I'm gradually converting several older saves to rotational play. 1) The Elcone family universe has my most accomplished Sims. 2) For the "Squire of Willow Creek" universe, I have just finished the youngest active BFF household. 3) For the alternate Elcone family universe, I have finished the Schmitt family and am about to start the next, including Maddison Franklin, a detective (she also appears as a co-worker of Charles Phillips in the Squire universe), and her brother Byron, who is a criminal, though not a very dedicated one. Should be interesting. Blaze Fontaine, it appears, is not my own Sim; I've seen his alter-ego show up in the Elcone family. Humberto Montero is my own. 4) The Lizardi universe. In this one, my Sim, Alden Lizardi, married Summer Holiday. They have two toddlers, Tommy and Alphonse. The Foundry Cove neighborhood is empty except for them and the other BFF, who have just aged to elders. 5) The Wister universe, with Leora Wister, a rising comedienne.

It has occurred to me that you don't have to be a kleptomaniac to be a thief... you just pilfer anything that isn't locked down when there's nobody around to see you. In the game, the klepto does it because they get stressed unless they steal something. The criminal is just in it for the money.

No mods, no cheats. It's enough of challenge building a community of Sims from scratch. I haven't found all the easter eggs in the basic game, either, and the various packs I do have still have more stuff in them than I know how to use, or get to.
