I totally understand there are bugs, I have some myself. But if you’re under the recommended speccs you have to expect hiccups as the game is optimized around those. That’s a different conversation and not the point, I was just in awe because of “so many issues if you run all packs”. I’ve been playing quite a bit recently…
G I honestly don’t know what you’re even on at this point. I run it like that with 16 gb of cc in a generational save and aside from a minor bug here and there it’s extremely smooth and at best minor annoyances. Surely you’re not implying it’s unplayable.
My sims have holidays with checklists I set, doing events I enjoy seeing. Grand meal with the extended family on Harvestfest, opening presents and decorating the tree on Christmas, Easter egg hunt on Easter, I added a Midsummer fire holiday when they go to the pool. I just enjoy the weather. Staying inside during a storm,…
I still get simulation lag sometimes, but it’s rare. Used to be much worse. Playing on a custom gaming computer, and it’s designed for much heavier games. I also get a lot of fps drops which are undeniable and maybe not noticed by people who don’t play with the fps counter on. No doubt in my mind of the cpu bottleneck…
I just wanna point out that 64 bit is not the save all in terms of game performance. 64 bit is only related to ram, that’s it. A games performance is not just about how much ram it can use. Cpu and gpu play a massive part in it. Let me put it to you this way: if someone’s game is laggy and their frame rate is pretty low,…
Add to this that the game runs on DirectX 9 as well. I’m no pc expert, but I don’t think your 1080 or my 1070 are necessarily getting much use either. As far as I understand, if they’d at least give an option to run it on 11/12 (i think they’re up to 12) we should get an overall increase in fps which might help with the…
I play generational as well, I’ve been at my Goth legacy for almost a year now. All i know is windenburg had a lot of lots, but i got bored of the gameplay within a day. City living had an amazing world, again with barely anything to do. Cats and dogs, same issue, I felt all the budget went into that world and CAP and at…
I love the backdrops of this world, they are so detailed and it just sets the mood. For me personally immersion > number of lots. I always hear people saying they’re running out of space yet I don’t use even half of my lots. Not even sure how many we have, but isn’t it like 100+ at this point? And for me, an expansion pack…
I invested around 200 euros in Sims 3 and only got to play it for like 10 hours. My game started getting really laggy and choppy and sadly it bothered way too much to continue. I just never got it to work as smoothly as I wanted it to. I’m kinda resigned it just doesn’t like my computer. So because of that, I regret buying…
The game just does that when you move the camera, I don’t even notice it anymore. I have almost the same specs and 12 gb of ram and I’m pretty happy with the games performance. Unless I’m moving the camera like a maniac or zooming all the way out I don’t even notice the drop anymore. I do hope for better optimization too,…
I absolutely love it. I’ve always felt meh with expansion packs, but I’ve only played trough 5 days of my 14 days fall and I feel there is so much to do. My calendar seems bugged as I can’t plan an event in advance so far, but I’m not bothered enough by it as I rarely use that feature anyway. I like packs that add…
11gb of cc, ultra, 7 generations in, still smooth as butter. I will be switching saves for Seasons because I rather have a clean slate of any bloat, but my game is running great. For reference, I have the i7 6700k, 16gb of ram and a 1070.
Kids can craft gifts for others, that’s really exciting for me personally. And the calendar can be used to plan any event in advance which I personally am over the moon for. Everyone always praises the club system, this will be the club system equivalent in terms of major features for me. Along with the custom holidays and…
I don’t enjoy any of the eps to be completely honest. Normally I would have voted for GTW but I’m playing the detective career atm and actually having a ton of fun with it. C&D has no play value for me, the pets look amazing, the world is pretty, but beyond that, no game play. I hate that there are so many strays, breaks…
I would love that. I’d be more than happy with “object” farm animals with a few interactions. As long as eggs for example go into my sims inventory and it keeps them doing busy work so it actually feels like a farm/ranch, I’d be extatic.
