New trait slot for diet preference

We have so many different dishes that I think it would be really neat if we had a separate trait slot for a sims diet preference... I know the vegetarian trait is coming with CL and it bums me out that it will be taking 1 out of the only 3 slots we have. Some ideas:

- Vegetarian
- Vegan
- Meat
- Junk food (chips, hot dogs, etc)
- Healthy
- Pescetarian
- Gluten-free
- Asian
- Carbohydrates
- No preference

There would be some overlap and of course sims can always eat outside their comfort zone. I'd like it if sometimes we get good results...and sims would get a whim to want to change their diet preference. For example, a vegetarian sim eating meat for the first time and by chance absolutely loves it (but higher probability of being sick). I think it would make family gameplay more interesting, especially if you cook healthy but all the kids want to eat is junk food.

@Terra they confirmed it on Twitter. Sorry I don't have the exact link, but one of the gurus said the new traits were Vegetarian and Unflirty.

Oh wow! Thanks for letting me kow. I really wish they didn't post new info on Twitter that they don't post anywhere official... oh well. Thanks! Those two have been missing.

I really, really like this idea! And then sims who take another sim on a date would need to ask them what kind of food they like to eat, and decide the restaurant and dish accordingly for the date to be successful. In addition to favorites there could possibly also be dislikes. It would be fun if I could make my simself like Meat and Junk food and dislike Spicy Food and Sushi.

I'm actually vegan myself and this would be so cool. And I like @Nellythekidd 's idea of asking the sim's date what food they like before dining with them!

I actually do like that idea of a food preference slot as food preference isn't always a part of say a lifestyle. And it could work to simulate allergies. For example Gluten or someone that can't eat meat.

@Terra Of course! Fortunately, if you go on SimsVIP or Sim Community (I don't use the latter, but those are the only two fansites I know--I'm sure there are more) they generally post all of the gurus tweets on one post so that you can piece together the information we have thus far.

I didn't know they were adding a vegetarian trait, that's awesome! I love your ideas, I'd also like to set a food preference to make my sims stand out more from the crowd.
