    WELCOME TO MAFIA CENTRAL!

    Now, this is the nice little corner for all Mafia-type games which include; Mafia, Slasher, and Assassin! Now, you may have come her for the following reasons...
    1. You would like to be the next host of a mafia-type game.
    2. You are interested in participating in a mafia-type game.
    3. Maybe you are feeling generous and would like to sponsor.
    4. Or you have some time on your hands and would like to co-host.
    5. Or you want to lurk.(which is totally fine)

    A conflict between an informed minority (the mafia) and an uninformed majority (the innocents). At the start of the game each player is secretly assigned a role affiliated with one of these teams. The game has two alternating phases: "night," during which the mafia may covertly "murder" an innocent, and "day," in which surviving players debate the identities of the mafia and vote to eliminate a suspect. Play continues until all of the mafia has been eliminated, or until the mafia outnumbers the innocents.

    Slasher took the classic set of rules variously known as Mafia, or Assassin and adapted them for its own game. This literally campy horror movie theme, with the players trapped at Camp De-Cap-A-Lot as a psycho killer wipes them out one-by-one by impaling them on the tetherball pole, dropping them into the swimming hole chained to the Ms. Pac-Man machine, and so on. The campers have to uncover which of them are secretly slashers before they all end up dead.

    ASSASSIN!

    Again, Assassin took mafia and twisted it to a different scenario. This time, the assassins are attempting to please their boss by killing all of the targets. The targets mission is simple, stay alive and get rid of the assassins. There are other roles to help you along the way such as the angel of death to help revive a dead player(assasin or target, they do not know).

      Title of Game- Assassin
      Weekend- Sept 20th (third)
      Sentence Describing It (flavor, roles, etc.)- Assassin is a battle of wits within an uninformed majority game. The Assassins will try to help their boss take over the world by whacking the Dignitaries in their midst, while the Dignitaries must work together to try and rid themselves of the assassins.

      First Weekend (10/4-10/6)-Username- Katieeee
      Title of Game- Halloween Town Mafia
      Weekend- First in October. But I'd be willing to switch for the second, I'm not sure what my schedule is yet.
      Sentence Describing It (flavor, roles, etc.)- I will most likely list the roles in the beginning. I will start with Day, and night will have a two hour time limit, to keep things moving. The game will have a Halloween flair with charcters from famous Halloween/horror movies
      Number of Players- 13 OR 15 depends on how many sign up.
      Date Signups Open- The wednesday before my weekend.
      Cohost (if applicable)- I don't think so. Unless someone really wnats to help out :p

      Title of Game- Cluedo
      Sentence Describing It - Based on the awesome whodunnit board game Cluedo/Clue. Roles are ready and will be announced at the start of the game. Will be a chat starting game. That means all players will have a chance to mingle and talk for a bit AFTER they get their roles, and the game begins right then and there with suspicions and accusations, however, there will be NO LYNCH on that first "Day".

      Sentence Describing It (flavor, roles, etc.)- Another complicated setup featuring a ridiculous number of roles, the ability for each player to get two roles to choose between, and a final role list that isn't guaranteed to be balanced due to the random nature of this setup.

      Sentence Describing It (flavor, roles, etc.)- C9++ Mafia is a Semi-Open setup that is known for being particularly balanced and giving more power to the scum the more power the town gets, as well as its complicated and complex method of determining roles.

      As a player, if you are interested in signing up for a Mafia or another variant, we recommend you check in either here or in the host's thread on the date when signups start. In this post, you will also find sign-ups for upcoming games if the host chooses to allow signups in this post. If you type /in for next, you will be added to the list and entered in the next game in which a host allows signups from our queue, provided that you check in in a rapid fashion. Hosts may also select how many from the queue they want to allow in to a specific game.
