Tips on starting a youtube channel

I have all the sims 4 games and i really want to start my own sims channel on youtube, but where do i start? What do i need to get started?
I am currently a mac desktop user.

Also, just a little information.You need to have 50 points and 30 posts before you can become a member and can then post pictures, have a signature, post links and change your profile picture.This thread explains about it.

Yeah, I've been wondering how to start a youtube channel entirely about sims 4...

Seems like a real trend happening now, even thought about it myself. When I tried to record myself though it was way harder than it seems!

Hey welcome! Im a youtuber myself. What would you be interested in doing? If you check out youtube, there are tons of things people do, some people freeplay, make stories, music videos, or even do 'How To' Videos. I would recommend looking on youtube for some ideas on what you want your channel to be about. It is a lot of work, but a lot of fun!

I've dabbled mainly with Twitch and OBS...as far as I know the best way is to just record yourself with the gameplay (like with OBS) and either use it as-is or edit it in a movie-editing software. Then you get to network and try to promote yourself...that's where the fun really begins. XD
