Sims 4 World Adventures

I would really love to see a World Adventures expansion pack. Here's what I would put in it:

Vacation destinations such as Egypt, Rome, Greece and an East Asian country
Build your own tombs like in Sims 3
Better chance of getting an adventure that lets you get into a tomb
World music genres
Certain tomb items (like step-on panels) could be triggered by a pet as well as a Sim

What i want to see is a gambling desert town.

What i want to see is a gambling desert town.

That would raise the rating to M in some countries, and in some country's an M means that anyone that's not an adult can't play (Or say goodbye to your parents and get used to seing them in jail!), ea does not want that, as they would lose a huge amount of their market, which is mainly comprised of teens and pre-teens.

Sure, I think it's a great idea, but maybe add some more details to the idea? And also, the thing about step-on panels being activated by pets makes no sense, as pets have not been added to the game yet, not in a free update, or in any form of DLC.

We have gambling in TS3 when they put the gold version of Lucky Palms in the store and added the premium content casino venue that you could buy with simpoints and the rating is still a teen rating. The casino came with slot machines and card tables. They also had gambling in the Sims 2 game when Nightlife came out. So if they could have gambling for TS2/TS3, then they can do it for TS4 and it can be in a game pack. And besides, the game is rated Mature in some countries the same as TS3 was rated in those same countries. Just because it's a Teen rating in the USA doesn't mean that it's the same rating for all of the other countries. Take Russia for an example, they have the Adult(18+) rating because of the same-sex relationships in the game. Australia has the Mature rating due to the violence and sexual references in the game. Then there are some countries that have the age limits set to 6 years and up that can play the game.

Edit to say that Into the Future EP brought us a way to buy lottery tickets and playing the lottery is gambling and that pack is still rated T for teen.

That would of course only be an option if you had the (hypothetical) pets pack.

The tomb idea, I think, would be similar to TS3's ones. I'm thinking, just for fun, a swinging rope could be added and if you don't get off at the right time, you fall unharmed to the floor below and have to climb up and try again. I thought of this because TS3 World Adventures reminds me of my Barbie Explorer game, which I love, and that feature would make it even more like that.

I loved World Adventures in Sims 3 and still play it since it is not available in Sims 4, yet; which I hope will change at some point soon. In fact, I have noticed my Sims watching a travel show in Sims 4 that features China and Egypt from WA, but not France. I really liked France so I hope it will be included when WA comes to Sims 4. In Sims 3 I have a Sim lady explorer who has reached top visa levels in all the worlds and owns homes in each one as well. She has acquired top levels in Karate skills which is so cool to watch and I have captured some awesome screenshots of her workouts. Her tomb exploration has brought many riches her way and she loves winning the fights with the Mummies. And all this without cheats, which I found gratifying because these accomplishments took time and effort to achieve. Now, she met a fellow explorer and they married and him being new to the game she is mentoring him in Karate and they go tombing together, although sometimes still individually, and they have several tombs yet to explore in all three worlds; which of course, is where I left off when I started playing Sims 4. I still go back and play them and other of my families in Sims 3 as well as Sims 2. However, I do believe the Sims developers will have a real challenge to bring WA to Sims 4 in a big way, because one of the things I liked most about WA in Sims 3 was being able to explore and move around in real time with no loading screens. Not sure how they can provide a big enough space for Sims to roam around find collectibles, excavate, and tomb exploration. Good thing I have faith in their talents and abilities, so I remain hopeful!

Australia too! Go and explore Uluru (say it like OOH-luh-roo) with Indigenous Australaian guides. Go to Sydney harbour bridge and opera house in Sydney
Go to Adelaide for a ride on Popeye boats

remember the camel cardboard thing in sims3 in Egypt, lol. it would be great if our sims could actually ride camels while on holiday in Egypt.

I'd like to see an Artic world with igloos, snow mobiles, Snow Yetis and skiing. They could even put in ice palaces, snow cabins and ski lifts..
Id also like to see a Scottish world with kilts, the Loch Ness monster and the highlands.
I agree with the Australia world. Sims could also visit Ayres Rock, and learn traditional Australian food and boomerangs.
I loved world adventures in sims 3 and I always felt they could've done so much more with it, added more tombs to the already existing adventures as part of a pack.
I'm not fussed about Pets or Seasons being brought back. Pets was unplayable for me and full of glitches so I had to unable it in my game.
Seasons was ok but I'd rather have adventures..
I'm hoping Granite Falls is not the only travel destination we are going to have.

Oh please please please..... some sort of adventure game. I LOVED the Sims3 game and the possibilities are endless..... PLEASE create a new expansion pack along these lines. Great ideas here!!

Yes, please! I really miss world adventure as it was one of my favorite expansions. I want to be able to create daredevils and adventorous sims that hates staying home and have a need for an adventure or something dangerous. They could potentially make a game pack for this kind of expansion as it would allow people to take it or leave - I heard people is very division in regard to this kind of 'vacation'.

I loved WA too, but I wonder what the numbers were. If they were high enough, they might remake a version of it.

They should remake it a GP. WA is kinda like supernaturals - alot of people love them and alot of people hate them. So why not just give the oppurtunity? From what I read around the forums, people actually embraced the new vampires in Sims 4 while not usually playing supernaturals. The same case could happen for WA if they made it detailed and filled with gameplay.
