i despise that thing  ravasheen has the "a-dough-able cupcake maker" if you use cc. i just downloaded it because i wanna make cupcakes for once and i refuse to use that infernal machine. haven't tested it yet but i use their toddler lunchbox and it's excellent so i trust them.
@DaniRose2143 @CK213 i love both of your ideas. definitely need everyday lots like grocery stores and live-in businesses would be amazing. i fully agree with open neighborhoods. that's the sweet spot for me - big and vibrant mixed used neighborhoods. there would be plenty of local residential and commercial lots so you…
exactly! they should've added rabbit holes to a couple of those pretty buildings. an ice cream shop at the pier, a grocery store, and a toy shop could've been rabbit holes or click-and-buy-from-a-menu storefronts.
i'm dying for townhomes but i'd also love duplexes and more apartments. i have a few townhome lots from the gallery and they are really well made so thanks builders, but it's so much hassle because it's still considered a single lot single household. we need proper multi-unit lots.
i'm glad they removed it instead of trying to fix it while drowning in complaints. the bug was beyond unacceptable. @Future i had no idea balconies were a thing with eco lifestyle. i bought it like a year after release and nothing i saw at the time mentioned balconies. too bad they never returned. like you said, hopefully…
if we get a music-themed expansion pack then we'll get new instruments. i hope we do! if we don't get that ep then i highly doubt we'll get anything new.
i'm all about yoga (spa day) and going on hikes/walks (snowy escape/growing together). i also make them eat more healthy foods. i had no idea about the diet ice cream or workout channel because i don't have the fitness stuff pack. now i want it
i wish they would. it needs some tuning and i agree that npc sims should be able to get married on their own. and i know we have the phone call pop-ups of npcs asking if they should get to know random other townies, but i would love a "make friends" option in the neighborhood stories panel. that way npcs would…
i'm enjoying the infants vicariously until i get the pack. also i'm waiting until my vacation to buy it, so i have two weeks to wait. yet another reason to anticipate my vacation
as others have stated above, i don't think we need another life stage. the problem = teens are way too much like young adults. if the teens were updated it would bridge the gap.
the lack of depth. sims don't interact with/react to each other or their environments in any realistic or logical way, even when you micromanage everything. their personalities and relationships and careers and the worlds they live in are all far too shallow and there is a distinct lack of consequences.
yes! dine out is the one they should refresh imo. spa day is one of my favorite packs and i loved the refresh, so no shade to spa day  but it doesn't provide a core life simulation feature like dine out does; it's more niche. a dine out refresh would be a lot more appealing to wary/disgruntled/uninterested players and…
agreed! we need more careers in general and just more basic realistic careers. my favorite type is semi-active but it would be ideal to have all three options available: active, semi-active, rabbithole.
@LadyKyn i also love the struggle. in my current save i got a tiny home cottage from the gallery, furnished it to my liking, got a chicken coop and two animal sheds, ten garden patches and bees and a tiny pond, then cheated her money to zero (after feeding all the animals and filling their feed bins of course). i deduct…
i also really miss the newspapers. we need them back. @mightysprite good suggestions. the "gossip" interaction could provide local gossip and the public access channel could be utilized for local news. like you said, the mailbox already knows via neighborhood stories. (edit: what i normally do is just utilize the…
@Kerrigan i have them make a family size garden salad and a family size fruit salad before using the stove. that skills them up and avoids fires plus they're healthy options they can grab whenever. speaking of which, i almost always use the simple living and geothermal lot traits.
i was cautiously relieved by grant's comments re: multiplayer and a mobile version. i have zero interest in multiplayer but have no problem with a version of it being an option as long as it doesn't impact quality/depth of the game itself. same goes for mobile.
i'd definitely buy lawn care as a stuff pack or gameplay kit with the options above, including crosspack compatibility like cows and llamas eating overgrown grass, lawn care as a club activity, kids and teens raising responsibility, parents being able to tell kids/teens to mow the lawn and scold them if they don't do it in…
@sorokonozhka excellent ideas! if they worked with native artists that would be perfect. a plains world could be stunning. i'd also love to have horseback riding lessons, interactions for toddlers/kids, ponies for kids to ride, and a horse-related career.
i'm so excited about so much in the trailer and blog post. every moment i was thrilled  the midlife crises and milestones and social chemistry and new interactions and quirks and aspirations are particularly exciting for me. more depth and complexity please! i can't wait to know more about how all of it will actually…
@UniqueKhaos long lifespan is a must for me. i need that time. if i'm over it and their birthday isn't coming up soon i can always just throw a birthday party and force them to age up.
i'll start a new save with this young adult married couple i made a few weeks ago because i love them. i'll create a couple extended family members for them. i downloaded a housewife aspiration mod a couple days ago so i'll use that as well.
