunmun, Leniad, and TheFoodGroup

      Also: Realistic wages for my poor sims
      Drop out of school mod
      Part-time jobs for adults
      Tanja's better plasma fruit mod for vampires

      I still won't have mods or cc. For one thing because it seems to hard to install and then when an update or game pkg comes out, it has to be placed in a new folder, on a full moon, while eating beans, and all that jaz. In other words it intimidates me :-/, In Sims 2 and 3 I always had cc, but too many times the cc monkied up my game.

      Loved seeing everybody mentioning MC Command Center as a must-have mod. <3

      And BTW, I agree with MCCC and UI Cheats as must-haves. I have another favorite mod, awesome if you like DETAILS... Show/Search Sim Info by itasan2. Check it out, it is truly amazing if data-mining is your thing. (Yes, I *am* that kind of a nerd.) ;)

      my only "must have" mod is probably shimrod's facial overlays
      it just puts the less enthusiastic focused face on sims that are happy so they aren't smiling like creepy dolls all the time
      MCCC is great as well of course
      and hired help for allowing me to customize my butler's outfit

      Thank you thank you!! This really helps me since I love a realistic game. MCCC and UI cheats are great for management, but these mods are super helpful gameplay wise.

      For me the best two gameplay mods are Zerbu's Go to School and Turbo Careers, which sadly he will be unable to keep up. They really extend the joy of Get to Work for me. MC Command Center is also really helpful.

      Just a quicky, since you have MCCC installed there is no need to also have the no monster under the bed mod, the testing cheats always on or cas full edit mode always on as MCCC does all of these things for you.
      For testing cheats MCCC > MCCC Settings > Notification / Console / Menu Settings > Console Command Settings > Testing Cheats, < enable

      no monster under bed MC Occult > Other Settings > Allow Monster Under Bed < disable

      Cas full edit MCCC > MCCC Settings > Notification / Console / Menu Settings > Console Command Settings > Enable Full Edit CAS <enable

      If you would like all items always unlocked MCCC > MCCC Settings > Notification / Console / Menu Settings > Console Command Settings > Build Buy Settings > Ignore Unlocks Enabled

      I found this image, but can't find the actual link to download it and it's breaking my heart because I have no idea how to create stuff. Please help?!
