Hi simmers,
I started a new world after finishing Newtown Sunset Valley. It's called Fairbanks and includes an Aurora-Skies country side and a downtown with sky scrapers.

Here some new pictures - I did a lot of parks and places to angle:

I worked again on Fairbanks - actually I'm playing it: creating families, building more homes and it's turning fall for the third time!
As you already might have seen on other pictures, I often took houses I already used in other worlds or that were built by EA and remake them so they fit my world.

I actually want to have snow like this:
And it’s almost everywhere like this except for some country side parts! I first thought that it’s because of the terrain painting but now I found out it’s because it’s too low. So I will take away the Island and rebuild this whole part again.. Any suggestions of what you would like to have changed there?

Since this world is really huge I might make a small one when I'm done with it just with the Little Town... We'll see

You've done a meticulous job giving each area its own unique atmosphere. Flows very nicely. Can't wait to try it out!
That's why I worked a little bit more on my world and I took some pictures. Fairbanks in my gameplay has more than 70 inhabitants at the moment and sims are moving in everyday (if I play....). Since it's still fall in my world, it has a lot of fog and rain - no sunny pictures today, I'm sorry.
I've got two pictures from the hospital-area:
And there's one picture from the harbor:
And one from the beach-area:
And finally it started to snow (and it looks like how I wanted it to look like):
Have a look at an apartment:
- more homes in the rich area
- diving spots
- beaches
And I will redo my graveyard because I got an idea which might look better. Besides I'm moving in with a lot of sims which I am creating so that I can offer a populated version as well - I prefer populated worlds...
