The teddy bear gnome is my favorite -- and I hadn't realized his eyes were heart-shaped before! :). I suppose I never really get up close to the gnomes!! If he loves laundry that much, he can come visit me any time he wants!

Just finished reading the last 4 pages! It was alot of fun. And I love the pictures. :D Okay, to get the dog gnome I need the dog toys? need to step up my game. Since I'm in MH with the Goth's, all they have so far is the Spring gnome and recently the knackerbell gnome. I can't wait to get them more. :P

    The ghost gnome died.
    <a href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/102495458@N08/10066931714/&quot; ><img src="http://farm3.staticflickr.com/2885/10066931714_cc3446d2e9_z.jpg&quot; ></a>

That's a beautiful picture. I keep going back to look at it.

I've never had a cat or dog or horse gnome. I will have to try again one day. I don't seem to be able to stay focused on doing it though.

I hope you post pics here when you manage to get them. Good luck.

I've been playing a game today. In it is a household with toddlers - and a few gnomes. Without thinking too hard of possible consequences, I put a teddy bear in each cot so they would get the extra 20+ Lifetime Reward Points while sleeping.

Three of them aged up to children and I only could find the toy belonging to two of them, so I put their teddy bears in their respective inventories and had a look around for the other one and couldn't find it. There was another bear I'd put on the floor for them all to play with and it was gone too. So I got a new teddy bear for the one child who was missing theirs and put it into their inventory.

Then I went to the cot where the remaining toddler was sleeping. I could see his teddy bear still in the corner of his cot and grabbed it to put into his inventory and realised it was not a teddy bear at all. It had become a vampire gnome. It gave me a bit of a chill. I put the gnome on the floor and got him a new gingerbread bear from buy mode and put it into his inventory.

He ages up today so hopefully if he keeps the thing in his inventory from now on it won't turn into a vampire gnome. I noticed the children get the 20+ moodlet while sleeping with a teddy bear in their inventory.

Ceejay, if we have to find parts to build a gnome (build a bear lol) in ITTF,that'll be pretty neat. It seems like there's loads to do in that EP and there are many things I haven't done in the game! :P

KArritz, thank you! That's actually my desktop pic. lol So, yeah, I would have freaked out if I saw the vampire gnome in the crib. And your pic of the laundry bear with heart eyes is too cute! Never new they were heart shaped! Now I gotta go in game and play. lol

That's interesting, I didn't realize they could get a moodlet from sleeping with a bear in inventory. My gnomes are all traveling en masse, except for one spring gnome who somehow got himself stuck on the lot border. He doesn't seem to be able to move away and I can't move him.

    348Conference.jpg

I'll see them at one end of the lot, then when I scroll across to the front, they're all gathered beside the front porch. It's bizarre. But here's the Freezer bunny as a llama rider:

I've had the problem of gnomes being stuck on the edge of the lot. I fixed it by getting a Sim to kick them back into the lot. It took me a while to work it out but it never fails when I do it now.

I find that putting things on the edge of the lot so a bit of them is hanging over the edge is a great way to delete things you can't delete.

For example I had a sculpture a Sim started on the sculpting thing. I don't know which Sim started it.

None of them could continue working on it.

    I couldn't delete it.

I used move objects to move it but no more than that

I deleted the sculpting station and it deleted successfully. The sculpture stayed.

I eventually moved it to the edge of the lot.

Still couldn't delete it and it stayed there a few sim weeks and I was frustrated.

Then I moved the lot to the clipboard and deleted the lot and replaced the now empty lot with the one on the clipboard and found the sculpture was gone.

So now I have found this is a wonderful method of deleting things that are in use and can't be deleted. I move them to the edge of the lot and put the lot in the clipboard and delete the lot and move the clipboard version back. It has worked every time so far.

NOTE: Save the game before trying this. And check that relationships are intact with other families in town before saving the fixed game.

Edit to fix some typing I did on my phone at about 2am. Plus add a bit of extra info.

    Gnomes_Vamp_And_Mysterious_Chi.jpg

I didn't get a picture of the vampire gnome in the cot with the baby. And I couldn't put it back into the cot later to get a picture. So it seems it can only be in the cot if it was a teddy bear that got turned into a vampire gnome while in the cot.

Thank you for showing us Freezer Bunny riding the Llama. I couldn't see the picture on my phone but I can see it now.

Here's a couple of extra pictures of my gnomes.

The singing gnome gives everyone in the household a positive moodlet. I think it is +20. Except some Sims get a different number - depending their traits.

    Gnomes_Singer_And_Child.jpg

This child and the gnome are in my Magical Brown House. She is one of the Sims I put into the NRAAS Porter mod and moved 39 of them from an old game I stopped playing in July 2009. The game was too unstable back then and the relationships kept breaking and Sims kept leaving town. It was so frustrating. I now have them in Dragon Valley and in my houses that I put on the Exchange. Two families are in two different lots with the Magical Brown House and another two are in the Skylight House and the Crystal Gardens V2 house. I put the rest of them into pre-build houses around Dragon Valley as I only needed them to keep all the relationships intact.

And here is another picture of some Vampire gnomes. They are in the Skylight House. The gnomes really love being on this table. One of the Sims made it as a sculpture.

I've just worked my way through this whole thread and resized all the images I've put up that were either chopped in half so you couldn't see the right hand side (the side where the gnome often was compltely hidden), or replaced thumbnails with full size images.

Here are a couple more from my collection of gnome shots.

This is a pair of Showtime gnomes in front of the TV. They are the singer and the magician gnomes. I don't often get the magician. I don't know where he came from - he just appeared. There are no magicians in the family currently living in this house. (It is my Magical Brown House.)

    gnomes_cranstonboonitz_sing.jpg

And this is the diver with a vampire gnome on the famous sculpted table in the Skylight House.
    gnomes_Diver_And_Vampire.jpg

This Feline Stray gnome came out of the Wishing Well ages ago. It is in the front garden of the Magical Brown House. It just stands there holding up the sign. The Sims can set it to either Encourage stray visitors or to discourage stray visitors.

The Vampire has her fangs out. I've never noticed them pointing forward like that before. I wonder if she can do anything to him? Like she can change the teddy bears into Vampire Gnomes. I just got this shot so I don't know what is about to happen - if anything. She might just 'poof' away in a puff of smoke and flame or she might bite him.

This is my first sight of anything that looks like a gnome in Into The Future EP - but I suspect he is part of the pool game the Sim is playing. Not sure how it works yet - but that table might be interesting to add to a home lot.

That is exactly what happened. I don't play a lot of pool. There is a lot I still have to do and find in this game.

Now I have to try to find that new gnome. I still haven't got all of the old gnomes yet. Thanks for posting your pic.

You have to do more than just find one. You have to excavate and assemble then find bits and assemble those things too.

And it isn't always easy as I ended up with dozens of one type of piece and none of another. I'm about to go back into the future to have another go.

Luckily I have managed to get several other gnomes from the future. The original two have now died and are little gold statues. So I dismantled the ones I could find still in the game. They are worth 10,000 simoleans each when alive and 1,500 when a statue. I haven't seen any evidence of them reproducing yet. I've still only been into one future. Thought I'd try the other two futures and see what happens there with the gnomes.

Here are all the Mech Gnomes that I had
    gnomes_Mech6.jpg

When I hover over these two statues they say Mech Gnome
    Gnomes_LL1.jpg

    Gnomes_LL2.jpg

I don't see any sign of baby Mech Gnomes yet. I dismantled 3 of the remainder. One is still missing. Don't know if I'll find a gnome or a statue.

My household is currently reduced to three gnomes plus a feline stray gnome that came out of the wishing well. I say that is plus because it isn't quite like the other gnomes. It stays put. No jumping around for that one.

Here is a picture of my Gnome of Sculpting sitting and thinking near the garden of crystal flowers while the bot No1 is tending the garden. The rose fairy is in the picture too - if you can see the pink spot above the fairy house. I think she's having a fairy party - but it isn't exactly obvious in this pic.

    Gnome_Sculpting.jpg

Here's the Rose Fairy going into the Haunted House as the Fall Festival in hopes of finding a Cracklin Knackerbell gnome.

    It didn't take her long.

This is a picture of the three stray gnomes that can be used to either just decorate the garden, or discourage/encourage cats, dogs or wildlife visiting your lot.

I also added the various other gnomes I have in buy mode. None of them move around but they all add interest, and environment or fun points.

    Gnomes_Inanimate2.jpg

Their names are: Persnickety Puddlewonk; Car-le-Gnome; Happy St Patricks Day - Lucky Gnome; Holiday Good Cheer Gnome; Sleeping Gnome McNulty; and I added the Little Miss Swiss Decor Doll just in case she might be used as a gnome too - she came in the same Holiday set as the Holiday Good Cheer Gnome.

Does anyone have others - have I left any out?
