Evening ladies, you've all been so busy! My apologies for being AWOL, I've had an appointment every other day for the past week and on the free days I'm trying to squeeze in driving lessons (I can reverse park now!) as well as trying to pack for the move and sort finance documents for the car. February also holds Ryan's…
A new warehouse update here. Updates might be a little delayed from me, we're prepping to move within the next month so I'm spending a lot of time packing and cleaning which doesn't leave much time for simming - but I'll still be checking in as much as I can. :)
So sorry for the tough time you're having, @ADWilson. Please make sure you take some time for yourself. If you're anything like my mum (and most mums!) you'll be trying to hold everything together by being the rock for everyone else, but don't forget about yourself. Big, big hugs to you. @Mmdrgntobldrgn - Have to agree…
Revamped my Warehouse chapter 1 - a lot less observations and a lot more story, now. Another first for me. Here if interested. (same pics but lots more words) How are everybody's renovacies coming along?
Hiya @Kgaff I really liked your first post. Enjoy your renovacy! More triplets, @ADWilson? I thought Sims was supposed to relieve stress, not induce it... :D
Sorry it's been a bad week, @fleshjenn my love, fingers crossed your next one is better! @ciane - loved your Tues and JJ updates. The basement is a great addition, and yay for Kathy having a little space of her own. Happy birthday to the eldest two.
You learn something new everyday! I very rarely play around with terrain adjustment, but your Newton-Brown lot is looking fantastic and making me want to experiment. I'm so impressed with the stilts you have going into the pit - I wouldn't know where to begin with that! Oooo, triplets! @ADWilson - rather you than I! >:)
I really like where you're taking your challenge, @Mmdrgntobldrgn - how interesting to see the pits fill up with rainwater, I've never seen that happen before. I started the Warehouse renovacy here. I've never played 3 completely unrelated, non romantic sims in a household together before so it's nice to be experiencing…
Random SV:
These are fantastic pictures! I agree, it's easy to forget how beautiful Sunset Valley really is because we're all so used to it.
I enjoy sticking with one family and progressing them as far as I can, but it makes it very hard to then leave them and play another family! The sim attachment is too real.
I had to choose this one because even if there's nothing being physically written, there isn't a moment of playing Sims where I'm not writing stories about them in my head as I play. I think this is true for a lot of us!
I definitely listen to Indie the most, but honestly if Luke Bryan's "Country Girl (Shake It For Me)" comes on the Country station... I, for one, am not turning it off. :D
For legacies/personal gameplay, 1 real life year = 2 sim days. Baby 0-1yrs - 2 days Toddler 2-5yrs - 8 days Child 6-13yrs - 16 days Teen 14-19yrs - 12 days YA 20-45yrs - 52 days Adult 46-65yrs - 40 days Elder 66-75yrs - 20 days Total = 150 days I like relating my sims ages to real life years because when I use NRAAS MC and…
I'm working on it, @ciane! I like how you've started with the Newton-Brown renovation, especially the merging of the smaller buildings into one larger one. It's important to keep all the kiddo's close. I've actually started with the Warehouse renovation in my game, but I haven't put the pictures and words together yet. I…
New (and clueless) to these forums, but thought I'd finally have a look over here after reading @ciane's 3 renovacies. These are really interesting stories, I love the idea of a shorter challenge. Going to catch up on everyone's updates ASAP!
