There are not many children born in my game (because no one ever dies) and I only had twins once.
They were the second born children in my Sims 4 game and the daughters of my 'Sim Self'* Satureja Antares and
Don Lothario!
(That was at the very beginning of sims 4 almost 9 years ago and I never was overly interested in townies and so I didn't even know who he was 😅
He just walked along and I thought he looked handsome enough to be the father of my first Sims 4 babies!
You can imagine how upset we were when we heard about the makeover of him!)
Their names are Gianna and Gia Antares (named after famous italian Singer Gianna Nannini)
They live totally different lives and appear from time to time in my stories and gameplay posts.
I don't even have pictures of them as children anymore. At least not on my tumblr. But in the dephts of my screenshot folder for sure.
*My 'Sim Self' neither looks like me nor is she named after me. I just use the nick Satureja Antares in all games along with a red haired avatar ^^'
Just had twins today and man, the infant stage is ROUGH! I didn't even get pictures taken.
Yes, the first time through the Infant stage can feel rather daunting. With each baby having different quirks, it's almost a new experience each time. My family is on baby number five. Peter has his own issues, sadly. I think my parents are having a slight case of burnout. LOL
They currently share a flat in San Myshuno with a set of twin warlock brothers, Tadeo and Norrell Quest:
And here they are as infants:
Tadeo:
Norrell:
Have never really gone for playing them in any stage earlier than young adult on account that their natural hair colours still aren't available in younger generations (Tadeo's pink, Rhydia's blue and Leoni's green are all meant to be their natural colours. Norrell was born with darker hair but it went grey following an incident in his childhood). I am now however, really liking Tadeo and Leoni as babies!
*(I understand that warlocks are often male wizards in fantasy stories, but in the universe for this particular story, warlocks and spellcasters are separate types of magical humanoid).
@Nate_Whiplash1 , LOL, Thanks, there went that drink to keyboard
My love, my love, my fearless love, I will not say goodbye..
Sea may rise, sky may fall, My love will never die..
My heart, my heart, My drowning heart, Oh all the tears I've cried
Oh I may weep forevermore, My love will never die..
Here are Svetlana's twins. They're doing well, and growing bigger every day!
And Identical twins at that!
Let’s not forget to appreciate the award winning ergonomic design of the twin carrier itself, which allows Svetlana to carry her twins simultaneously in one single carrier, while still having use of her hands.
Fully adjustable, with breathable mesh, this twin carrier is capable of holding growing twins weighing up to 40 pounds. Each.
There’s no better way than Svetlana’s way of keeping those healthy twins calm and snuggly close while on the move!
@simgirl1010 , I was looking for cribs first myself
@CAPTAIN_NXR7 , I heard, not so long ago, there was entire Kit dedicated to those ergonomic carriers, among other things

Sometimes I wish I could have twin removal surgery because real life twin carriers are not as ergonomic and most definitely not as cheap
I'm not convinced just reduction would be enough to spare me the use of twin carrier forever and I'm really not interested in being mother or putting my twins to work so its not like i have use for them

Yes, twin carriers are such an annoyance, but annoyingly necessary if one has unruly twins.

Gilbert and Kenneth, in that order
I don't think they are going to be identical no
I don't often use the mullet hairstyle but I feel it quite suits Kenneth
its quite hard to get them in same picture since they can't sit up yet

I have that one @Ellupelluellu . The “other things” being really neat and hands-free Triplet carriers that sims can wear around their waist.
My initial reaction when I saw this was "Where's the other twin? There's only one sim here." Then I realised... 😆🤣

While I refrained from zooming in, I did pause for that same minute until it dawned on me. LOL

Yeah, let's not go crazy here lol
Apparently Svetlana is a good parent, she's raised her twins well...
The fact that I understood this immediately is a bit concerning to me.
I'm not convinced just reduction would be enough to spare me the use of twin carrier forever and I'm really not interested in being mother or putting my twins to work so its not like i have use for them
