I'm enjoying reading everyone's posts here, so it should be fun getting to the 100th page
Last week I brought a new record player, I got it for £47 from Ebay. This one self lowers the stylis on to the record as I can't do it because my nerves shake my hands which makes playing records very difficult. I took some pictures of the record player, and also of my Elvis records that arrived yesterday and my Michael Jackson one
This is my Elvis' Golden Records, which the case has some pictures of Elvis in it, which I photographed there were five volumes of Elvis' Golden Records and I have volumes 1, 3, 4 and 5
And here's my Michael Jackson/Jackson 5 record:
My record collection is really growing now! I have over thirteen Elvis LPs and one Michael Jackson record, though I want to get more of his soon And I'm really happy with the new record player as well!
So, when I was three and my older sister was six, my dad would threaten us when we misbehaved by telling us that if we kept it up he would tape us to the doorknob. My older sister taunted him, daring him to actually do it. So he did. We now have a picture of my sister hanging upside down from a doorknob with tape going all the way around her. As it turns out, it wasn't a very good punishment because she laughed the whole time and kept asking him to do it again after.
I was going to post the picture, but then I realized we have a "No personal photos" rule
My dad threatened me with the same punishment. Problem is - my dad has a great sense of humor, but he's also got that strict Marine sense of discipline, so I don't know if he's joking or not. I never tried taunting him to find out which one it was...
I must say I love the kid's Mohawk hairstyle and how they taped the toy duck as well.
I forgot to put the disclaimer in: While it may the amazing strength of duct-tape, this is really bad parenting and should NOT be attempted, folks. Doing so may lead to loss of children and jail time!
