First, I've decided I'm NO good at role playing. In fact, I'm terrible.
Second, does everyone talk behind the scenes? I was really confused about that! Everyone seems to know everyone and I had NO idea about anyone. It's very obvious that many of you have played together. The other thing I didn't like was that town didn't talk to anyone, but mafia could converse (though I'm not sure how). So, they were able to make a game plan?? Not sure how it works.
I had no idea who to save.
1st night save = Trouble
2nd night save = Sheldonly
3rd night save = cmbaker (thought he was Wadsworth at this point)
4th night save = cmbaker
5th night save = rosiefluxx (didn't suspect her at all, believe she was dreamer)
Then, I was killed and I know rosie got a key, too. I like the idea of the whispers.
I had a very hard time keeping up. I think I'll just watch from now on. I mean, I had tons of fun, but I was SO new at this (even playing mafia with my friends all the time didn't help me much but give me the basics). :shock:
Also, RL got in the way. Though I was said, it was excellent I was killed. My husband kept giving me dirty looks because I kept running to the computer to refresh instead of being with our company.

I think the more you play the easier it gets. IT took me a few games to really be able to think of everything, but I still miss things as well! I hope you play again!

Many of us have played together before, yes.
The mafia does get to chat privately behind the scenes to plot their evil doings. After the penguins found each other they were also able to talk privately. Unfortunately, the town must do all of their talking out in the open for all to see.
I do hope that you will give our forum games another chance. I had fun playing with you. Thanks for joining us

Lovestorms, I am stiiiiill incredibly new. I've just been reading along after 2 games already (I always die after about day 2-3) and picked up a few tricks here and there. It's always good to have notes, and remember what people did here and there. Even rereading can help.

Thanks, everyone!! I just felt like I did terrible. I will definitely go and read the old mafia forum. I think playing mafia in life (with friends) hindered me because I always wanted to be the narrator (so I never really played).
I saw the other mafia thread earlier, so now (if there isn't another game) I may go read it when I have some time. I might even take my own notes as I go along and see how it plays out. Fun! I do love a good mystery!
