@ilikethesims30 The main content of my post was that you should check how much RAM you use before you initiate travel (with resmon for example). If you are above 3 GB, forget it.
Other than that, I think igazor already suggested to just save, close the game to the desktop, start the game again and then immediately initiate travel after the mods intialized (prevent all attempts of the game to save at that point), then save after you arrive at the new town, close again, start again.

Maybe by adding her to your family, it somehow corrupted your save file.

Jessica and Susanne went egg hunting in the festival park, and on the way home Jessica found a Spiny Turtle. It was -11ºC outside so she took it home, and they are keeping it as a pet.

@ilikethesims30 There is an issue with inviting sims labeled as "Tourist" into your household as they aren't complete sims. You would have to go to that world and invite to your household from there.
Starting a new save from the beginning to start sharing here. Not too sure on what Sim I’m using but it may be Emily Jones or a different Sim. I’m going to start in SV like I always seem to do but will probably go to other towns eventually.
EDIT: Nevermind on internet, it’s getting hooked up on Saturday so as long as there aren’t any issues I can’t control, should be posting again like I did before. Up there I said I’m doing a new save but I’ve decided to keep the Jones family going.

I think the only way to do it is to add her to your household in your current save, have the entire family vacation there, use traveler to disable travel restrictions then move her into her own house, then turn the restrictions back on and go home wait a few days and travel back as a vacation OR have your family move to union cove with the sister in the household once you are moved in, have her move into her own house, then have your family move back to the original town.Saving each tome before and after with different save names

and really good friends with him.Their town got hit by a Tornado and
Kimberly was whisked away to the Wizard of Oz world.
Monday morning saw Marius harvesting some plants in the garden. Promethus and Cosima both did the chores while Canute started on a new painting as he had a wish to paint something worth two hundred and fifty simoleons. After that Canute went for a shower before going to work. Meanwhile, Marius had finished the gardening and went to paint while Cosima went to the Consignment Store and the Elixir Store; she brought home some nectar and some gems from the former and some gem dust and Potions Ingredients from the latter. Promethus spent the day painting. The three had leftover Sushi before Marius cooked some Autumn Salad and Cheese Plate for the fridge before going to bed. Meanwhile, Canute received a Promotion at work. Checking on his Work days, he found he had Wednesdays and Thursdays off. As he arrived home he received a phone call from the grocery store, asking him to deliver some Plums of excellent quality before going to bed.
Tuesday opened with rain and the news that Nellie Spencer is due to die. Marius decided to improve on his cooking Skill while Canute finished off the painting he started on yesterday. Cosima decided to improve her painting skill while Promethus had a shower. After he finished the painting, Canute decided to make a start on his Martial Arts Skill, and he gained his first Skill Point just before his work hours started. Promethus went into town while Marius went into the garden to harvest. After he finished, he decided to plant an Unknown Seed, a Rare Seed and a Bell Pepper as the garden started to look a bit barren. Canute returned home just as Marius, Promethus and Cosima went to bed.
Wednesday saw the four siblings have breakfast together before Marius and Cosima went into the garden as Canute did the chores. Promethus went to the Martial Arts dummy and after a while he got his first Skill Point. After Promethus got his Skill Point in MA, Marius decided he too should learn the Skill. Cosima decided to paint until the family have enough funds to finish off the house. After having dinner together the siblings went off to bed; they didn't get to sleep for long as a burglar attempted to break in; the burglar's arrival woke Promethus, Canute and Cosima; Promethus and Canute went off to fight the burglar while Cosima attempted to join in. Luckily, the Martial Arts Skill Canute learned earlier that week was enough to see the burglar off before I saved and closed the game.
Scarecrow: Hi there! Whoa are you?
Kimberly: Kimberly.You can talk?
Scarecrow: Everything in Oz can talk.
Kimberly: Oh...well, what are doing just standing around
shouldn't you be scaring crows?
