I said yes but I think the developmental downturn with sims games actually started getting noticeably worse about in the middle of sims 3 and has only gotten drastically worse with sims 4. I love the sims 3 in all its glory but I still feel like sims 4 has a lot more it needs before it can compete with 2 or 3.

Just because I'm curious and can't boot my game yet, do the skills max out at 3 when assigned to a sim through stories/quiz, like can a sim be made with a skill 5 of writing or a skill 7 of cooking or something? Or is three the max it'll give a generated/quiz sim?

Honestly, if all they did darken the loading screen I wouldn't complain. Just make it a darker blue to match the blues of the 2 or 3 (I think I eye dropped one of sims 3 menus to get that blue) and no eye strain, the plumbob pops better and the white text is easier to read against the darker blue (imho) it was just poor…

Nope, I hate the white loading screens, the white needed to change, but I don't think the bright blue is any better. and with the white loading screens, It has just enough gray to make it tolerable with lights on, the neon blue in the loading screen will all the lights on still gives me a migraine.
