I don't think the couch was causing all the problems, but it is a reminder that you need to keep on top of these glitches or they will build up and make the game unplayable. I'm surprised the coych was usable at all though, because IIRC there was a big gameplay update in 2018 that broke all CC couches and beds. Ed Mind…
I really wish they would stop calling it a backup, its incredibly misleading. You can delete files from a backup without affecting the original files. It's a mirror.
Basically by default onedrive which is built into win10 and 11 will try to mirror your whole My Documents folder. And the free space you get isnt big enough for your average folder. Always disable that setting.
Saves, tray, and screenshots get zipped up copied to a USB stick and uploaded to Onedrive. BTW, never let Onedrive mirror your My Documents folder, it's a huge cause of lost files if you have a large one.
Unless you specifically exclude played households it will affect them, and Neighborhood Stories doesnt seem to care if they are elders, just that they are YA or older
The only sort of multiplayer that would interest me would be an optional drop in/drop out co-op mode, sort of like Stardew Valley or perhaps considering the way my Sims 4 games tend to go, Saints Row would be a better analogy.
Theres a helper thread for the EA app that runs in the background. It goes loopy with annoying regularity and is probably what's causing your problem. Which is why rebooting helps, you can also kill it with Task Manager as well, just look for anything that says "EA". Origin also has one, but you can disable it in settings,…
Another gripe I have with the EA App is that the UI when playing offline is hideous, just a simple list of installed games. It should show the game library without store & online features, like literally every other game launcher from Origin to Steam to GoG Galaxy does.
If you checked out the EA Play app to se what the fuss is about it can royally screw up your Origin install. Used to be able to have use them both but they changed something in it. Uninstall the EA app and the Origin page on AnswerHQ has solutions for the most common problems with Origin, like the disappearing library. One…
You should never let OneDrive sync your whole Documents folder, which is what it tries to do by default in Win 10 & 11. In games like the Sims 4 it results in files getting lost.
I have a small log cabin style lot that I use as a weekend getaway type place. Its also useful for dates away from intruding sims. Usually put it on Windenburg Island or a woods lot in Brindleton Bay. As mentioned about useful for cheating serial romantic sims. Should also build a sleazy motel
I like the look of some of the stuff and kid's clothes are always welcome. I dont like it enough to buy them though. The kid's clothes should be added to base game.
TLDR the calorie system in TS4 is messed up because sims don't have a base metabolism and most foods don't take the into account. There is a mod that reduces weight gain to stop this getting so bad, among other stuff, also stops sims losing gains from exercise so fast, Fitness Controls by Roburky…
The easiest way seems to be install UI Cheats and click on the fear to remove it when one pops up. Or the potion if you are on console. If they were not half baked or worked more like they do in TS2, Id put up with them.
The app its at the best lacklustre. it doesn't have all games and its only advantage is that it has an in game setting (Hamburger Menu -> Help -> App Recovery) to clear the cache when it forgets where the games library is, unlike Origin. But the last time I started it decided I dont have any of my DLC installed, (luckily…
