Oh, wow, thank you for such an informative post! You really held my hand for this, haha! Can I ask one more question? When I had the Sims 3 installed on my computer a couple years ago I had to jump a few hoops to get it to recognize my graphics card. Is that still an issue? Will I have to look up how to do that again? I…
This is how I feel. I loved that I had to try. I loved that sometimes everything went wrong and I had to help. I get that people like sandbox mode, but I don't feel like I should have to be imposing rules on myself. I shouldn't have to be making a game for the game. Just give me a game. A challenging or at least…
I would love colorwheels for hair and skin specifically. My brain can make sense of clothes and furniture being in swatches because that's very much like departments stores. Skin and hair has so much diversity, though. :o I would love this.
Elder interactions. Elders are even more of a non-entity than teens. Give me retirement living or something. Give me a reason to think Gramps is the bomb. Have him tell stories or teach skills or something. Something.
Honestly, some kind of active bakery/cake decorator or florist career would be fun, imo. I also really loved being a firefighter. More active careers would really make me happy c:
What I Like CAS-- I really like the UI for CAS. The presets for faces and the ability to pull things around really speeds up the process and helps me avoid same-face. It's very easy to find the clothing/hair/accessories I want to change. I actually like the swatch system for clothing and objects; You don't walk into a…
Yes, but I can't use MCCC. I don't have the willpower to leave it alone. Trust me, I know myself. I cannot have MCCC in my game and enjoy myself. I can't stop fiddling with it.
I have been too! My biggest pet peeve, though, is that the ankles, neck, and face don't really morph much and I haven't found a way to keep them from looking just a little off. I like the balance on this girl, though. Lovely!!
I third their suggestion! :D I would love to see more of your sims. I love the cc you've found and the way you choose to use it. Very classy and much different than most of what I see. Different is wonderful!
luumia sims has a few lighting mods that are nice. Also burntwaffles has one that's useful. There are a few mods that are specifically to let more light in through the windows on modthesims. If I were you, I'd go there and look around. :D <3 Gluck
I mean, it reminds me of Bustin' Out. You can take different routes, but they all lead to you being rich and kicking a rude old guy out of his house. I played through it once and I was done. :c Personally, I'd rather have more interactions and quirks added to my game than stories. I play Sims to make stories, not fulfill…
WCIF a mod that makes all bookshelves empty? In TS3 I had a mod that kept all bookshelves empty unless a book was put into them. There were also faux bookshelves so you could have a library look without the library-and-every-bookshelf-in-game lag. No luck on faux bookcases, yet. Did find my empty bookcases. -->…
So, kind of like the firefighter career where you would be dragged off on an adventure to be a hero and save lives. No real story, just little goals and scenarios?
I dunno. I want the military and the world.... but do I get my scientist world? Do I finally get my scientist world? :/ I'm thinking of Sims Bustin' Out...
I really dislike things with an endgame. It ruins the sandbox feel for me. I'd much rather have things that evolve over time. Even at the end of a career in sims 1 I'd get a box asking if I wanted to change jobs. Which I always did. No end games for meee
