Very creatively designed monster in the pool! It looks so creative and great how you designed it !
Thank you @rosemow I saw the hedge arches in debug and the idea came to mind and to use the Llama for its head and of course the Jungle statues were perfect that was a lot of fun to do, I am pleased you like my river monster
Hala Farm Resort is a Sulanese spa I made! It's built on the 50x50 lot Sapphire Shores. I made this so my Sims can go on a vacation since I can't IRL.
There's just something about staying in laid-back accommodation surrounded by agriculture that appeals to me so much more than their modern hotel counterparts (I love resort farms). One of the in-game plants, the Hala tree, I know is cultivated for its many uses. And although the game doesn't tell, I'd like to imagine that the Sulanese get their hala from somewhere. Now, since we don't have farms or resorts yet, I improvised by making a grove of hala trees, built a spa around it and then put bedrooms in. Now our Sims can stay in Sulani overnight and indefinitely (yey!); maybe just deduct from your household funds I guess... Oh and its also a functional bar.
This is the reception building. I was going for a weathered wood feel but it just turned out looking a lot muted and neutral like all my other builds.
Inside is the front desk; Sims can “check in” and get their complimentary fizzy drinks here. Right behind it is the cafeteria since I wanted to have board and lodging without having to put in a restaurant.
Stepping outside gives you this view. The sunken bit contains the beach party area. It has a tiki juice bar, a BBQ grill, outdoor dining, and a stereo so Sims can dance too.
The bridges above lead to the cabanas. There are three of them and they all look like this.
I wouldn't say it looks cozy but it seems cool and breezy. I would stay there if I could. Edit: I added a rug and lamp in the gallery version, so it looks a little more warm now.
This is the spa building. It houses the shower, sauna, and massage rooms.
The hand massage chair is outdoors and so are two of the massage tables, too. Your Sims can relax to the ocean breeze, sea water, and rustling of hala leaves while getting pampered.
I also put in this meditation tower. It's sectioned off from the rest of the resort by Hala treetops.
Also, this is just on the sidelines, but I put this makeshift food store here too. The resort is most likely a tourist trap so I'd like to think that the Sulanese also offer island-hopping tours, snorkeling, or maybe jet ski or canoe rentals to the spa goers.
I hope you’ll enjoy playing with this spa. And I also hope everyone is having an awesome day! Happy Simming!
Relaxing Eco Lifestyle and a Relaxed Eco Lifestyle are both very lovely eco living outdoors patios! @luckyheather Very nice wood and greenery topped pergola! Hey! Just a day or two ago I decided to come up with a last minute 4th of July build. After some brain storming I had the most stereotypical urban blocks, suburb homes and lots of red, white and blue blended together in to a shoebox.
It's interesting in it has no interesting features! Enough said.
It's boring, but it's a good home. But it's boring.
All the vibrant stuff on the first floor.
Now, remember, the front door is on the left.
Oops, the layout mapped.
Maybe I should drop this in the first spoiler but meh
I opted for a more normal palette on the second floor. Bedrooms are personal spaces, They deserve some peace, dignity and neutrality on a healthy planet.
I don't believe I had all rooms pictured, you can though, probably guess what they would have looked like
All your favorite Americana in one place...
Stay safe my simmers! Something isn't right...
