Witches/Werewolves might not be the next gp

I might over thinking this buuut I was thinking about the poll by Grant and it is making me think that an occult gp or specifically the occults listed in the poll is not the next gp. Maybe something else is next and they're trying to plan the gp after the next one and see what occult would be better to do. I don't think they would be having a poll on whether players preferred witches, fairies, werewolves or genies if one was going to be the theme of the next gp. I'm guessing they are already developing the next gp so it wouldn't make sense to have a poll to see what players want if they are already working on it. So this kind of convinces me that witches or werewolves won't be the next gp. But you know I could be wrong.

They've already said before that they can't talk about whatever it is they're currently making. They can't confirm or deny. So anything they are actively talking about (from polls on occult life states to, yes, everyone's favorite farming possibilities) is very likely to not actually be in production yet. Could be a red herring in this regard, 'Let's make a poll and two of the options are already in production but we don't have to tell them that.' But who knows. I think they'd not be touching it if they were doing it.
Which is why I'm currently in a place of having absolutely no idea of what could be next.
A while back they also said that weren't currently doing anything University related. Could that have changed since then, absolutely, but to outright say no on it at the time. Eh.
But maybe they're planning for an October/Early November release? Either way feels really weird.
The second I saw the poll I knew werewolves were going to be absolutely destroyed haha...But still I hope this doesn't stop them from ever including them!
I don't know how long they take to work on game packs but a release later this year or early next year could be possible. It depends on if they plan to do the next gp this summer or in the fall.

SimGuruGrant also said that Witches were his favorite occult, so if there IS one currently in secret production, I would guess it'd be Witches. If not, I can only imagine Witches will now be very high on the priority list.
But don't listen to me. I've been wrong about literally almost everything so far.
I voted for Werewolves and Robots in the Twitter polls, on that note...so I think I'm out of luck.
To put things into perspective, even a stuff pack takes close to a year to make. If they still haven’t decided to work on it, it won’t be released until mid-2019 at the earliest.
That's my wishful thinking. It's been ages since Vampires was released and we've had another "Normal" GP between it, so it's Time for another Life State.

In the beginning of the year, one of the SimGurus made a poll asking what they liked more. Include Painting, Photography, and other Stuff... One of them was gardening, that was later added in Seasons. Like, just a couple of months later!
