No, because the Sims has always been Americanised from its inception and it's how I've always regarded it. I'm from the UK, for the record. The only thing that's ever really bothered me was not being able to cook in the dorms in Discover University (because that definitely is a thing here), but mods fixed that for me.
I binge-read this story in a day like a few weeks ago. I think it's about time I give it another read. I've always loved how much detail you put into your stories, from the writing to the poses and images. You're a star.
I wish I understood why EA is so ardent about pushing online-only for their IP's. It doesn't work for the Sims; we all have different ways of playing the game. I like to share what happens in my game in the form of screenshots, but I don't want to directly interact with other people in-game. Such a shame.
I already have most if not all of the CC included in the update, but I'm happy for console players. Also, it's good that we're finally getting bunkbeds.
They did do this with TS2 on console (PS2 is the version I had). It was actually really well done; you controlled the sims with your analog stick. I liked it because there were certain objects that were fun to directly control and use, like the metal-detector and vacuum cleaner. Don't know if it'd translate as well in a…
That's what I was thinking, lmao. I'd very much like them to be together, so I was willing to gather the Ambrosia ingredients to bring her back. The crash helped me out, I guess.
Ryan's childhood friend and new girlfriend, Gabriela, died at his apartment. She'd gotten into a fight with his ex, (who still had feelings for Ryan and flipped out when she saw him kissing Gabriela at a Spooky Day party he'd hosted). Gabriela ended up dying of anger. He ended up visiting her grave as he was quite…
Ryan's tried to befriend people in his dorm, but the majority of them are snakes and have been saying snide things about him via the notes system. He confronted some guy called Danny about this and the conversation didn't go well at all: This professor haaaates him, she autonomously was rude to him at a bar and when he…
I've had this as well. I X out the interaction immediately, but they still come. At this point, I just reset my sim the moment it pops up or I use MCCC to make the sim leave immediately. Actually seeing if there's a mod to nix this behaviour because it is really annoying when your sim is doing something like homework.
I was surprised to see all of my sim's roommates he'd initially dormed with move out at once and get replaced with a new batch. If this is intended (since some people think it's a glitch), it would've been nice for sims that my sim was close with to let him know that they're graduating and leaving instead of all just…
Having fun. I just wish we had less shell buildings + more lot space. I would love to make a student nightlife area. Also hope that they amend the stove restriction in dorms and also put a gag on the cafeteria staff.
Some roommates live scandalous lives. One of them in my game has multiple boyfriends she invites round every night. Haven't seen the same guy twice in a row.
So many of the room-mates keep peeing themselves and being smelly. It's funny, but I've got that bug where sims that shower do so in their clothes. Cleaning outfits with MCCC doesn't always work either, lmao. My only real complaint so far is that I cannot stand the vendor for the cafeteria because they're the same NPC's…
That's reassuring to hear. I really think the ideas they've suggested for these packs would be fantastic additions to the game, so I'm glad that there's a chance they'll still be added later on down the line.
Need more activities for my kids and elder sims. I like the idea of Happy Haunts, but supernatural stuff isn't really my cup of tea. Hopefully whatever doesn't make it in this time around will be added later because I really like the majority of the stuff suggested.
The only thing that made me laugh is that she states she initially hated her room-mate, but now they're "besties". Yet in-game, I believe it states that they've been best friends since childhood, lmao. I generally don't care too much about the pre-made sims.
I think I saw one Youtuber say you need between 3 - 5 points in the appropriate skill to be eligible for the distinguished degree. I think that seems like a reasonable amount, as it's right in the middle.
19.5GB, mostly hair/clothes and furniture. I need more. Yikes, 6252 files. I might need to merge some things soon. I have the game on my gaming SSD, so load times are fast but still.
Yikes... That's such flimsy reasoning. If anything, we should get both lot traits and CAS traits. With City Living, I could maybe understand them focusing on lot traits over CAS ones given that there were so many. With DU, nah.
I didn't realise there would be no CAS traits. Did they give a reason as to why? Why don't they just port over the ones from TS3? There are so many that I'd love to have like Lucky/Unlucky. Light Sleeper/Heavy Sleeper would've been perfect for uni life if you have noisy roommates or want to struggle getting a student to…
Waiting for info from Game Changers. Before I would've selected yes, but yesterday's livestream has made me wary. Money isn't an issue, but I don't want to buy something that I'm not going to enjoy playing.
