  • This EP has brought me out of my Sims 4 hiatus for over a year! I am also a large family household style player - almost every home has 8+ sims jam packed in for fun and chaos. Thanks to modders, I have a household with 15 sims and that keeps me on my toes! (See gif of this family below) I think what sold me on this pack…
  • 'Longer Parties/ More guests' mod allows you to have a party that lasts 24 hours. You can choose just the longer parties mod - but having more guests is a really nice option. http://modthesims.info/d/558097
  • I haven't had any luck thus far - The sims that showed up were married or engaged to be, or randoms that my sims had no desire to date lol. I am going to try again with MC Command Center mod where I can set how many sims can be on a lot per zone. I am hoping I will get singles as I do not want my married sims out trying to…
  • I have a table set up in the Spice District not during the Flea market and I have had no issues thus far. I will have to test selling during the flea market with the table that is available. I like that I can leave the table there stocked up and anyone can sell from it. It will work well with my idea of selling girl scout…
  • I think that's a great idea! Using move objects on, you can scoot the table next to a pick up truck or van (can't remember what cars we have in game), and have a "fell off the back of this truck" sale. Your klepto sims make use of all the stuff they swipe and make some cold hard cash. :D
  • Hi NRowe - You can move someone into your town but you risk the game culling the sim. In order to add a potential husband to your game - the easiest way I have found is to have one extra lot free and place them in the lot and then evict them right away. My baby daddy was a townie and because he was not in a house he was…
  • Thank you, Rosemow for all your help. I am so frustrated with this. In the picture I shared before, Origin is saved in the correct folder on my D drive. It is my Electronic Arts folder that I need to be saved to the other drive as it's hogging up my SSD (C drive). I have reinstalled the game already last night and my game…
  • I didn't have so much luck getting things transferred. I do not know where I went wrong. I followed the steps to make sure the game files went to my hard drive. I had no option to install the game on my hard drive. I copied the Electronic Arts/Sims 4 folder to my hard drive and named it different from the original…
  • I am having the same problem with editing some relationships (although mine could be mod related). I started playing the Behr household and used genetics to make their parents and grandmother. Some of the girls relationships worked out and others the game did not recognize them as related to their new family. Last year…
  • Thank you both! I have another computer that I just updated my game - and I backed up my game files in case something goes wrong. I shall try this week to see if I can get everything transferred. Thanks again!
  • Sim Guru Romeo said in the last livestream that we can have a yard/estate sale. I am so excited to play with this craft sales table - so many ideas and I love the open ended gameplay that comes with this object :)
  • Oh my goodness - that is a hilarious idea! I could see some interesting storylines to go along with that. I wonder would the ghosts haunt the new owner of the urn? It maybe an interesting idea for funeral home mix up - taking home grandpa's urn and you find it's not actually grandpa in there!
  • I think there is some confusion about this and I do not think it's the posters fault. Some are calling the table that we can sell our wares on as a "flea market table". I believe the gurus called it a craft table - but it kinda acts as a mini personal flea market. You are right, we haven't yet seen the actual flea market…
  • I sure hope so! They are placed in our inventory and they said any inventory item can be placed - but you need a wall to place a selfie, so not sure how that would work
  • In one of the streams, they showed kids playing b-ball. I am hoping the kids can use the karaoke machines and of course the keyboard. Kids can also sell any item on the new craft tables. I need to watch the stream again, but I *thought* I heard a sim guru mention that kids can also perform as golden statues...but don't…
  • I am so looking forward to what they called the craft tables - You can place and sell anything on the table that you can put in your inventory. I love that we can place these tables anywhere in the old worlds, including our front yard! My ideas are: Kids Lemonade stands (It's so awesome they can sell stuff too!) Kids bake…
  • Sims VIP usually uploads the broadcast on her YouTube Channel. It's not up yet, check in a bit. https://youtube.com/user/TheSimsVIP
  • I haven't decided who will be moo-vin' on up to a deluxe apartment in the skyyy...but I know in one saved game, I will take ,y 15 member family band (the one in my sig) , and see if we can make some dinero. I definitely will take my main family to check out the festivals - and grab some grub from the stalls so we can learn…
  • After the apartment fiasco, I was not too pleased with the pack - but today's stream totally turned that around! I can't wait to have yard sales and selling my sims wares. I think that will add so much gameplay and open ended creativity - -at least in my game. I love that the children can also run the tables to sell their…
  • Yes, me too (rotational player). I may also say that almost the entire household has to use the restroom too - they are all about to lose their bladder on the sidewalk - doing that potty dance :D
  • Haha! I can imagine EA saying something similar - "it took courage to remove the idea of allowing our players to create their own apartments from scratch in a game featuring apartments. It is really innovative and we are embarking on a whole new territory that will effect the future gaming. Our players may not see our…
  • The least they could do is give us the basic ability that homemade apartments would be recognize as single apartments. I could do away with all the other extras if they could make that happen. I can imagine what we'll hear next is that only one family can live in a EA made apartment building. The rest are NPCS. I think…
  • Thanks for sharing, this really bites!
  • @Aine @pearson3 I completely agree! That was the one thing I was looking forward to the most. I have heard that a modder may add the ability to hire who we want to (i.e. Our own sims) if is possible. I am truly hoping that this is the case as it will make my game that much more fun.
  • In my largest family I have 15 sims in my household as well - it is quite challenging, but I love playing large families. These are my tips: 1) I have parents and teenagers that are working towards their cooking skill. It is good to have a couple of stoves and cook many meals at one go. If you fulfill the cooking…
  • Thank you, @EmmaVane for responding. I do hope you are right :) One other thing - what about large households? I do hope they accommodate everyone at one table. The most I have seen in both videos and blog posts are four sims. Are they going to tie in clubs? I do hope they allow us to at least cover the slack of the…
  • Howdy @Adspectus8 - I would love to help you out, what an awesome topic for your paper :) I have created my sim self in almost every iteration of the Sim's games. I keep the scale of my face, hair, and body as close as I can to reality, no nip and tucks for me, haha. I am a bit older than my sim because it isn't as fun to…
  • I found the latest blog entry to fill in some of the gaps: Your Sims can do more than just visit restaurants in The Sims 4 Dine Out Game Pack*. If they're feeling a little more ambitious, potential restaurateurs and foodies can customize their own restaurant. There are so many ways to tweak, add spice, re-arrange, and…
  • this is amazing news!! I am really trying not to jump back on the hype train - but it's so hard not! Woot!! What a great start to my birthday! :)
  • Haha! Nooo! This reminds me way too much of Sim's Social! Back a few years ago, if you purchased any furniture (or even wanted to build a room), you had to ask for gifts and spam your friends for collectibles to build it. Problem was that you needed those same collectibles each week to complete the events. Towards the end…
