The Sims™ 4: Tropical Paradise EP 07 Hint!

suzyl3suzyl3 Posts: 513 Member
So I was looking around on Twitter and I came across this tweet. This is the bar from StrangerVille, the latest pack for The Sims™ 4. I believe that this is indeed a hint! What do you guys think? Do you guys think that the date circled has any significance?

Most likely because we've had copious amounts of examples that were interpreted as hints by players yet lead nowhere.

What exactly is the circled date? I can't tell from that image.

There is no real date on that calendar. It's an object in the Sims, not real.

IF it is meant to mimic a real calendar, it's August, not June. June starts on a Saturday, the calendar in that image looks like it starts on a Thursday (providing the X's mark the new month and the scribble before them is the month previous), like August does in the real world.

That, or someone royally screwed up, given all the clues we have that the EP is going to come out in June.

I'll answer your question with a question; why would it? ;)

But when Cats and Dogs came out, there was 4 swatches on the calendar that were for each season and sure enough, the next pack after that was Seasons!

At the time they created this object, the release date for EP07 probably was not nailed down as yet.

This is in-game on an official object made by the Sims team. This object is the new bar in StrangerVille.

I remember seeing this and thinking: would they? It’s getting likely...

They always leave hints although some people like to pretend they dont. They used a calendar to hint about seasons too. I believe this is one as well.

Good catch. C&D had that seasonal calendar. It's plausible this could be a hint to a beach pack too

Well, you are in the speculation section... That's what we do here... Discuss about possible hints in game, in things the gurus say etc.

There's a sailboat parked in the yard of one of the neighborhood houses in Del Sol Valley, too. Always thought it stood out and was a bit odd. Now I think it could have been a hint as well.

Because I don't think they're certain about release dates at all 6 months in advance. But they can give a vague hint of the next pack (an image of a tropical island).
