It was a style choice, I like it, it's cool. You know what you have selected because it's in colour. It's not lazy, all the work for it being coloured is obviously done.
Aw I want that back too. I feel like it would be even better with emotions, having their emotion expressed on their little floating head! Maybe that made it too hard and they just got rid of it altogether? It was just a cute small thing I always liked, and I always spent ages staring at it when selecting interactions for…
Understandable, well basically the video just shows that there is so much more you can do and it's so much easier to do it. At least that's how I feel. Some people will always complain about everything lol. The only thing I don't like is how when you want to paint the outside of your house, you have to do it room by room…
It looks like if you don't wanna 'plop' down rooms, you can still build it the old fashioned way! Just much easier now to be able to move everything around if you've built it in the wrong place or add things afternoons. The roofs! So much more you can do with them, makes me so happy. So yeh I think much better. Did you see…
I built my own computer only last year, with pretty high end stuff, including an SSD. Mine still lags terribly, I have all of the expansions which would definitely effect that somewhat. Especially whenever I tried to do legacies, after 5-6 generations the game just ran so badly it was almost unplayable.
Using the demo is so wonderful. Everytime I go into CAS in Sims 3 it's just a nightmare of waiting, and I have a very high end computer... I really hope Sims 4 is as smooth as the demo. They have promised it will be better than Sims 3, but then again not much could possibly be worse than how the Sims 3 runs.
Along those lines I would just love it if sims somehow reacted when someone else walked into the room they are in. A greeting or even just looking up at them. Just would be nice to have sims acknowledging each other more.
I kinda go with one interest that I have, and make it my sims whole life. For example, I like cooking. I would never want to be a chef but I always make my simself one. :)
For an interactive career (a la Ambitions) something similar to a social worker would be cute I think. They could go to other sims houses and try to cheer them up after events that made them sad. Probably would be a bit to dark though :P Other than that, I just want teachers! Why oh why can't we be teachers :(
I quite like the idea of pre-teens actually. It always felt like a huge leap from an innocent child who looked 6 and wanted to collect bugs to a teenager who looked 16. Although I do agree I'm not sure what they could do to make them a unique and fun stage...
At the time, Sims 2. But I recently went back and tried playing it and I just couldn't. Was so used to more customization in CAS, and just the general feel of Sims 3. But I really miss so much of the family gameplay in Sims 2, where Sims 3 just doesn't come close. @KFrith is your avatar meant to be daenerys? Looks so much…
Where do you get the idea that it's nearly impossible? While pets and supernaturals are different life states, they are still something which needs new interactions etc. Besides I remember a tweet from one of the simguru's (sorry I can't find it) that basically said that the way they designed the game allows them to more…
I'm not sure how that video is a loading screen if you can just skip it? Most games have little cut scene videos when you start them up, and then a load screen.
