If you Save and Exit the lot and then return to the lot, does the bassinet become unstuck (either automatically placed in Household Inventory or into the apartment)?

Even after updating, the bassinet is still stuck in the hallway and I am unable to delete it.
Hello
I am sorry Bassinets that are already there before the patch, may not be able to be deleted. If you use mods, the Enable advanced debug/cheat intereactions mod has an option to help with the issue. You can try shift clicking the bassinet and click "destroy object " http://modthesims.info/download.php?p=5031285#post5031285
You can do this with MC Command Center too, as long as you have Debug Cheats enabled. It comes with the base module, under the Notifications/Menus/Console button. Look under Console. The mod will tell you when you enable it, if you need to restart your game.
(I can't remember, and I don't have time to check.)
According to Sim Guru Nick and the November 15th Patch: "We have fixed the issue of babies getting stuck in apartments; stuck babies will be unstuck, and babies will hereby no longer get stuck again. We hope… for everyone’s sake."
Maybe so, but you still haven't addressed the issue of babies/bassinets being stuck in the elevator shaft. I had previously posted that I lost a baby to child services because I couldn't access the elevator shaft to take care of the baby. Well, the baby may be gone but the bassinet is still sitting in the elevator shaft with no way of deleting it.
If you're going to continue to make it so we have no input to the areas outside of an apartment than nothing from build/buy mode should ever show up anywhere but within the confines of the apartment.
Another area I've noticed is in the festival areas outside the apartments. If you place your electronic piano in those areas, you cannot put it back in your inventory. So, best not to attempt to play it outside unless you want to keep buying pianos.

Hello
Can you try switching to the household whose bassinet it was, then have them move to another home in the world? The bassinet should be deleted when they move, and be found in their household inventory.
I have tested just moving out with leaving furniture and that didn't remove the crib. I don't know what happens if you take the furniture with you (but then you'll need to redecorate).

I'll test that tomorrow
I really haven't had time to play much with CL, but, couldn't you save the individual apartment ROOMS to your Library, before moving out and taking the furniture? The option to save a room comes up, but I haven't tried it.
If it'd work, seems like that'd be a much faster way to rebuild, a room at a time, than having to redo it ALL piece by piece would be.
I just wished we simply had the destroyObject cheat available without mods .. would make things so much easier D
And yes, you can save rooms. I'll do some further testing what happens if you sell everything cause technically, it should disappear cause it still belongs to that household.
EDIT: It doesn't work. You have to go the baby-route. The crib stays if you move. Doesn't matter if you sell the furniture or take it with you.
I just had this happen to my adult sim. I was changing her appearance, and the sink is just on the other side of the wall of the elevator. When I came out of CAS, she was stuck inside that little room the elevator is in. Before coming here, I tried all the cheats I could think of to no success. I saved and backed out before seeing this thread and realize I shouldn't have saved. I was still able to fix it though, I just went next door and played as my neighbor, then went over to my apartment and there my sim was, like nothing ever happened. I loaded back into my game and everything was fine!

Hello
Try switching to the family whose bassinet it is. Then have that family move to another home, and see if that removes the bassinet.

Besides the mod suggestion, I've written up a solution in my blog: http://sims4.crinrict.com/en/2016/11/crib-appears-in-inaccessible-locations/
