Seems to be American females aged 16-25. I can't remember the last time there was a trailer starring a male Sim as the lead and the whole game has an American feel.
I'm fine with it being free, they've obviously decided this is the way to maximise their profits in the long term so I get it. Most people who are prepared to pay for the base game have already bought it, they want to get new free players hooked into the game and then cross their fingers in the hope that they end up buying…
With the Emily tutorial being added and having to connect to Gallery manually to stop it from being overloaded they are clearly expecting a large influx of new players when the game goes free. I guess they are hoping these new players will end up paying for DLC because that's the only way they're going to make any $ from…
I was thinking about buying this pack but heard bad things about it not working properly on release. Also I didn't buy 'Decor to the Max' but would like to one day, does that pack work properly?
I stopped buying packs on release since Bust The Dust because I was so disappointed it was broken and didn't want to be in that situation again. I wont buy a broken pack again. The silence about the issues is unacceptable and suggests to me that these problems might not be fixed at all.
I have all the Expansion, Game and Stuff packs but wont be buying kits unless they go on sale, they're a rip off to be honest. A third of the content of a stuff pack for half of the price!
https://twitter.com/TheSims/status/1433838197398589443 The music choice for the trailer feels a bit out of place compared to the kid friendly stuff we're used to, lol?
I'd like to see traits with more consequences in the game that aren't just moodlets that last a few hours or make a very minor difference to my experience. Sims' personalities don't seem to vary much from one Sim to another, so it would be great if traits could be used to change that. Some traits could make playing with…
Hopefully they fix bunk beds so we can use both tiles underneath. I suppose we shouldn't have expected them to be properly done on release, this is TS4 after all. At least this wasn't paid content like Bust The Dust which was broken on release earlier this month. Would prefer to wait a bit longer and have things that work,…
I have had to turn dust off in my game after paying £4.99 for it. It is the only Kit I bought as it is the only one with gameplay/isn't just aesthetics so this has really had a negative impact on my view on kits in general. I'm really surprised it didn't work properly, I'd understand if it were an oversight as part of a…
Why are you assuming a GP announcement is coming soon? There was a whole year without a Gamepack between September 2019 and September 2020, so we might have to wait until September 2021. Also they said Kits would be released to fill up gaps when there are pack droughts, and we've just had kits release so presumably we…
Ashamed to say I bought this blindly - been busy with other things so hadn't seen the trailer, social media, this site or any other information on the Sims for months. Was excited to get back into the game and I thought 'wow, I bet it is so much better going into a pack with NO knowledge at all'. You can imagine my…
I can think of a long list of things that would be better than Eco Living - Crime and Policing - Farm Living - Run the Government (win elections, create laws for Sims in your world, set the budget for public services, manage crises, track your approval rate) - Heroes vs Villains (superheroes vs supervillains, civilian hero…
You know its bad when an expansion pack is announced and the thing people are most excited for is ladders. Maybe next pack we might get bunk beds along with more rehashed ideas given a new covering of paint.
Disappointing, maybe they're running out of ideas? Clean up the world (already done in Island Living), the changing events (already done in City Living festivals) and the lab-type stuff (already done in Get to Work Scientist career).
I just bought it, wasn't expecting it to be out for another 20 minutes. For those unable to find it 1. Click on 'My Game Library' 2. Click on The Sims 4 3. Click on "Game Packs" 4. Scroll down until you see 'Realm of Magic'. If it still isn't there try signing out of Origin and signing back in again.
I agree. I don't like seeing real people in my Sims content at all, especially in game. Joey Graceffa, Baby Ariel.. I mean who really cares? Its like they've started marketing this game exclusively towards 13 year old girls? I expect a barbie crossover next. Also, what on Earth does Joey Graceffa have to do with Moschino…
I think it will be September. I think their plan is to release one GP or EP each quarter. We had Strangerville in Quarter 1 and Island Living in Q2. They will be doing an expansion toward the end of the year in time for the holiday period, so that is Q4's (Oct-Dec) release. That means Realm of Magic has to come out in…
