  • Where do people see this cart icon? In Live-mode? Main menu...? I've not seen it, probably because I have Tmex Better Build/Buy.
  • I don't know how to make sims suffer, and if I did, I probably wouldn't have the heart to do so.
  • Desktop PC for me, always. My old laptop can't even run solitaire properly. I have played sims on PS2 back in the day, but haven't done that in quite some time.
  • Top spot goes to Vampires. Second Spellcaster, third Mersims. Other than those, I play ordinary human sims the most. I don't like the look of weresims (please don't throw anything at me) and Aliens are underwhealming to me. Sims really don't die in my game, so very very few ghosts around. Plantsims? uhh...except for that…
  • I've not been in a simming mood in a good while, and haven't visited the forums either for an equal amount of time. I know about Paralives and LBY and of course Live the Life, but never heard of Vivaland and Inzoi. Might have to research a bit about those. I really need to stay IN the loop more :) And as much as I want LtL…
  • Aging off, always. Its a hassle when townies get babies, though. Unless I enter all those houses to age them up, they will be babies forever.
  • I loved World Adventures, I couldn't get enough of if. What we have now is just a bleak shadow in comparison. Selvadorada and Granite Falls look good, but I don't have enough to do there but collect stuff. Once I have everything, there's no reason for me to go back. Speaking of which, I'd like more interesting places for…
  • I bought this game in September of 2020. There was not much you could do. You could buy furniture, get a job at a diner, take care of a few needs. The "city" you lived in was quite limited, and the people just wandered aimlessly around. I played for a while, but bored out because there was nothing to do. This game is being…
  • I have no idea how many sims I've played, but its certainly more than 100. I have many saves, around 30 I think. I play anything from 1 to 20 households. Actually, there's only one save where I play 1 house, which is my first ever sim (from the CAS demo) and her family.
  • I played TSO also, and later EAland. I had lots of fun there, and was sorry it all crashed and burned. I don't know, I might be looking at that time with rose tinted glasses, because I don't think that time will ever come back. It was all about the people, just wouldn't be the same. Besides, I found making money was…
  • I haven't played infants yet, so can't really say anything about them. I've gone through quite a few toddlers, and the way I manage is to not let caretakers take care of them at all, except baths and a bit of social. My tots are busy having fun and learning all day, between taking care of needs. I always have food in the…
  • I've turned all rentals in regular worlds into residentials. If my sims ever go on vacation, it will be to Granite Falls, Selvadorada or Batuu. To be honest, I'd rather LIVE in Sulani than merely visit for a few days. My favourite all year place is Selvadorada. Granite Falls in spring/summer/autumn. Most places are…
  • I had no idea! Those are beautiful, I'll start working on that collection now :) Or cheat, since I don't want to deal with the pets. Thank you!
  • I believe if they have the Genious trait, they will also be faster.
  • I go months without playing, and I really don't want to bother with cancelling and starting a sub frequently. I just end up paying for something I don't use. And I already pay for an MMORPG sub, and that's quite enough for me.
  • Expansion/gamepack/stuff - got them all Kits - missing a few, and I suspect I'll never want to get them either. I refuse to buy Bust the Dust, for example.
  • I usually move all screenshots to my external drive, by save. I rarely sort by household as well, unless there are a minimum of 5 shots. Some times, when I want to share a shot, I upload to Imgur.
  • I leave them alone, like I do with all premades. Especially the married with kids sims. I never start with a ready&done family, and I never break up a home. The single premades some times end up as romantic interests to my own sims, so they are free game. I quickly get tired of a household when they start having kids. The…
  • I was JUST thinking the same. The more I read about Rene/TS5, the less I want to actually invest in it. Paralives and LBY are looking better and better, and I wouldn't be surprised if I got both eventually, and skipped TS5 alltogether.
  • I've only had a played sim win once, Bobby Builder. Incidentally, he was only going to playtest my builds, so wasn't really going to play him much. I'll say that changed pretty fast.
  • I can only think of 1 off the top of my head, Raft. Which does have co-op, but also playing solo, you need to have an internet connection for certain features/game mechanics to function.
  • This shouldn't come as a surprise to anyone. We've known for a while now that TS5 will have multiplayer, and that nobody HAS to play with anyone else if they don't choose to do so. Nothing will change for single player simmers, they just add the possibility to play with friends/family for those who want it. Can't see…
  • Ahh thanks! No wonder I didn't know, haven't played anything from that pack yet. Not that I've done much with Werewolves either :D
  • I'm almost afraid to ask, but....who's Kyle? I know who Greg is, and what pack he's from, but Kyle....No idea. :#
  • I almost always pick Independent trait for my tots. Angelic is good too. Also, I'm a control freak so they are never off doing mischief. none of my tots or kids make messes. Wabbit tablet will keep them occupied, and teach them every skill. I also always keep parents and any other caregivers away from the little ones,…
  • I always have basements, unless my sims live on a beach lot. Some times I have a home gym down there, or a study room. But, more often than not I have a basement for storing collectibles and paintings/prints. My sims usually don't have access to the collectible room, because they will spend all their time looking at frogs.
  • I do this for my sims, especially with twins. Bake cake, put candles on it, first sim blows out candles. Nobody grabs a bite autonomously, light candles again, next sim blows out candles (or same sim, depending). Cake goes into trash bin or recycler.
  • I think so :D I'm under the impression that MOST simmers look forward to them. I'm not that excited myself. I'll try them at least once, of course, before I have much opinion on them. I do actually HOPE they are worth playing with.
  • I suppose they're there to create the weirdness of the city, along with the sims you occasionally see running around covered in only a towel. Exciting nightlife in San Myshuno :D
