    Legacy Directory {OPEN/New Rules- 12/6}

    The purpose of this directory is not only to compile an active, organized list for easy browsing of the many Legacies available to read, but to also provide the challenges in a categorized manner which allows one to easily find the Legacy that appeals most to that reader. Instead of each type of Legacy being contained within its own separate post, there are three posts that will contain several different types of Legacies.

    Category One: Legacy types that begin with the letters A to I
    Category Two: Legacy types that begin with the letters J to Q
    Category Three: Legacy types that begin with the letters R to Z

    Not every type will be listed all the time. A type will only be listed when there is at least one active Legacy attached to it. Legacies will be listed under one category to avoid confusing duplications, although submissions will allow additional Legacy types to be placed amongst the other provided information. Submissions will be listed in alphabetical order under their type. A comprehensive list of Legacies can be found in this thread.

    In addition to the three main categories, there are two further sections― one for Legacies that have been Completed and one for Legacies on Hiatus. Legacies will be moved to the Hiatus category if no update is provided within three months of the previous update. They will be kept there for six months. After this time period has passed, a message will be sent to the author asking about their intent to continue. If the author plans to continue their story, they will be granted another six month renewal. If there is no response from the author after a reasonable amount of time or if they do not plan to continue, the entry will be removed from the Directory entirely. Additionally, after the original six month renewal the author will be given three more months to produce an update. If there is not an update within that year and a half time, the entry will be removed as well. Of course, any legacies removed from the Directory may be resubmitted with the New Submission Form if a new update is written.

    :star: You are not required to alert the Directory of every update if you do not wish to do so. It is merely recommended in order to keep the Directory accurate and your Legacy out of danger of being moved to the Hiatus category :star:

    tl;dr
