Veronaville makes perfect sense, since we got Strangerville. May I plug my discussion? My post kinda goes in a different directions than fairies/romance. But a Veronaville-inspired world would be awesome no matter what it comes with.
Yes, I would love an empty Granite Falls (but with more lots), with noooo shells. Newcrest is cool, but I feel pressured to blend my builds in with all the shells in the background.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5Z2-lQ6YoeM This is a speculation video, where they read my original post. I’m so embarrassed, but also sharing here because there may be folks with new ideas to add.
This discussion (in which 60% of previous posts were from me—and 20% of the posts were some guy only saying “maybe”) has finally come to fruition. 1 idea of mine down, 940 to go!
I don’t have any source, but I’m pretty sure another future cube prediction said “udder-ly” like a play on udder/utterly. So, milking? I wouldn’t mind if a little farming came in a game pack.
@popstarissa I thought they looked like scooters, but they’re like electric bikes maybe. They’re behind the green trash compactor in the first trash compactor scene
Excited for any new content, but I’m afraid we already have too much country-inspired build/buy. Hopefully they’ll take this pack in an original direction, object-wise.
It’s time for hotels. We can finally have ten whole sims living on a lot together, the possibilities are endless now. I know Dine Out was pretty boring, and at times very buggy. I’ll take some weird glitches if it means I can build functional hotels.
I wasn't a simmer the last time we had a community stuff pack vote. But I thought it was interesting that, instead of picking only one favorite, we got to rank not only packs but individual gameplay features. What if we get all the number 1 gameplay feature from each proposed pack? And number 2's? And the most popular…
I am a Happy Haunts fan as well. I am glad more people want ghost game play like me! Still, I’ve seen lots of support for Arts and Crafts, as well as for portable telescopes and tabletop microscopes. I’m anxious to see what stuff pack will win.
Spooky Stuff is a handy pack to have for the CAS costumes, some of the BB is great and a little creepy (I’m thinking of the couches with sheets over them - but the realistic sheet-color swatch is the most useful - don’t get me started on the covered couches with ghost faces...smh) Thank EA for Vampires - there’s a ton of…
I don't know what you're asking for, but recently I was looking for the hanging herbs from Seasons and could only find the herbs from Realm of Magic. I was determined not to use filters. I looked through wall hangings, clutter, misc., even pictures. I forget where I ultimately found them, and forget what my point is. I…
I have to say: I wasn't really looking forward to a University pack. But this has a TON of cool stuff. Loans?! Evil Robots?! Engineering and Law careers?! Secret Society (which looks cooler than all of RoM, if you ask me)?! Plus I have a suspicion that we will get duplexes or buildable apartments (based on the image in the…
@Reallysoawkward23 I totally love the idea of rotating events in a community center. Let me plug this thread which didn't get much attention. You have great ideas, and I'd love to see some over on that post. I also love the idea of slow dancing, proms, and D&D (It would be cool to see sims sit around a table and just roll…
I agree! It took forever to find a good color scheme, and then have to drag the color scheme onto another object, just to have it be backwards. Like okay, sure I guess I do want a chair with a plaid frame and a wooden seat cushion.
What about hedonism and grilled cheese? Now all the Sims 2 aspirations are represented. Not even kidding, I would love if a town as a whole were super into grilled cheese. It would be cool to assign general social leanings like that. And different ones for each world. But maybe some sims will rebel within their society,…
@Sarcophilia I think Maxis did remake a bunch of original Strangetown families that you can download off the gallery under the EA Account ID "Maxis". There’s the Spectres, the Grunts, the Curious family, the Beaker family, which I believe are all from Strangetown. I hope I just made your day! But, I would love to see a…
I’m sure someone has already mentioned wanting a Theatre Pack, where Sims can put on plays. I thought of a good world for this pack. Remember Veronaville from the Sims 2? For more details check out this thread
Thespian career: As a playwright, you write plays. First you pick a genre (and the higher your skill or experience, the more options are unlocked): Comedy, Tragedy, Romance, History, Epic, etc. Based on the genre you choose, you can pick and arrange scenes in chronological order for your play (the more skill, the more…
@Marduc_Plays This is amazing. Couple lot types (retirement home), lot traits (senior center). And the activities you suggest are great because they're geared toward seniors, yet could be enjoyed by anyone. Roommates are a feature players are begging for, and this would be a smart way to implement that as well.
