  • A hardware store, where we could buy/sell the various upgrade parts. But I think there needs to be a greater variety of upgrade parts to make this more fun and more realistic.

Plus babies and toddlers are so cute so instead of having 6-7 little ones running around in real life people can have it in their…
  • Ooh! I just thought of something... As part of their degree/curriculum, they can be rewarded special tools that would be useful in the real world. For example, an artist degree, they'd be given a satchel, with art supplies. Then, whenever they're painting or doing artistic tasks, the quality, speed, of work would be…
  • What I think would be a very fun way to spur creativity.. would be to have user contests for things like clothing, hair, and furniture. (Cars too, if we ever get drive-able cars again). Whenever they're about to release a new expansion, offer up a contest for these things. They choose... oh.. I don't know.. say 5 winners…
  • I don't want more adult stages either... I'm just saying that if you want to add 2 more growing up live stages because "the change between current stages is too drastic", you could argue a similar case for more adult stages. Personally, I'd like to see a toddler stage added.. but not a pre-teen stage.

A very good, and overlooked point... Technically only one of each public lot type is needed in the entire game; A Gym, or a Museum, or a Library. Could exist in…

  • Instead of a separate stage of preteen, they could have all sims have birthdays that don't necessarily move them to a new stage. A "sub-stage" if you will. Each birthday, the children move into the next sub-stage, but without the fanfare of a major stage change. My current family has 5 children. And even though the oldest…
  • > @joleaco said: > What is a preteen in your opinion? I think that someone who is not yet a teenager would not get acne as puberty has not occurred. They would still be a child, just a little bit older but not yet 13. What unique things could they bring to a game that the children or teens don't? That's a very good…
  • I only have TS2 university for reference. And for the most part it was "OK", not great, but "OK". In TS2, I'd mostly grind the kids through. It didn't take long to grind through the requisite homework, then they'd meet and find appropriate mates. I would like to see a TS4 somewhat the same but with a major addition. As…

If the past games are any indication, we're soon going to need extra lots to put our pet stores, apartment buildings, consignment shops, and anything else they want to add with future expansion packs. You said it much better than I did. Adding more towns will help in…

  • It's probably hard to do, but I'd like to see "ultra long" hair styles. Especially for the ladies. I'm a sucker for waist length pony tails. Though I know it's hard to maintain in real life. It'd be fun to see in the game. But what would be really cool, is a "bad hair day" emotion, and add a "Brush hair" action when that…
  • University. Personally, Seasons and Pets didn't thrill me all that much. I agree that there needs to be more activities for the elderly. Maybe some jobs that are only available for the retired. Like Nanny (we'd need toddlers for that though) Neighborhood Watch. Crossing Guard. Something that's only a few hours a day, a few…
  • More towns are cool. I'll stick to my earlier comment that more towns, with no added functionality, would be the easiest to develop. And in the short term, satisfy a need for more lots to place our Sims, and their descendants. But, larger towns are going to be needed too. As the game's capabilities expands, there will…

  • Agreed... The most appropriate place for them would be the public lots, but I guess, technically, they could be in homes too. A similar topic, stand-alone video games.. The big stand-alone console games.. those would be great to improve the "Fun" need.
  • I would like a simple Town EP. Add 3 or 4 new towns. Each town would be nearly empty, (maybe have parks, and/or museums, gyms, etcetera) but all the building lots would be empty. This would give the Family's and their descendants a place to expand to. Throw in a dozen or so new outfits and hair styles, and call it good.…

  • Thank-you, Now, what do I do with the rest? Also, It seems the only way I can add these to a town is to start a new, or play an existing game. Is there a way I can add these to the default town?
  • I answered my own question... In my packages, the different elements came on separate disks, and each had an individual code on the documents. So it was a simple matter of using just the disks/codes I was missing. The bonus of it all, I got the high-end loft stuff kit for free! (which I was planning on buying too)
  • The general order I'm following is EPs, SPs, Worlds, and Sets. If I may indulge in a follow up question. Individual store items, say a chair, would that potentially be a part of a set? And how would I tell one way or the other? Thanks in advance, ronin36
