CC files not letting game open

Hi everyone,
So yeah I have the cc bug and love my cc shopping but I find whenever I travel away from TSR to download cc most of the time once I put the package file in my mods folder my game refuses to open and says game data missing or damaged please re install game.

I have friends that use the same cc with no issue at all
Anyone know whats going on with it or a way to fix?

If CC conflicts with other CC, this can happen - it's not just no-longer-compatible CC.

Actually I removed all my cc and just put in the new cc and I get the same error so it cant be conflicts between cc
Any other suggestions?

Does the issue only occur after putting in the cc?

Check to see that you have the latest version of the cc. Some cc may have been updated to not conflict with the latest patch version.
Also make sure that your game is patched to the latest version.

Try removing all your cc and check to see if the issue is still occurring. If it is still occurring with no cc in your game, try repairing the game and see if that helps. To do that, right click on the sims 4 picture in Origin and click repair.

Try resetting your sims 4 folder and see if that helps. To do that, move your sims 4 folder ( that is in Documents -Electronic Arts - then the sims 4 folder is there ) to the desktop. Then start the game, and a new sims 4 folder will be generated. Exit the game and then add back the "options.ini" file and the "saves" , "screenshots" "tray" "custom music " and "mods" folders from the desktop sims 4 folder to the new sims 4 folder, replacing the new generated file/ folders with the old file/folders.

Thankyou @rosemow have tried everything its only cc off one person (there is lots of it and its gorgeous) have checked with some other cc users and they can use it fine. All other cc from other people is fine just this one persons when I add it to the mods folder sims wont open
I think I will just give up on using her cc even if its beautiful
