Anyway, things are becoming really complicated for Annette despite being a super casual save, so I'm hesitant to actually continue with her. It was a near exact parallel of Luise's situation. I guess they really are related. Relatives separated by distance and...other things, but still...relatives.
Next update after this is Luise while I figure out what to do with Annette. Meanwhile, have a look at Annette's incredibly careless downfall.

Geekcon was in town at San Myshuno. Unfortunately, there was a thunderstorm just before the festival was set up, so all of her time was spent fixing just about everything. At least she managed to get some handiness from all that, though that shock from fixing the giant TV might be something she'd want to avoid ever happening again.
Cooking dinner, at midnight, after a long and tiring day running around to earn some money to stave off the bills.

She really should've just stuck to talking to plants...

So this was all her idea, to take you to the local Japanese-themed festival in San Myshuno and have some, uh, what did she call it, hanabi experience to overwrite what happened in Japan."

A little miffed at the ridiculous situation, Annette went into the karaoke bar to change to a more appropriate outfit befitting of a festival and gave herself a pep talk in front of the mirror. 'It's just throwing flowers, right? Don't think too much on it.'
Eventually, Annette began to enjoy herself. As much as she was put off by the sack-heads at Mt. Komorebi, she supposed attending the festival in San Myshuno to make up for that weird incident was more than enough. Surely, it would be a fun evening.

I'm getting close to finishing the new Starlight venue. I got a little bit done on the lounge and I should, hopefully be able to finish it up tonight or tomorrow morning. My save is just 24 sim hours away from the next Accolades, the one that Danielle received the nomination for a few days ago. I wanted to have that ceremony in the new place so my game has been sitting there waiting for me to finish this.

Since Ji Ho and Jack started to practice yoga and meditate to ease Jack's pain, they spend a lot of time together these days.
And since Jack loves games so much, he teaches Ji Ho Sabacc.
Usually Jack plays with Saiwa or Vlad but now that they are all so tense since Kiyoshi is back...
Jack: "Would you accompany me to the Temple later to let Arturo treat me? I can't wait to get rid of Kiyoshi's influence over me and all this pain. Tomorrow it's been a year since he became my Alpha and it went utterly downhill with me."
Ji Ho hesitates, but he promised to be honest: "Um Jack, are you aware that it isn't Arturo who heals you? It's the magic of the Temple - and the Tree. And the Tree is Kiyoshi. He's the diety who gives Arturo his powers."

Speaking of Vlad. While Jack and Ji Ho play Sabacc, he, Jeb and Kiyoshi gathered with Saiwa to finally tell him the whole truth about 'Bird'...
Vlad: "... and then we found out that Kiyoshi didn't say 'I love Bird' but 'I like Fur' because his last blurred thoughts were about Jack, his real fated mate. And not about you. *Vlad sighs from the dephts of his soul before he's able to continue. He hates to hurt Saiwa* So it wasn't necessary to have a fake relationship with Kiyoshi to bring him back..."
Saiwa exploded. His head was spinning. Jeb and him put their whole relationship on a risk for a misunderstanding of a muffled word and Jack's weird theory and a tattoo? Arturo already told them that Kiyoshi and Jack are fated mates but it seemed so weird that someone like Kiyoshi would love someone like Jack so Saiwa too thought there must have been something between them so Kiyoshi's last thoughts were about him - and that he were so special to him and the fake relationship needed to be done to help him come back... And now this! Since the Lab Saiwa hadn't felt so humiliated.
He was only able to say one word, and that was: "RUN!"
And they ran... They know Saiwa well enough that nothing they could do or say now would be able to calm him down.
Saiwa even started to throw things at them!
Vlad is familiar with Saiwas temper and he knows he needs his time to cool down. And so they decided to go the only other place in Tomarang where they could stay - the Temple. There's always some work to do and they could also spend some time on their secret project which is supposed to help to make it up to the others. Now more important than ever.
Poor Jeb. What have they done. That's the first time Saiwa is mad at him after they broke up - because of Jack - and he doesn't know what to do. What if Saiwa leaves him - again. He wouldn't survive this.
Vlad: "Let's leave before he hits us with something painful - or comes after us!"
And in the evening, when they came back from work, Vlad caught Ji Ho massaging Jack.
Vlad knows there is no reason to be jealous. Jack is his best friend and even the Bond lets him know that there's nothing to be upset about.
But it hurts. It reminds him of the times Ji Ho massaged him to charge the bond and he wishes his relationship with Ji Ho was different. That they finally could be together.
His head knows how wrong this is and he wants to give Ji Ho all the time he needs and he would even give up on love if that meant Ji Ho could be happy without him.
But his heart wants what his heart wants...

I have a question. I've taken Sims to Mt. Komorebi more often than anywhere else in the game. Still, I can't figure out how to send them to walk on a trail? I've missed so many sights, as a result. I've tried clicking on the board, but nothing activates it. What am I doing wrong, please?

if you want to send your sim(s) on a hike, there are notice boards that you can interact with. For instance, here are the Yukimatsu notice boards:
(You are going to want to select the notice board just at the top of the screenshot, the one near a bridge.) The options for hikes and other things are here:

It's mixed feelings for Oliver right now. He got promoted to Playmaker in the soccer team player mini-career, but he's also stinky and tired. His poor face... part of me wants to hug him and offer sympathy but part of me just wants to laugh.
Today, I spent most of my gaming session finally building a castle. Not my first, by any means, but certainly my first with the new kit. Took me some time to sort out just what I wanted to do and I even scanned the Internet for images. I did find some floor designs (plans) and I kept coming back to one that intrigued me, in particular. However, I quickly realized the layout wasn't going to work in Sims. The diagonal wings off of the grand entry. were an epic fail. Besides placing things along such angles, I just couldn't close the ends of the room to save my life. That's when I made the decision to make the build more box-like. I spent some happy hours working on it.

I did some map work last night and swapped families. Snow White and family moved to the castle-esque Umbrage Manor in Willow's Creek. It reminds of a castle they lived in before. I have to give a proper gut renovation from the inside to completely turn it to a cold castle interior like the one they were in before.
Cassandra and her family moved back to Henford-on-Bagley. I plan to make this a British countryside style etate manor and less so a farm with the renovations to come. The really can not handle this farm at all. I don't know what it is with this lot. It became over crowded when I build three stables, because the animals in sheds can't use it. Maybe just horse, goat, sheep and chicken but it's really hard when she's a working actress.
She managed to make it all the way to Del Sol from the countryside, But the host did not show up.
She's frowning though because her dog ran away. But little rascal came back same day when she got home. It wasn't a complete waste of time she got some knitting in.
Two time Accolade award winner, Robert Smith pretty much sang all night.
Marilyn Monroe sat right next to her, but it didn't look like she liked it.
Simmy Lady Farrah showed up too, two time award winning dj.

Cassandra may have felt like a fish out of water, as she has never won an accolade and everyone had a much bigger status than her. She couldnt really socialize with anyone. The Morrissey came, and then soon it was very and she rushed back home to the farm.
At least she managed to finish the black and white bear beanie, while there. I can't wait to see it on.
No one in the family is very into farming, which is why I going to turn it into a manor. Even with a ranch hand this house is a bit out of control.
At long last it's done! My sims have a new place to go for the Starlight Accolades. I didn't include the VIP door for a couple of reasons, I'm not a fan of the looks of the two options we have and I want to try and have a big crowd in the room. There are 62 seats in the hall for the awards show and all of them are within 7 tiles of the mic. I have no idea what to expect with that many sims in one room, but it should be lively.😁

I like the castle 😁 I think the staircases could work if down the middle the path leading to the middle staircase was made wider to reach the rest, and the fountain in the center? I do like how it’s turning out though

Since Ji Ho and Jack started to practice yoga and meditate to ease Jack's pain, they spend a lot of time together these days.
And since Jack loves games so much, he teaches Ji Ho Sabacc.
Usually Jack plays with Saiwa or Vlad but now that they are all so tense since Kiyoshi is back...
Jack: "Would you accompany me to the Temple later to let Arturo treat me? I can't wait to get rid of Kiyoshi's influence over me and all this pain. Tomorrow it's been a year since he became my Alpha and it went utterly downhill with me."
Ji Ho hesitates, but he promised to be honest: "Um Jack, are you aware that it isn't Arturo who heals you? It's the magic of the Temple - and the Tree. And the Tree is Kiyoshi. He's the diety who gives Arturo his powers."
No, of course Jack hadn't been aware of that.

Ji Ho: "Are you sure? You live with this pain for months now."
Jack: "Thanks to you I can almost do anything here. The yoga, meditating... I will set up a hot tub and skip the massages."
Ji Ho: "I could ask Vlad if it's ok for him if I give you the massages?"
Jack: "You would? I know this must be hard for you given that you learned how to do it at 'The House of the rising Sun' (the brothel where Ji Ho's mother used to work).
But Vlad will be ok with it, I'm his best friend. Don't worry."
Speaking of Vlad. While Jack and Ji Ho play Sabacc, he, Jeb and Kiyoshi gathered with Saiwa to finally tell him the whole truth about 'Bird'...
Vlad: "... and then we found out that Kiyoshi didn't say 'I love Bird' but 'I like Fur' because his last blurred thoughts were about Jack, his real fated mate. And not about you. *Vlad sighs from the dephts of his soul before he's able to continue. He hates to hurt Saiwa* So it wasn't necessary to have a fake relationship with Kiyoshi to bring him back..."
Saiwa exploded. His head was spinning. Jeb and him put their whole relationship on a risk for a misunderstanding of a muffled word and Jack's weird theory and a tattoo? Arturo already told them that Kiyoshi and Jack are fated mates but it seemed so weird that someone like Kiyoshi would love someone like Jack so Saiwa too thought there must have been something between them so Kiyoshi's last thoughts were about him - and that he were so special to him and the fake relationship needed to be done to help him come back... And now this! Since the Lab Saiwa hadn't felt so humiliated.
He was only able to say one word, and that was: "RUN!"
And they ran... They know Saiwa well enough that nothing they could do or say now would be able to calm him down.
Saiwa even started to throw things at them!
Vlad is familiar with Saiwas temper and he knows he needs his time to cool down. And so they decided to go the only other place in Tomarang where they could stay - the Temple. There's always some work to do and they could also spend some time on their secret project which is supposed to help to make it up to the others. Now more important than ever.
Poor Jeb. What have they done. That's the first time Saiwa is mad at him after they broke up - because of Jack - and he doesn't know what to do. What if Saiwa leaves him - again. He wouldn't survive this.
Vlad: "Let's leave before he hits us with something painful - or comes after us!"
And in the evening, when they came back from work, Vlad caught Ji Ho massaging Jack.
Vlad knows there is no reason to be jealous. Jack is his best friend and even the Bond lets him know that there's nothing to be upset about.
But it hurts. It reminds him of the times Ji Ho massaged him to charge the bond and he wishes his relationship with Ji Ho was different. That they finally could be together.
His head knows how wrong this is and he wants to give Ji Ho all the time he needs and he would even give up on love if that meant Ji Ho could be happy without him.
But his heart wants what his heart wants...

I have a question. I've taken Sims to Mt. Komorebi more often than anywhere else in the game. Still, I can't figure out how to send them to walk on a trail? I've missed so many sights, as a result. I've tried clicking on the board, but nothing activates it. What am I doing wrong, please?

Cassandra and her family moved back to Henford-on-Bagley. I plan to make this a British countryside style etate manor and less so a farm with the renovations to come. The really can not handle this farm at all. I don't know what it is with this lot. It became over crowded when I build three stables, because the animals in sheds can't use it. Maybe just horse, goat, sheep and chicken but it's really hard when she's a working actress.
She managed to make it all the way to Del Sol from the countryside, But the host did not show up.
She's frowning though because her dog ran away. But little rascal came back same day when she got home. It wasn't a complete waste of time she got some knitting in.
Two time Accolade award winner, Robert Smith pretty much sang all night.
Marilyn Monroe sat right next to her, but it didn't look like she liked it.
Simmy Lady Farrah showed up too, two time award winning dj.

Cassandra may have felt like a fish out of water, as she has never won an accolade and everyone had a much bigger status than her. She couldnt really socialize with anyone. The Morrissey came, and then soon it was very and she rushed back home to the farm.
At least she managed to finish the black and white bear beanie, while there. I can't wait to see it on.
No one in the family is very into farming, which is why I going to turn it into a manor. Even with a ranch hand this house is a bit out of control.
