Your simversion of the person from the reference photo looks very nice He is a very nice reflection of him as a sim. His hair and the outfits that he is wearing for the different categories of clothing look very nice.
I just had to check out your showcase on the forum!
Your builds, woow amazing! Your last build, the resort looks stunning and so real. Loving the architecture and the front of the building. It seems like a real resort that can be in one of those fancy magazines. I can surely do with a nice vacation trip!
Last shot was of the underground parking. Whew, that was a lot of pics. I hope you enjoyed the walkthrough
NOTE:
The Asian restaurant contains the Teppanyaki and Business Time Industrial Oven. In case you do not have these items, your sims can still get their own food from the kitchen, or purchase in the food court, ice cream shoppe or grocery... lots of food choices available. If you have the Industrial Oven, you can hire a chef and choose what items to add to the menu so your sims can order food. Was so funny... after 1 day or playing my chef wanted a raise - which I gave him. Wish it happens that way in real life, lol.
Most of the shops have a Savvy Sellers cash register. If you have this set, you don't need to hire a cashier since I've used the rugs and shelves so you can buy the objects directly. I've also used the food and books registers.
Since both Terry (the requester) and I 'own the store', I went to town on this build so it's chock full of items. Naturally if you don't have some items, the game will auto-replace if possible or some objects will be missing. Depending on your computer it may take a few minutes for the lot to be placed. I have an older computer and was able to play during testing without much lag. If you really like the lot and don't like as much detail, just remove whatever items you don't need. Happy simmin!

Shopaholics Paradise is such a very, very great build! It is so very, very detailed! Each of the stores and areas of the build look so very nice! Very nice furnishing of the stores! The layout and design of each of the levels looks so very nice! There is a wide variety of stores and facilities in the build and they all look so very nice! The exterior design of the Mall looks very nice as well!
It will be a very special shopping venue for our sims to enjoy visiting !
All the Simming community will enjoy having this DNA request build in their game!
AMAZING didn't you have fun with this one and it is soooooooooooooooooo goooooooooooood. Absolutely on the mark for a Shopping Mall, you thought of everything. Rec'd of course and I am having this one in Game soon for a good walk about. Congratulations Soocoolsim this is a fantastic build, deserves a Feature ......... sad that they don't do them anymore.
Wow the mall looks huge and absolutely amazing! I have to agree to the ladies posted above me, you really thought of everythign and every aspect. It is lovely how every shop/area has its own atmosphere and they look incredible authentic! My absolute favourite is the sweet cafeteria with the cotton candy tables ! I almost get lost just by looking at those pictures. Really astonishing work!
Wow Paula, I am in total awe of your mall creation. It's so detailed and realistic looking and has everything a real mall has. I love the fountain in the middle too. Every store looks so cool. Already rec'd and fav'd and will DL later so I can see all the details. Awesome job!
Well it's in my Game and it is even more amazing in the flesh ...so to speak.......... you have nailed this one so well, I don't live near a big Shopping Mall anymore, but did at one stage of my life and this fabulous build has EVERYTHING and then some. My fav, the Garden shop, well who would figure that one......
I really enjoyed taking a tour of your mall in game....Looks marvelous! One of my favorite stores is that outdoors store, very cool looking. And very clever how you made the underground garage! Great work as usual!
Yay, so great to hear your feedback @Glenkarri and @Sandraelle . I'm always curious whether or not my builds live up to expectations once in game so I really appreciate you both taking the effort to check it out and comment. Really cool how you each have a different fav place. Thanks so much ladies. You made my evening after a rather stressful day. Hugs
Sandraelle, the access to the garage was a total experiment. I forgot about needing an underground garage until way into the build then realized I needed a foundation to have the sloped driveway into the basement. Played around with CFE and thankfully discovered a new trick of creating an attached foundation after the fact. Hopefully I remember what I did if I ever need to do that again, lol.

You are so much more advanced in your building techniques than I am, I would have no clue how to put in that underground garage, lol (especially after the fact!). It was fun looking around at everything you created, it was really impressive. I don't have Midnight Hollow and the Savvy Seller's Collection so some of your rug items in the stores (like the furniture store, etc), just used random default rugs. It's kind of comical to see what the game replaces for the items you don't own. Like it put the canister set on the counter where I'm assuming there should have been that savvy seller's register. One thing I didn't see, was any way to get in to the bathrooms, it seems the doors were missing. Just out of curiosity, did you maybe use something I don't have and it didn't replace it? Sorry you had a bad day ...hope tomorrow is a better one! Hugs to you!
@soocoolsim ok where do I begin? OMG!!!!!!!! You really have outdone yourself as always, but this is beyond the sim holy grail! This is by far the best ever shopping mall I have ever seen, and there have been plenty gracing the exchange for years. The details in each area and shop are totally incredible Paula, and I think the one surprise that made me smile big, was those simple back doors leading to a loading dock with truck backed in and all, I was like whoa she thought of everything down to the last detail! One question though, it says cinema on the 1st floor and all I can see is like an entrance waiting type area on the right back corner, so is it that darkened area where you have placed the rabbithole by chance?
I so wanna get this is game to see up close and discover all your hidden secrets, but I have to wait for my ITF disc to come in so I can install all my games again with the 1.67 patch as my game stopped working due to the last update.....grrrrrrrrrrrrr EA! But just going through all these pics has me drooling to see everything in game play. I think the bakery/tea shop is going to be my absolute fave spot though, just thinking about my sim family enjoying a day out shopping and then resting with some tea and pastries (wishing I were the sim lol). The Japanese retaurant looks divine, I can imagine having a quiet dinner out after a busy day of shopping. And that food court is spectacular, loving the 50's style tables and chairs. Fastfood never looks so good until they merge into a smorgesborg of tasty treats, it's so hard to choose what to eat, maybe a little of each lol. And the 50's strikes again moving on into a scrumtious icecream parlor, that cotton candy looks good enough to eat. You seem to have chosen the perfect color schemes for each section, amazing work.
Onto the 2nd floor, I am especially in love with the outdoor/sporting goods and the flower shop, you really used lot of thought in the process to end up with the results that you did. The dress shop looks very ha-tee-da upper class for sure, quality out does quantity on every turn. That toy store will have simmies for miles around lined up to get their hands on everything within. Furniture butique and wine shop are very inviting, I can see simmies purchasing and drinking the spirits and going back to the furniture shop to relax and sober up some lol.
Onto the 3rd floor...., love how you combined the gym to get sweaty, the tattoo parlor to come out happily in agony, and the spa to recooperate and finally the petshop to make it all worth while! I mean after getting shot full of holes on your chosen body part, working yourself into a oblivion of sweat and pain, and then getting a massage and mudbath, you will need a soft furry pet to cuddle. Awesome idea to put the electronics on the same floor as security, shoplifters beware! Our klepto sims and career thieves will think twice trying to pilfer goods in this mall! Last but not least, that parking garage is so amazingly realistic, excellent job!
I honestly can't say enough about this build Paula, you are simply one of the most creative builders I know and I am so over the moon happy that you took my request. Thank you ever so much from the depths of my heart. I will be back once I get my game installed
