To be honest, I haven't had much problem with bugs in my Sims 3 games. I probably will end up buying Sims 4 when it comes out, and chances are good I'll still play Sims 3 for awhile along with Sims 4. With all the expansion and stuff packs, there will still be a greater amount of features in Sims 3 than just the Sims 4…

I'm pretty excited too actually, but I'm going to reserve my opinion on the game until I see some pictures/gameplay. Sims 3 will have been out for 5 years when Sims 4 comes out. Everybody and their dog figured Sims 4 was just around the corner. I really can't wait to see some new game play, graphics and features it'll have.

I hope realistic car animations will make a return. My Sims actually use their cars a lot, and I like to watch them drive around. I liked how the cars backed in and out of the driveways and the doors open like in Sims 2. That said though, the burrito baby also has got go too :lol:

That is very nice to hear, though after the disastrous launch of Sim City, it doesn't come as a surprise that EA learned their lesson. I guess it'll be a lot Sims 3 now. Online connection for things like memories, gift giving, etc. I'm fine with that, especially since I can turn it off.

Will we be able to build both types of houseboats (traditional house on hull and boat shaped) in the game? Are both types available to buy in game?

Create a new family in the new town, buy a houseboat and set sail.. then go scuba diving.

Island Paradise by far. There's just so much more it offers to the game than University with SCUBA diving, houseboats and water slides, etc.

Between the houseboats and the underwater diving, it's hard to decide. I really like the chance to island hop from one island to another and not have to be restricted to one area to live. Given the tropical feel of the island world (at least I think it is, hard to tell from the live chat since the world is still in beta), I'd also like to see tropical fruits like mangoes, pineapples and coconuts. Yep. I pre-ordered the Mac/PC digital download version from Origin. I've had good success with the digital versions, and it is more convenient for me than go to the store and get it, and I usually come home from work late so chances are good I would have missed the UPS guy and would have to go to the UPS Store to pick it…

Not to be rude but have you actually ever seen a houseboat before? Because that is pretty much what they are in RL. Edit: On topic though, the tiny bathroom is great! I can totally see myself adding it to my other Sims's houses in other worlds, along with the ladders

I think it'll be a new town as well. I'm guessing there will be carpools with boats instead of cars to pick your Sim up to work (like the service Sims who arrive by speedboat) and probably a water bus to take your kids to school or something like that.

Yes, thanks EA. This is looking to be like the best Sims expansion pack ever. Not just Sims 3 but... the Sims franchise as a whole. In recognition of your efforts, as a special thank you gift, I have given you some of my hard earned cash when I pre-ordered the game from Origin yesterday. :mrgreen:

Super super excited for Island Paradise as well. I love the open concept of the world and of course, the houseboats and scuba diving/snorkelling. Actually diving underwater would be cool. Can't wait to see more information about it in the coming months, and kind of hoping Fish Kid also makes an appearance too. :)
