in RL, yes, it's reasonable reaction to have to seeing a ghost....in the sims though, where you can live with ghosts and other supernatural things it's really really annoying to have that que drop or reaction every time they're around. I really wish that EA or a modder would make it so that when you click on a easel a menu will come up, one of the options being "paint...." where you can browse the paintings your sim has "unlocked" and they will paint whatever you click on. Anger and Hysteria are difficult kills now. I had to fill a room with silly or angry paintings, lock the sim in there and then bring a 2nd sim into the room and perform specific actions with them. I had a couple sims pass away randomly. No music, no reaper, no notification, not even a death animation, just *poof!* gone! Replaced by a pile of ash...that was odd. One of them died while listening to my sim play on the piano, I don't know what his mood was like, but pretty sure he was doing fine.

Can't you place pillars? Those should create additional ceiling tiles where you can place the roof, then if you want to you just delete the pillars...I think. It worked like that in TS3, but I have not done too much building with TS4 really.

These were actually the first deaths I'd had in game in a long while, I had one other sim die, but I think his wife reacted as expected, so I didn't think much of it.
